Ashley was very professional, pleasant and thorough. Cost seemed to go way up from previous visits, though.

Wish the periodontist was there too but it's a very thorough examination and I believe the doctor will do a good job hopefully

Had Dr Smith fill a cavity this morning. He did an amazing job, and made me feel very comfortable for something that I wasn't all that comfortable with doing. Not a fan of needles. He has a great distraction filter...ask him about it

This review is for me , not my wife Joy. Village Dental is the best. Have had a number of procedures done by them from cleaning (Chevis) to crowns and extractions (Dr. Hall). Have always been totally satisfied. Would highly recommend them for any of your dental needs. Jan Larimer

I will first start by saying that i am terrified of dentists, not only because of the needles and sharp pointy dental utensils used, but also due to a bad experience i had the last time i went to a dentist many years ago. So when i got a bad deep cavity that exposed a nerve and became infected i had no choice but to find a dentist to remove the bad tooth. I did a google search of dentists in the area and read the reviews. I understand now why Village Dental has such wonderful reviews. I called them to see if i could get an emergency dental appointment and they told me to come in right away. They have 3 offices and the one that could see me right away was the one the furthest away, but that didn't matter since i was in so much pain. Let me say that it was well worth the extra distance! The staff and Dr. Smith were wonderful. I explained my fear of dentists and step by step they explained what they were doing from taking the x-rays, explaining the x-ray pictures, and also the options of tooth extraction to root canal and gave me prices of each option. I chose to just extract the tooth. Dr. Smith was able to do the extraction while i was there. I can say that he was very gentle and kept asking me if i had any pain. I did not even feel the needle used to numb my mouth. He extracted the tooth, sewed up the opening, and even called me personally that afternoon to see how i was doing and if i had any questions. It is now a day later and i still have no pain from the procedure! As a person who was terrified of dentists i will now say that i have a great dentist to go to for regular dental maintenance. Going to see him and his wonderful staff will be well worth the extra distance to his office. Thank you again Dr. Smith and staff for making my visit and procedure a good and painless experience for me.

I've been going to Village Dental since moving to The Villages 10 years ago. Here's why: within weeks of moving here I had, what turned out to be, an abscess under a crown. EXTREMELY painful! I phoned and walked into several dental practices. Each one sated, FIRST, they would need to do a cleaning and full X-ray's, all of which had been done the month before, prior to moving to The Villages. When I went to Village Dental their concern was my pain and they worked me in the following morning. I have complete confidence in Dr. Hall AND my hygienist, Brittany is OUTSTANDING. On a scale of 1-5, I rate them both 5 stars.

My experience with Village Dental has been nothing but positive. Dr. Hall spent time with me- carefully going over my treatment plan. He and his assistant Precious- worked well as a team while he prepared my teeth for a temporary bridge. He had me return after I had a tooth extracted. When I returned for the installation of the temporary bridge- Precious was very patient and very caring- in making sure that the bridge fit well and that it felt comfortable. She is truly precious! My teeth were very ably cleaned by Hygienist Kelley. She also worked with me on the chair position to accommodate me. Stephanie was very helpful in explaining the treatment plan and how it would progress. The entire staff is very kind and helpful and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Kudos to Dr. Hall and Village Dental!!

First of all, it can be expensive! I went in for a cleaning and wound up paying over $450 because they threw in several things without asking ( fluoride treatment, cancer check, etc) , so make sure you know exactly what your options are before they start. I went in to have a bridge done and , so far, I'm at about $16,000 because the bridge broke, fractured the tooth, had to be removed, 2 implants put in with crowns, which seem to perfect so far. I've had a few other issues but , to their credit, they have adjusted my bill and taken responsibility for some of the issues. In short, as with any business practice, get your quote in writing and check it to make sure you're being charged correctly.

Best dentist's office I've ever visited. Dr. Smith, Brittany the hygienist, and the entire support staff all went out of their way to make my nervous teen daughter comfortable at every visit. All were knowledgeable and were sure to explain what was needed and why, what was happening as they did it, etc. Excellent care and dental experience from compassionate caregivers. Highly recommended.

Just tried to schedule an appointment here and was told the new patient visit would take 2 hours and only include x-rays and exam. I'd then have to make another appointment for a cleaning. Why would just that take 2 hours? She would not let me schedule the cleaning with the x-rays and exam.
