Cherrie has been a part of our dental office for nearly two full decades so far, and her overall career in the field spans almost 40 years! As a hygienist, she loves being able to meet amazing patients each day while also taking good care of their oral health. She has advanced training in local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, and diode laser dentistry.
Michelle has been a part of the dental world for over 15 years so far, with most of that time spent right here at our dental office. A San Diego native, what she enjoys most about her job is an easy answer the patients! Educating them about oral health and seeing the positive differences it makes at their next visit is always so rewarding. She is trained in diode laser dentistry, local anesthesia, and nitrous oxide.
Michelle and her spouse have two children and one special fur baby. When she isnt busy caring for teeth, you can often find her camping, traveling, discovering new places to eat, and binge-watching reality shows/K-dramas!
Roxannas dental career covers nearly five years so far. She always goes the extra mile to help our patients smile brighter! She is trained in sealants, coronal polishing, radiology, and infection control.
Outside of work, Roxanna recently got engaged and has two dogs named Nala and Millie at home. In her spare time, shes always up for a shopping trip to target or Bath & Body Works! She also enjoys hiking with her fianc and siblings, watching movies, and eating strawberry ice cream.
Dr. Barajas has been practicing dentistry in Chula Vista for more than 30 years, and he says the best thing about his job is treating patients over a long period of time. Getting to know someone and seeing how their health and quality of life improve thanks to his dentistry is the most rewarding experience in the world. While at Orange Coast College, I was trying to decide on a career. A family member took the time to talk with me about his dental career. He offered me the opportunity to shadow him at his dental office. I was intrigued immediately by the entire atmosphere of the dental office, from the interaction with patients and staff to the clinical aspect of care. I have a natural tendency to like organizational procedures and checklists, and of course, the variety of instruments and devices in dentistry intrigued me. I saw immediately how dentistry would fulfill a multitude of my interests. The detail in dentistry and my natural tendency towards perfectionism fit well together. Dr. Eric Barajas
After attending Orange Coast College and Long Beach State, Dr. Barajas enrolled in the UCLA School of Dentistry. Since earning his dental degree all those years ago, he has remained dedicated to continuing education in order to stay on top of the latest breakthroughs in dentistry. To date, he has completed countless courses focusing on subjects such as dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, TMJ therapy, sleep apnea therapy, operative dentistry, non-odontogenic pain, STA anesthetic, and more.
A proud California native, Dr. Barajas has been married for 33 years, and he and his wife have three sons as well as a rescue dog named Lexi. In his free time, Dr. Barajas likes to garden, ski, hike, do CrossFit, and take on big home improvement projects. He actually has a koi pond that he designed and built himself! He is also a bit of an audiophile and has an extensive collection of vinyl.

Absolutely amazing staff. Was seen the same day I called. Was able to schedule extraction same week. Office and doctor Barajas are amazing! Highly recommend this office!!!!

The staff is fantastic. I am so grateful for their hospitality and expertise. I wish I knew their names but the dentist assistant or hygienist (I'm not sure of her title) she is so sweet. I got a cleaning today. She remembers details of my life that I told her in the past. She did a fantastic job. My teeth look a whole lot cleaner then they did when I came in. She could tell I was brushing too hard and not flossing. She demonstrated how to brush properly making sure to use the same brush head I have at home. She gave me extra floss. She even took pictures of my teeth so I can see what she sees so I could improve on my dental hygiene. I can tell she really cares. Same for Dr.Barajas it's apparent he cares about his patients he has called me after visits to make sure I'm okay. I appreciate them so much. They have done miracles on my teeth, I've had so many cavities throughout the years on my front teeth as well and you can't even tell thanks to them. I am a lot more confident in my smile after their care. I've been coming for years at least 5 and their staff is fantastic. I haven't had a bad experience here. The receptionist is accommodating and friendly as well. I hope I never have to go anywhere else.

Village Walk Dental has been the best place I have been to so far. Dr. Eric Barajas and his team each get 5 stars! I have anxiety when it comes to the dentist and I really appreciate that they go over every step they will be doing and explain what they did. Also, very thorough! I'm so glad my friend recommended them! I am going to be a patient for life!

I had 5 visits to Village Walk Dental. The last visit was for a night guard. At the 1st visit, they noticed this will be covered by my insurance, but at my last visit they said it is not covered and I need to pay for an additional $456. It is really cheating !!!
