Dr. Villalons name is most easily pronounced like be alone but with a V, or just call him Dr. Ben as the kids like to refer to him. Dr. Villalon began his dental career as a pediatric dental resident at Texas Childrens Hospital. Since then he has been in a private practice for over 20 years. He specializes in dentistry for children to provide healthy smiles. Dr. Villalon has been happily married for over 25 years. He enjoys traveling in his free time and spending time with family.
Dr. Callis completed her undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University and then earned her dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry. She completed her pediatric residency training at Childrens Medical Center in Dallas, Texas focusing on the special needs and treatments available to children. Dr. Callis became board certified in 2009, and she serves as Clinical Assistant Professor at The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston. As a native Houstonian, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, traveling, and savoring new cuisines.
Dr. Menchaca was born and raised right here in Sugar Land. He graduated from The University of Texas at Austin and later earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Dentistry. He completed his specialty training in pediatric dentistry at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Dentistry. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his family and friends, taking advantage of the Houston theaters, and playing with his two dogs, Milo and Coco.
Yvette has been a member of our team since 1989 serving as the Office Manager. She is a former dental assistant and has been in the dental field for over 30 years specializing in general dentistry, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Yvette has two handsome sons, Benjamin and Nicholas. She loves dogs, especially her Shih Tzu, Bella, and Chihuahua, Chuy.
Sadia received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Hartwick College in 2010 and completed her Dental Hygiene degree from Lone Star College Kingwood in 2013. She has over three years experience starting with general dentistry and periodontics extending to pediatric dentistry. Sadia is married with a young son. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with family, travel and try new restaurants.
Casey graduated from Wharton County Junior College and has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2014. Casey is passionate about helping kids and does so through pediatric dentistry. She loves to spend time outdoors with her husband, her adorable daughter and her two dogs. Some of her favorite outdoor activities are fishing, hunting and visiting the beach.

Dr Villalon and Dr. Callis are awesome. They both has great bedside manners and are very patient with the kids. The office staff are also pleasant and friendly. The office is very kid friendly and they offer the kids a small prizes before rhey leave. I have loved my kids experience at this dental office.

My three children have been here since they were young. I wish they could have started here when they were much younger. The whole experience has been totally awesome! The front desk staff all the way to the dental assistants. Dr. Villalon and Dr. Callis are two OUTSTANDING professionals in their craft as Dentist and Orthodontist! The care you receive here is phenomenal! Great beginnings yields a great adult finish. The kids are taught how to protect and care for their teeth in between visits. They are the Best we have encountered! Can't beat Villalon/Callis if you tried!

This dentist is perfect. I am always greeted with a smile and they are so professional. I drive 2 hours just to get the service I get for my daughter dental. Everything clean so home feeling. They have a game room to keep kids busy while waiting. This dentist is perfect and I will always be a supporter and a patient. They educate you on how to keep your teeth clean and the staff is nothing less than Amazing!!!! I am not an easy person to please when it comes to my child and customer service. I don't have any complaints and if you want to be treated equally and nice this is the dentist you should go to!!

Dr. Villalon is unprofessional and rude. Instead of helping me and my son with the steps needed to take to get him braces he said he isn't helping us/doing his braces. My son had an injury to his front teeth; his two front teeth are weakened from falling on his face when he was a toddler. After saying that he walked out. My son was so confused and upset. Do not recommend this place. Dr. Malhmann in Richmond is the doc to see for braces. I highly recommend him!!!

VCPD has been absolutely wonderful when working with my kiddos. I have never experienced any negative situations and/or issues with them. They're very kind, gentle and welcoming. The employees have always been very thorough and patient during their performances. I have been going to this dentistry for about 7 years. I wish they had dentist places for adults this pleasant.

We are from Alaska first of all this is the most amazing office for little children ever! They have a movie theater they have T v's in every room to keep your little ones occupied off of their teeth! They gave her a prize bag a dental assistant was amazing her name was Karen miss Karen and doctor Callis was amazing as well!She greeted my 5 year old like a real princess Amazing first experience

I can totally see why this place has such low ratings (see Yelp)! Worst customer service ever. I scheduled appointments for both my kids and when we went in for our appointments they said they cancelled it because they "texted" me a link to new patient forms and I never sent them back. Well maybe that's because I never received a text (we went through my messages together). Also who cancels an appointment without so much a phone call or email? They have both on file. One would think with such bad ratings they'd welcome an opportunity with new patients to turn it around.

I've brought my children here since my oldest was 3 he is now 19. They changed my 7 yr olds outlook on the dentist. I can never say enough amazing things about this dental practice.

I have been visiting this dentist for 4 years now. I started with one child there around 6 months and now have a total of three under their care with the youngest being 7 months old. I can't even begin to put in words what an amazing experience it has been. Dr. Menchaca has been so great with my autistic son and even performed his oral surgery when he was desperately in need of care. He does so well with all of my kids and I feel confident in referring others to him. The office is always clean and welcoming. They always provide me with extensive knowledge regarding caring for my children's teeth outside of the office. I'm extremely grateful for all that they continue to do for our family. They go above and beyond and deserve to be recognized for all of their hard work and dedication.

Parents run away from them, their medical license should be taken away. They not supposed to work with kids. What they did to my daughter its just nightmares, they put 14 crowns without discussing with me. I agree for 5 tooth treatments. When they start they just take advantage of the parents while they worried about they child and keep adding without any discussion.

Do yourselves a favor. Do not come to this place. There are hundreds of reasons why and you will only find out once you start getting ripped off by this place. I had bad experiences with their office staff, space will not fit the description. Stay away by all means. I wish I read the reviews before coming to this place. I had similar experiences from the reviewers written. This place is all about getting your money. Don't ever ever fall for it like me. Wish I knew sooner.

I copied one of the reviews I've read. This is true. Stay away from this BUSINESS. Read because I reviewed some of the claims they filed for my daughters and it is true how they overcharge the clients for out-of-pocket and will double the claim on the insurance. I got ripped-off too! Here's an example of one of the reviews : "This practice is DECEITFUL and SHADY! Beware! I have been going to Villalon for years for my oldest child without any issues. I added my daughter to my dental insurance in hopes to have a great first appointment with the same practice. When I made the appointment almost 2 months in advance, I asked if they still had my insurance information and if that was still accepted. I even made sure by asking them to read my member ID number to make sure it was accurate. When I arrived, they asked for a copy of my dental insurance which I provided before the appointment, this is in addition to already providing this information via their online paperwork. My daughter had a great exam... she's only 2 so this was to really ease her experience for dental visits. Dr. Manchaca examined her teeth, was told everything looked great and she had no cavities. He brushed and flossed her teeth and put a "vitamin paste" which I'm assuming is fluoride once she was done. When I went to check out, the receptionist charged me $212! I was completely in shock and taken aback as she has full benefits under my insurance and this was truly preventative care. I asked why I was charged this much, and the receptionist replied..."well, your insurance may be giving you a check". I then replied with "what's changed? I've never had to pay this before with my son on the same plan." She replied with "well your son was seen in December 2019, so maybe your plan changed this year". This made 0 sense and at lthis point, my daughter was whiny and drooling with the paste in her teeth, so I reluctantly paid and left. I emailed my dental insurance that night and called Villalon the next morning to inquire abt my billing. The billing manager called me back and told me that I was actually out of network as they did not renew the contract for 2020 and that I was overcharged, but will refund me abt half--$103! They upcharged or doubled their prices to exceed max payout from the insurance company and told me "insurance didn't pay for everything" It is extremely shady to proceed with services without notifying the patient that they are out of network!!!! They had my information well ahead of time and not even once, did they call or interrupt the visit to notify me of the changes. I have been a manager for an optometry practice and am now a medical provider and what Villalon is doing is extremely deceitful business practices. Patients out of network should be notified ahead of time so they can make the decision to cancel or proceed with the appt with the understanding and agreement of self-pay pricing. In addition, their website was advertising their $99 promotion for new patients including exam, x-ray, and fluoride treatment. Soo I basically was charged double that ($212), even though my daughter never received x-rays. They completely up charge everything to my insurance company so they could double dip-- get basically the same self-pay promotion out of pocket from me, then bill my insurance which paid them over $100 as well (I received a copy of my claim). Unbelievable. Stay away!" IF THERE's ZERO RATING I WOULD HAVE PUT ZERO

I have a family of 6 and have been coming to Dr Callis and Villion For some years now. Selecting these outstanding doctors and staff was the best decision we could have made. I have a special needs child and they have every special skills needed to help with him. They are kind, friendly and loving office.they have also assisted us with dental surgery that 2 of our children needed that was out patient.. the only thing I don't like is the scheduling however I'm sure it's due to the amount of patients they have and their protocol when it comes to insurance and rescheduling or not being able to be seen right away or worked in in a timely manner for an emergency due to insurance change. Because the verification is done by 3rd party
