Lincolnshire dentist, Dr. Dmitry Sokol grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago and attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison for his undergraduate work in science and economics. He was accepted for early admission to the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, where he earned a bachelors of science degree in dentistry in 1994, and became a doctor of dental surgery (DDS) in 1996. Prior to graduation, Dr. Sokol completed various externships in advanced surgical and dental studies. After graduation, he attended Northwestern University, where he completed a hospital-based general practice residency program in 1997. Since finishing his postgraduate studies, Dr. Sokol has practiced dentistry in the Chicago area and in Lincolnshire, Illinois since 2001.
Our Lincolnshire dentist attends continuing education courses in dental implants, dental sleep medicine, and Invisalign to stay informed of the newest techniques, technology, materials, and procedures. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois Dental Society, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and Academy of Laser Dentistry. Dr. Sokol is licensed to practice in the states of Illinois and California.
Dr. Sokol and his wife Vicky have been married for over 20 years, and they have two children. Vicky is a registered nurse working in the aesthetics field, providing Botox and dermal filler treatments. Vicky, Aesthetics by Viktorya, is happy to see our cosmetic patients and help beautify their smiles.
I highly recommend Dr. Sokol. He is a true artist when it comes to dentistry. I would NEVER go to another dentist. I have been a patient of his for over 10 years and trust him with my life. He genuinely cares about each patient and has done amazing work on my teeth. Everyone I have recommended him to has thanked me.
Laura has been working in the dental field since 2003. She worked as a hygiene assistant for 4 years, before joining Dr. Sokols team in 2007. Laura is our practice manager whom oversees all day-to-day operations. There is nothing she cant handle!
Laura puts her heart into everything she does in the office. She looks forward to catching up with patients, as they have become friends over the years. Her hard work and commitment makes her invaluable to the practice.
She has been an active member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association and Illinois Dental Hygienists' Association since 1974 and served as the Placement Chairperson for North Suburban Dental Hygienists' Society from 1983 through 1987.
As past president of Riverside Foundation Auxiliary, Sandy has participated in in-service dental hygiene seminars with the staff of theresidential facility for developmentally disabled adults in Lincolnshire, to improve the oral health of their clients...
Our hygienist Pam, who has been with us since 2016, grew up in the northern suburbs. She earned her dental hygiene degree from Parkland College. Pam has been a hygienist for over 30 years and brings her extensive knowledge and compassion for patients to our office. She loves helping patients achieve optimal dental health through education and confidence building. In addition, she attends continuing education seminars and keeps up on all the new techniques and dental products.
Anna grew up in Poland and has been in the US since 2001. She graduated from Bogomolets National Medical University in 1991, and has been working at Village Green Dentistry since 2009 as a chairside dental assistant. Anna and her family live near the Lincolnshire office. She attends many continuing education courses in both Poland and the US. Her hobbies include: biography books, traveling, and cooking. Anna is very dedicated to her work, and Dr. Sokol is lucky to have her by his side during complex cases.
BryAnna has been working in the dental field since 2016. Before moving to IL, she lived in Indianapolis with her husband Jordan and worked at a high end dental practice. She recently moved to the North Shore and has been with Village Green Dentistry since 2019.

Village Green is the place and Dr. Sokol is the DENTIST. They use technology extremely well. And they are perfectionists in the practice of dentistry. They don't make mistakes and they don't hire amateurs. At anything. Long-term dental and health care strategists that hear every word you say. Real problems to fix: cool. Enjoying a period of good health: cool. Very Good Business. Oh how I wish I could find doctors that think like Village Green does.

I have been going to them since the 1990's (was referred by another patient). During Covid, the office took it seriously with specific protocol. I felt reassured.

I get the most unbelievable care at Village Green Dentistry in Lincolnshire. I have been a patient only a short period of time and my cleanings and visits are among the best I have experienced at a Dental Practice. Very Professional and courteous staff who are not looking to "upsell" you on things you may not need at this time. Nice office as well.

I had a minor issue with an implant (6 years old) and I called the office to see if I could come in and have it looked at. They were able to get me in the same day and quickly corrected the problem. Should be good for 6 more years. You don't get that kind of service everywhere!

Dr Sokol is absolutely wonderful. He's the only reason I'm no longer afraid of dentists (don't judge, deep down everyone is ). He takes care of your teeth with the gentlest touch and is patient in explaining things and answering any questions.

Going to the dentist is probably one of the least favorite experiences that most people take part in on a regular basis. Why not make it as pleasant as possible? You can do that if you go to Village Green Dentistry and see Dr. Sokol and his hygienist, Pam. You will not find a friendlier, more caring, and conscientious duo to care for your teeth. with advanced, state of the art technology and amazing personalities, you might even enjoy going to your dentist! I have unfortunately experienced huge ordeals and horrific trauma in the past with my teeth. I would highly recommend the Village Green Dentistry practice to anyone who's anxiety rises at the thought of seeing a dentist.

Prompt, polite, very careful with the anti CCP Bat Flu Virus protocol and hygiene measures (very thorough). Excellent facilities and very current technology for xray and other state of the art diagnostics. Anna was excellent and friendly. Dr. Sokol is highly recommended

Our family has been going to Dr. Sokol at Village Green Dentistry for a number of years and have received great service. Even when our kids moved downtown, they continue to come back for appointments there. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!
