Sometimes what looks like a tragedy turns into a life changing, positive experience. For Dr. Rick Rodig, that is absolutely true. In 1995, an office fire destroyed the practice he and his wife had worked hard to build. The fire was devastating, but it caused Dr. Rodig to start thinking about the practice of his dreams. He wanted a practice that was about people and their individual hopes and needs, not about getting patients in and out as fast as possible. Dr. Rodig wanted to know his patients, to make a difference in their lives. Advanced Training It was this fire that eventually led Dr. Rodig to discover the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. At LVI, he eagerly pursued an education in modern cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry. It was exactly the training he had been looking for and he completed numerous intensive courses, earning the prestigious title of Master Aesthetic Dentist. Dr. Rodig believes that education is a lifelong pursuit, and plans to continue his LVI education in the months and years to come. Education Dr. Rodig earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona, and his dental degree from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. After a brief associate-ship, Dr. Rodig purchased his practice in Modesto and has called the area home ever since. Associations Dr. Rodig is an involved member of numerous professional organizations including: the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Stanislaus Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Rodig enjoys relaxing with his wife, Lynda while engaged in outdoor activities, including fly fishing, scuba diving, organic gardening, raising chickens, bike riding, and playing with the family dogs.

Love the dentist and the hygienist. The one thing they really need to improve on is appointment times. Last several times I have had to wait over 20 minutes past my appointment. My time is valuable too.

I've been going to Vintage Dental since I moved to modesto about 5 years ago. I love all the employees they are very nice. Business is super clean. Dr.Rodig did a fabulous job on my crowns . They look beautiful.

I've been seeing Dr. Rodig and his awesome staff at Vintage Dental for over 10 years and I STILL look forward to going to the dentist! They are all so friendly and personable and knowledgeable that no matter which hiegynist or receptionist I have, it's always an enjoyable experience. Dr. Rodig is consistently thorough and professional and has a soothing "chairside manner" that makes all procedures so much smoother than anticipated. Little known secret treasure in Modesto...

Dr. Rodig is always very quick and efficient. His top priority is patient comfort. I've had to get several cavities filled and he always has me in and out in no time. He is soft-spoken, kind, and keeps the chitchat to a minimum; but he gets the job done so I don't mind that. Everyone else in the office is very warm and friendly. Always happy to see you. I definitely recommend this office to anyone and everyone.

The dental technician was wonderful very approachable friendly and welcoming. Dr. Rodig was very quiet and less approachable but he may have been very busy and focused on what needed to be done first rather than socializing I will definitely return as this office was highly recommended by a family member

Dr Rodig's practice has been a favorite for my wife for years. She has a great fear of going to the dentist anywhere! However, she has been so satisfied with Vintage Dental and the staff at the office that, I, too, have made Dr Rodig my dentist. We drive 2-1/2 hours one-way just to get there! The dental hygienist's are excellent and have been there for many years. For my wife and I, having the same staff regularly makes a huge difference in our comfort level and in maintaining our confidence in the outcome of the visit. We are happy to be able to recommend Vintage Dental and Dr Rodig for your dental care.

I used to live in closer proximity to Dr. Rick, but since having moved 83 miles away I've decided to continue making the long trip. Dr. Rick, and his entire staff are so professional, pleasant and positive, I feel much safer in their hands. I've now been in their care for 14 years.
