At Vineyard Hills Dental Care, we provide clear braces throughout the Livermore area. Straight teeth are important for your overall oral health. We understand that while many people want to have straighter teeth, many teens and adults are uncomfortable with the traditional metal braces on their teeth for more than one year. While they are not as discreet as people wish, metal braces are an effective tool for straightening teeth. The procedure works by placing a metal bracket onto the surface of each tooth and running a wire through those brackets. It is impossible not to notice when someone is wearing traditional metal braces. While the treatment works, it can also negatively impact a persons' appearance while doing so. This has led many people to seek out a better option, one that we provide.

At Vineyard Hills Dental Care, we offer clear alternatives for adults and teens the greater Livermore area. We can straighten teeth and move them into the perfect position so the patient has a beautiful and radiant straight smile. If you have crooked teeth, unsightly gaps between your teeth or a misaligned bite, then we can help to correct these issues and more. Clear braces work just as effectively as metal braces but with some major improvements. Clear braces are much more difficult to notice, making them ideal for busy professionals, teens and those that do not want to negatively impact their current appearance during the process.

There are several types of clear and barely visible options to choose. One operates similarly to traditional metal braces where we place a bracket onto each tooth and thread a wire between the brackets. The difference is that instead of being made out of metal, the brackets for clear braces consists of a tooth-colored resin that blends in with the natural tooth. The wire is also tooth-colored so that the braces themselves are almost invisible and difficult to see. We find that this solution works well for teens and adults that are able to practice proper dental hygiene with the clear braces. Otherwise, food can stain the brackets. This solution is an excellent alternative to traditional braces and is just as effective at addressing all oral health concerns.

Clear braces also come in the form of aligners. Clear aligners look like a full retainer that surrounds the teeth and are worn on the upper and lower teeth. Aligners are more convenient to wear than metal braces since patients can remove them when necessary. One of the major concerns that people have with wearing braces is that they do not come off until the treatment is complete. If, for example, you get braces then decide to get married, you will either have braces in your wedding pictures or need to pay to remove them and reinstall them after. Simultaneously, if you have a big presentation at work and want to impress a client, your braces cannot come off for the meeting. This leaves many adults apprehensive about committing to a two-year treatment plan. We understand that appearance is important for more than vanity. They keep sending me junk mail after I visited their office OVER A YEAR AGO. Despite requesting to unsubscribe via in-email link and manually emailing them to stop, I think it's only fair to state this dentist and the receptionist (married couple) are Christine Hubbs and Tim Hubbs. Google their name to see why she was arrested. Also, lack of unsubscribing violates the CAN-SPAM act (specifies laws regarding email marketing), which one can Dave penalties up to $16,000 for breaking. I might be feeling petty.

I am a long term patient of Dr. Tim Hubbs. He has performed a number of procedures on me including but not limited to cosmetic dentistry (some veneers on my front teeth) and a root canal. He is an excellent dentist... the best I have ever had. Once I had an emergency situation and he was right on it with no problems or drama. His staff is competent and pleasant and always makes you feel at ease. Not only that, but he is a fun person to be around--always happy and upbeat. I could not offer a more positive recommendation.

Dr. Hubbs is a terrific cosmetic Dentist. He really does care about how he treats you as a patient and the work that he performs on you. He is a very personable person that seems like he really cares about the end result of his work. I would personally recommend him as a family cosmetic Dentist. Dr. Hubbs is an excellent dentist in the Livermore area. He is professional and caring. His staff is kind and offer many payment arrangements. I have always had a great experience at his office! I have had cosmetic dentistry as well as general dentistry and his work is always fabulous. The teeth whitening system is amazing and my teeth look so white! I am so happy with my dental care at Vineyard Hills Dental Care and with Dr. Tim Hubbs, DDS! :)

Dr. Hubbs and staff are very professional and easy to work with. Dr. Hubbs created custom mouthpieces for teeth whitening for me that I still use today (years later). The process was easy and the results were spectacular. In addition to being a great cosmetic dentist, Dr. Hubbs is one of the most personable and funny people I know. He can put you at ease in any situation. One of the very best dentists in Livermore. I highly recommend Vinyard Hills Dental Care!

Growing up I had a wonderful experience with my family dentist. Moving made me nervous because I was sure I would not find a dentist as kind and professional as the one I had. I was wrong. I began my search with a simple Livermore Dentist search and came across Dr. Timothy Hubbs. After some research I made my appointment for a standard cleaning and check up. I was also interested in cosmetic dentistry. From beginning to end my experience has been and continues to be wonderful! The sweet and efficient front desk personnel immediately made me feel at home. Dr. Hubbs and his staff are top notch and just plain awesome! I have recommended Dr. Hubbs to all my family and friends and they are just as happy! Thank you Dr. Hubbs and staff!
