No matter what questions or concerns you have about dentistry, Dr. Megan Cercek and Dr. Maggie Rodriguez are happy to help and be on your side whenever you visit.
Dr. Cercek has been helping patients from the greater Reno community smile brighter for nearly a decade now, and shes just getting started. Her favorite part of dentistry by far is getting to see the amazing transformations people go through in her treatment chair! Dr. Cercek chose dentistry as her lifelong career because she wanted to have a good work/life balance. She always knew that she wanted to have children, but she ALSO knew that becoming a stay-at-home parent was not for her. Oral healthcare allows her to do something that she truly loves while also leaving plenty of time open for her to spend with family!
Dr. Cercek pursued her undergraduate degree at the University of Arkansas (Woo Pig Sooie!) before studying for her dental doctorate at the University of Louisville. After graduating in 2013, she bought a dental office here in Reno from a retiring dentist and has been in this wonderful city ever since. Today, she is certified in laser dentistry and a Preferred Invisalign Provider. She is also a current member of the American Dental Association, Nevada Dental Association, Northern Nevada Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Cercek and her husband John Eric met while in dental school. He actually proposed to her with a puppy! Today, they have two young children a very inquisitive daughter and a rambunctious son. In her spare time away from work, she enjoys camping, dirt-biking, boating with the family, and gardening of all kinds. She also LOVES cooking! She owns at least 25 cookbooks and once went an entire year without making the same meal twice. As for some interesting tidbits about her, shes weirdly good at playing football and will do almost ANYTHING for a sugar donut from Doughboys.
Ever since she can remember, Dr. Rodriguez has loved working with her hands and meeting new people. She began working in a dental office in her late teens and quickly fell in love with everything about the field. She was able to meet patients from all walks of life and develop lasting relationships with them. It was also really humbling to see bonds of trust form over time as the practice becomes like a second family to those in need. Today, she couldnt imagine having any other job!
After completing her initial degree at the University of Nevada in Reno, Dr. Rodriguez pursued her dental doctorate at the University of Utah School of Dentistry. Before that, she worked as a dental assistant and a front office manager for a dental specialty office in Elko, so she definitely has deep roots in this field! She was also fortunate enough to participate in dental humanitarian trips in the Dominican Republic and the Philippines over the past few years. Today, she is a proud member of the Northern Nevada Dental Society and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Rodriguez is married to Michael, a welder who loves to hunt and golf. They have three dogs at home two calm ones, and another who is an absolute psycho. A few of her favorite hobbies are camping, fishing, gardening (her backyard is full of succulents), reading, cross country skiing, and anything involving Lake Tahoe. Being outdoors as much as possible is important to her, whether shes on an adventure or in complete relaxation mode!

This is the third time I've had my teeth cleaned here, the last two times I had Anya, she's very good. She takes lots of time with me and is very personable. I'm very glad I found Village dental. Specially, Anya.

I was having some major tooth pain and this office was able able to get me in right away after I spent all morning calling other dental offices with no luck. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the first phone call, arriving/checking in, meeting with hygienist/dentist, and check-out, it was a 5 star service. Everyone i encountered today in the office was so nice, so accommodating, explained treatment in a way I could understand, and not to mention, the office is absolutely stunning. I saw Dr. Rodriguez and she was so kind. I highly recommend this office.

We love everyone at Village Dental! They're all so nice and they never try to push products or procedures. My husband and I have been going here for almost 3 years and are super happy with Dr. Cercek's skills and the cleanings by the friendly/talented hygienists.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Everything was easy. Got in to do a cleaning in 2 days, easily billed my insurance, scanned for whitening trays on the spot so I didn't have to go back for a 10 minute appointment. Beautiful facility. Overall wonderful experience. Highly recommend.

The Village Dental staff was amazing and very accommodating. Dr. Maggie was honest and she was attentive to my concerns. Village Dental was flexible when I needed an emergency check up and they consistently communicated with me when it was difficult to schedule appointments with my busy work schedule. I'm not a huge fan of the dentist but Dr. Maggie and the Village Dental team changed that for me. Hands down my best experience and I looked forward to my appointments. I highly recommend Village Dental! Best Dentist office I've been fortunate to be a part of.

Very nice, new dental office. Had a broken molar emergency and it needed to be removed. Amazing staff at Village got me in when no one else could, and got it taken care of. Now I'm Pain-free and on the mend. Thanks guys
