My experience has been great. Dr.Frank makes me feel comfortable, his staff is friendly and helpful. I needed a lot of dental work done and Dr. Frank was patient and nice to me. I plan to stay his patient for a very long time.

I recommend Everyone to Dr. Esfandiari because his office is very welcoming and I always feel comfortable when I'm there. Last week I had an emergency pain and dr. Esfandiari made himself available to take care of me on a Sunday which was so nice of him.

Dr. Esfandiari is a gem. His facilities are clean and his staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Esfandiari genuinely cares for his patients. He provides the best dental care I have ever recived. I had really bad decay on the front of my teeth, Dr. Esfandiari restored them and now im smiling again :)

This dentist is amazing! I was so scared of the dentist that I hadn't been to one for over 8 years and he finally made me feel comfortable enough to get my teeth fixed. He was also great with my kids too and they love him.

Dr. Frank was very kind, explained what he was doing and his office staff were very pleasant and seemed down to earth and engaging. I would definitely recommend giving Dr. Frank and his staff a shot at being your family dentist office.

His staff is great. Nancy his dental assistant is awesome, super nice. Thank you for letting my sister come with me during visit, really did help me plus all the laughter. If you are in need of a great dentist, Dr Frank is it. He's honest, compassionate, understanding and very funny. Thank you again Dr Frank and Nancy :)

Bruhhhhh! Best dentist period. If you don't go to village family dentist you're basic and your teeth be funky. On the real professional fast and the head dentist is the best and most honest I've worked with.

Thank you Dr. Frank and Esther for the warmest and professional hospitality. I unfortunately had to get a tooth extracted yet didn't feel a thing. They make you feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Greatest Dentist ever.

Unfortunately will never be returning to this location, front desk was kind.. and so was dental assistant but i personally didn't have a great experience with Dr.Esfandiari.. I came here because of the few good reviews he has. I felt like he has lost passion for his job. I've gone to Vista Real Dental in Oxnard my whole life and they are amazing, their cleanings are great.. Dr.Esfandiari did my cleaning in like 5 min, I've never had a cleaning that fast... and my mouth was in extreme pain I could not even talk to tell him to stop. I was in shock.. I left and my mouth kept bleeding and constantly had to spit it out. It's been 8 hours since my appt and my mouth is still super sore and in so much pain.. I also have a headache from the pain.. That has never happened to me. I was in a rush and didn't have time to explain how horrible my experience was but definitely won't go back.. I wish them the best but if you read this far, please stay away from this location, seems like they do not care for their customers. Now i know why people are so afraid of the dentist and it's because of experiences like this... God bless

As someone who's had a life-long fear of dentists, I was completely relaxed here and Dr. Frank and his staff were more than kind and gentle. I'm glad I found Dr. FRANK!

Pretty good dentist and he helped me with achy wisdom.tooth is finally out. They take PPO insurance and most dental insurance companies. It's a cozy place to see a dentist in East Ventura.

This is only my 2nd time writing a negative review for a business, but my experience with Family Village Dentistry was such that I couldn't but write one. I needed to see a dentist for an emergency need (to fix my loose retainer). Scheduling was easy and quick, they gave me an appointment just a few days away. The first thing you sense when you walk in is that no one is making any effort to provide a pleasant customer service, it was a very plain and unexciting first-time patient greeting.Despite me providing both my ID and insurance card to the front desk personnel, my last name was misspelled. After the technician took a set of 4 X-rays, Dr.Esfandiari walked in, and very quickly said his name while looking at the screen and started immediately " telling me " what is going to be done on me. While rushing to leave the room he asked the technician to take the full set of X-rays ( Which is about 18 images ), he said it's needed in order for the insurance to cover my root canal procedure that is going to be done on one of my molars. After I was done with all my X-rays, he walked back in and said " I CAN'T do the root canal, you need to go to a specialist! ". This is when my suspicion started. I asked " I thought you said you needed the full set of X-rays in order for the insurance to cover the procedure, how come you are saying now it can't be done? ", he replied " Well, we needed the images anyway for the deep cleaning". I asked " What's the medical reason behind it? I've done cleanings before without X-rays?", he replied " I'm the doctor and I'm here to educate you! If you can't pay the cash price of $1500 at a specialist, I can TRY to help you and DO IT ANYWAY!". Up to this point I'm still trying to give all the excuses I can to justify such behavior, until he said for the 3rd time since he saw the images " You need to floss! I can tell you don't floss" despite me writing in my patient chart that I floss after each meal, and I said it VERBALLY to him twice. This is when I took my napkin off, got up, and said " I don't want to continue treatment, you are not even actively listening to me or respecting what I have to say. Thank you and have a good day!" . Then I asked for a copy of my X-rays. He didn't even attempt to understand what he did wrong or why I was upset, he simply just walked out and got on the phone like NOTHING even happened! I can't but mention that he constantly interrupted my speech the whole time since I first saw him until I walked out. While I'm waiting for the front desk personnel to email me my X-rays, and while he is on the phone, he says " Even if we give you the X-rays, any other dentist you go to will ask you to do them all over again! ". I replied " I'm done discussing things with you, so thank you and have a nice day! ", before I even finished my sentence he shushed me and said " get out, now!". I restated that I'm waiting for the images, and just sat there while him and his front desk personnel were yelling and asking me to leave, which I eventually did after I saw the email had come through! I was treated with such arrogance, lack of professionalism, and great disrespect. I am a health care professional as well, and this is nothing to do with genuine health care, nor professionalism. Patient respect, bedside manner, and active listening are some of the ABC's of health care! You can never belittle patients using the excuse of educating them! The patient has the right to ask questions, and understand WHY things are being done! I don't want to question his medical judgment, but I can confidently say that he was willing to perform a procedure on me - the root canal - that he said earlier it MUST me done by a specialist due to the complexity of the case! My appointment was a few days ago, so this is not an emotional outburst! This is a story of an unsatisfied patient, that is both disappointed for the poor level of care and lack of respect, and extremely frustrated that my need wasn't satisfied.

Dr. Frank is the best dentist in the whole county. Period! We love him. My whole family goes to him now. He has two offices. One in East Ventura, one in Thousand Oaks across from the Janss Mall. He works in both offices. Go see him. You will be so happy.

I used to work in the Dental field so I know exactly how Dental offices operate as well as providers and Dr.Frank's office is different. It feels different as soon as you walk in. What makes it stand out is the personal attention you receive and how comfortable they make you feel by just being themselves. It's honestly like getting your dental work done at home. I've been seeing him for a couple years now & I absolutely appreciate him & his staff very much.

Dr. Frank Esfandiari is kind and informative. I appreciated his candor and his skill to make sure I felt zero pain during my root canal and tooth extraction. He answered all my questions during a time of high stress (Covid-19 pandemic) with care and zero annoyance. His staff is friendly and kind.

Not a fan of dentists so I was way overdue. The staff was great and the dentist was very patient and understanding. No pain at all and no discomfort. Glad I found them!!
