An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I had a chipped tooth restored and exactly 6 months later the restoration just fell off. I wasn't even eating, just sitting there and it came off. I called to see about this being fixed and the dentist apparently didn't work there anymore. The receptionist said to me, "we don't have an appointment for 2 weeks but the other location, maybe can get you in". What the!?? So I called the other location to see if they could "maybe" get me in and no they didn't have appointments in a reasonable time frame either. So now I'll have to go someplace else and get my tooth restored and pay again. They advertise that they're available for emergencies but nope they're not even willing to fix their own failed restoration.

Best experience in years. Dr. Mallavarapu and Marissa were wonderful. After avoiding the dentist for two years because of bad experiences, this office was a pleasant surprise.

What an incredible place! I usually have a lot of dental anxiety which makes it hard for me to go to the dentist in general. But, from the very moment I walked in and was greeted by Talia and knew I was in good hands. Talia is super at the front desk, very professional and an absolute joy! I also witnessed right away the amount of respect the team members at Village West all have for each other and I could tell that they truly enjoy working with one another and love what they do. Manssa was my Dental Assistant and one of the best DA I have ever had! She took time to explain to me everything she was doing which was appreciated and put me at ease. She is very kind and professional and took care of with such excellence! Dr. Malla was my Dentist and treated me with with such care and compassion. She is absolutely incredible. I know and believe with everything in me that she genuinely cares for her patients! She went above and beyond all my expectations to treat my individual needs. She even gave up her lunch in order to care for me and take more time treating me. I just cannot express enough, that if you are looking for a dentist, you need to look no further! I am so grateful for the whole team at Village West Dentistry. Thank you!

My teenage daughter and I have had an amazing experience today. We absolutely love the dr. He was funny and charming. I was nervous going in but he made us feel very comfortable. Can't wait to continue our journey with village west Dentist. Highly recommend.

This place is amazing!!! From the moment you walk in you're greeted by friendly helpful faces. The benefits coordinator Caitlin made sure that I was taken care of before and after my visit. Dr. Mallavarapu was informative and made sure I understood what needed to be done and why. I generally hate going to the dentist but I love this place!

Great team from the reception staff to the doctors. I used Dr. Moore, Dr. Popped and can't forget Dr. Linius. All great, helpful, happy staff and environment. Very knowledgeable with insurance and did a great job with my implant! Thank you for such awesome service.
