Dr.Vella is an amazing Dentist. With a wonderful bedside manner, he is compassionate, caring, has a great personality and has strong work ethics. He takes his dentistry seriously and provides the BEST OF THE BEST for his patients. And to top it off, he has an excellent staff of hygienists and secretaries. You will not leave that office unhappy. Even though he does not accept my insurance, I still go to Dr. Vella because I know Im getting the Best. So, my family and I are willing to pay.
Dr. Vella is awesome. His staff is also wonderful. I had to have a crown pulled. I didn't feel a thing. Dr. Vella kept asking me if I was doing okay through the whole process. He's very caring. I would recommend him to everyone. It really was such a pleasant experience. And he called me that evening to see how I was doing. Again Dr. Vella and his staff are awesome.
As a prior military veteran, I have never had a good experience with any Dentist. Since I started visiting Dr. Vella, I have had nothing but great experiences. Both Dr. Vella and his staff go above and beyond to take care of his patients. He is up front in telling what procedures he will be preforming. As a patient I like the fact he is ' A Down to Earth ' type of Dentist. I would recommend ( which I already have ) to anybody and everyone.Five stars to Dr. Vella and his Staff.
I was always afraid of going to the dentist, until I met with Dr Vella. This gentleman of a doctor made me feel so comfortable he is a compassionate, caring man and does outstanding work. I needed allot of work done and Dr Vella walked me through each step thoroughly and with much care. He is the most professional man (dentist) I have ever met and knows it all when it comes to teeth. I can't thank him enough for the care and constant care he has shown throughout surgery and much other work he has done. He has changed my life by fixing my teeth. I would recommend this dentist to anyone who has a fear of dentists. Dr Vella is gentle and always made sure I was comfortable. I want to thank him for all he has done and changing my life. His staff and Co workers are also very professional caring and accommodating, they are friendly and always listen and make sure you understand all that is going on. I have been a patient here since 2000. I truly love this dental practice and you will also! Dr. Vincent Vella is a wonderful compassionate person. Always makes sure you are not in pain ever. Picks the procedure he feels will benefit you most. You are not just another patient here. The whole office staff is friendly and treats each person like family. Always brought my children with me since they were born. I felt if my kids saw me getting dental work, it would take away any 'fear'. Both are teenagers now. Getting teeth cleaned by Joni since they were 3yrs. Joni is Magnificent. Office always has the most updated medical equipment. I 'm grateful for everything Dr. Vella has done for our family. I refer people who need a dentist to this practice and our teens refer their classmates!
Dr. Vincent Vella is a native of Charleroi, Belgium who came to the United States and set up residency in Rochester in 1969. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and biology, summa cum laude from St. John Fisher College and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Buffalo Dental School.
Since that time, Dr. Vella has continued his education to include Certificates in Oral Implantology, Wilckodontics, licenses in Oral Sedation and IV Sedation, fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantology and is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology. As a fellow with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Dr. Vella is recognized as an implant specialist.
Continuing education is one of Dr. Vellas biggest passions. In order to maintain the highest quality of care for his patients, he attends numerous continuing education programs throughout the year. He was recently recognized for achieving 2500 + hours in continuing education by the 7th District Dental Society.
Dr. David Attardi started his career as a Pharmacy student in the school of Medicinal Chemistry at SUNY Buffalo. He studied Molecular Chemistry and Chemotherapy research in his undergraduate program and graduated in 1986 with his Bachelor of Science in Medicinal Chemistry.
Dr. Attardi then studied General Dentistry at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and participated in an Oral Surgery Externship in his Junior year. He had an active research grant with posterior composites and dental material composition. He completed his studies in 1990 after extra courses in Endodontics, Oral Surgery and Prosthodontics in 1990.
Dr. Attardi entered private practice in Kearny, New Jersey, Upper Montclair New Jersey as well as Bayonne New Jersey and participated on the Head and Neck Tumor Board . He was an active member of the Apollonia Society of New Jersey, The Fauchard Dental Society, The American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, The Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry as well as local study clubs and Hudson County Dental Society.

After going to 4 different oral surgeons for consultations (Dr Vella was last), there was nothing for me to consider. I booked an appointment and regretted he hadn't been my 1st consultation so I could have saved time and money. Yes, money! I was charged $100 for a consultation appointment! I would have booked him if he was the most expensive, but he was the most reasonably priced. From the moment I walked in for my consultation I was greeted with a smile and accommodating receptionist. I forgot to bring my x-rays and she made sure that I knew it was not a problem and called and had them emailed directly from my general dentist. The dental assistant that took care of me prior to Dr. Vella arriving had such a professionally caring personality. I feel terrible that her name escapes me because I want to recognize her. She took the time to get all of my medical information correct, and it is extensive, because I have a chronic neuromuscular condition (CRPS). To my surprise and pleasure, Dr. Vella had treated a patient with my specific condition! Not only did the team understand what I personally and specifically would need to endure such a procedure that is traumatic to a body, but they went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable and that all my questions were answered before I walked out that day. That point alone is very important! My situation was so urgent that I was added to the end of their day. I was aware that Dr. Vella had a commitment outside the office and knew in advance the appointment needed to wrap up with a 1/2 hour. Over an hour later, we were in the process of wrapping up the appointment and he stayed for an additional 1/2 hour to chat with me and make sure I was comfortable! Dr Bella had to remove roots from two of my teeth, do bone grafting in both areas, and prepare both sites for implants. The day of surgery was above and beyond anything I expected. My daughter was escorted to a private waiting area, which according to her was amazing. Recliner TV Coffee Work Space and above all QUIET. When I entered the surgical area I was greeted by Dr. Vella's assistants Heather & Jodi. I'm not sure I can adequately put into words how wonderful they were. Their first priority of business was to see what my physical needs were that day, as my condition causes different symptoms each day. They wanted to address each and every one of them and proceed accordingly. The only thing I can say about Dr. Vella is he came into the room, chatted with me, made sure I was comfortable and wanted to address any concerns I may have had. I laid back and said "do your thing". That is how relaxed and confident I was in Dr. Vella. He started the sedation process and said I was about to get the best sleep of my life! He wasn't lying! Everything went perfectly and I am looking forward to my next appointment to have my stitches removed.

I had a tooth extracted on Oct 31, 2022 This experience can be somewhat traumatic but Dr. Vella and his team made it as painless as it could be. His assistant Heather was very calming and explained everything that was going to happen. I can't say enough good things about that dental practice and the way they approach their work. Thank you Dr. Vella and Heather for taking a bad thing and making it a good thing.

Dr. Vella and his staff are the best in the business. They treat their patients with the outmost respect and make you feel comfortable from the moment you enter. They keep a sterile and clean environment at all times. Before you leave they give you complimentary toothbrush and other dental care items. Simply the best

I had another great experience with Jenny, Dr. Vella and the staff at Vincent Vella, DDS.,PC. It's hard to imagine a good time at the dentist but everyone here is so cordial, outgoing, friendly and helpful that is exactly what happens. In addition, the staff is knowledgeable and experienced, so I get the very best care and treatment. I highly recommend them.

Yesterday i had my wisdom teeth extraction with Dr. Vella. I will start by saying the clinic is state of the art with a beautiful waiting room. I filled out an intake form and it made me smile when I was asked what kind of music I would like to listen to in the surgical suite as well as if I wanted a milkshake after my procedure! I have to admit I was nervous about the procedure, but Heather and Jodi helped make me feel comfortable and explained what would be happening and what I would feel. I did choose to be sedated, mainly to ease my anxiety, and I'm happy I did! It felt quick and painless and I was in and out within the hour. Dr. Vela called me personally that evening just to make sure I was feeling ok and didn't have any questions, which was very kind. Today is day two and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised with how well I'm doing! My pain and swelling are well managed with ibuprofen and ice- it's way better than I thought it would be! I highly recommend Dr. Vela and his team for a seamless experience and also so far what seems like really good work!! As a side note- I have had some negative experiences with going to the dentist, which has made me have a relative distrust and anxiety about getting my teeth cleaned. I recently started going to edgeview dental and my hygienist Shannon was great. She explained everything she was doing and made me feel incredibly comfortable. I also had her clean my then 2.5 year olds teeth and she was great with him too! He was also very comfortable and loved the box of toys he got to pick from at the end. I am happy to have a new dental home for my whole family, and overall less fear/anxiety about getting my teeth cleaned!

I saw Dr Vella because I was in serious pain. I had an infection in a wisdom tooth and needed it pulled. My plan was to go to another dentist at a later date, but the pain got intense. My family dentist referred me to Dr. Vella. Dr Vella and his staff were kind and considerate and actually cared that I was in so much pain. Dr Vella pulled the tooth the same day and gave me great relief!! Dr Vella is an excellent dentist and I will refer him to anyone that asks. Thank you and your staff Dr. Vella!! I have been going to Dr. Vella since the beginning. I am like most people and never look forward to going to the dentist but I have to be honest Dr. Vella and his amazing staff make it almost pleasureable. I have had a few teeth issues and they have always worked hard to help me maintain a healthy mouth. I recently had to have a tooth pulled and i was so nervous. Well they were so nice and calm with me and explained in detail everything they were doing - got to listen to great music. It was so much less invasive and scary than I thought it would be. Again Dr. Vella and his staff are wonderful and really care about their patients. I wrote this 4 years ago and am adding to it because I am having trouble leaving a new one. I just had a tooth pulled and Dr. Vella and Natalia were wonderful. It was harder on Dr. V than me because my tooth did not want to come out. If you have to have this procedure please see Dr. Vella and his awesome staff. You will be glad you did - I promise.

The entire staff at Vincent Vella's office is amazing. My family has been coming here for many years and we have had the highest level of service here that we have ever know. The entire staff is skilled, gentle, clean, and amazing. Today I had Jen as a hygentist and she did a wonderful job; I always leave the office with a clean mouth and no pain.
