Welcome to Village Complete Dentistry, the office of Blair Edgington, DDS, and her team. This practice was started under the leadership of Steven R. Baker, DDS, who began his dental career in Prairie Village in 1983. He moved to this Corinth location in 1998, where he continued his small, relationship-based practice until Dr. Blair's arrival in 2021. Dr. Blair Edgington is a second-generation dentist hailing from Wichita, KS. She attended Baker University for her undergraduate studies, earning a Biology degree with a minor in English and Art. During her senior year, she was given the opportunity to hold a senior art show, which was typically only offered to art majors. After working with her father and his team she found the perfect mix of two of her passions in dentistry: science and art. She followed in her father's footsteps, receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery from UMKC School of Dentistry.
She received her advanced training through the Dawson Academy and was awarded the title of Dawson Scholar upon completing her curriculum there. Dr. Blair loves helping people of all ages achieve their best, healthiest smiles, giving painless injections, and finding the 'how' and 'why' of malfunction in the mouth.
Shes practiced in the Kansas City area for the past 12 years and lives in nearby Westwood. In her spare time, she enjoys creating pottery, reading, going on family bike rides, and water skiing at Table Rock Lake in the summer. She and her husband, Jason, have four children and an adorable geriatric dog named Gary.
Shayla was born and raised in the Kansas City area and began working as a dental assistant in 2012. Shayla loves being part of an energetic team and enjoys helping create beautiful smiles for our patients. Shayla, together with her husband Tadd, has a stepson and a daughter. They enjoy spending time at the lake, being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with their cat, Bagheera.
Sharon joined the team in 2011 and brings over 15 years of experience to our office. She's at the front desk helping patients with scheduling, coordinating treatment, and making financial arrangements, as well as getting to know every one of our patients on a personal level, and making them feel like theyre a part of our extended family. Sharon and her son have lived in the Prairie Village area for years. She enjoys spending her time with her family and friends, exercising, and reading.
Logan is originally from Nashville, TN. She earned her bachelors degree in dental hygiene from the University of Tennessee in 2013 and has been practicing ever since! She enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them achieve optimal oral health. Outside of work, Logan enjoys being outdoors, staying active, and spending time with her husband Keith and their two dogs, Bailey and Juno.
Kendi grew up in a small central Kansas town before obtaining her bachelors degree in dental hygiene in 2020 at Wichita State University. She enjoys working alongside an enthusiastic team and finding oral hygiene solutions for patients to help establish a healthy mouth. When Kendi isnt working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Braedan, and doing anything and everything with their goldendoodle, Ellie.

Recently moved to the area and just had my first visit and so glad I found Dr. Blair and her team! they are very warm and thorough and it's such a relief to find a dentist as good as my previous one.

Dr Blair is honest and super skilled at dentistry. She will tell you exactly what she sees going on and tell you what your options are if there's a problem. She a true doctor-dentist. I will only see her in all dental care.

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Blairs for almost 10 years, and she has always been very friendly and professional. She has shown great patience with my children, especially when they were young, and first timers at the dentist. Also, her staff is very welcoming and helpful with any questions you might have. Anytime someone is looking for a new dentist, I always recommend Dr. Blair!!

I have been a patient of this dental practice headed by Steve Baker for literally decades!!!! It is always a phenomenal experience considering you are at the dentist! Most of my friends dread going to the dentist, but not me. Whether I am having a cleaning by a hygienist or a crown by Dr. Baker, I always leave this dental office feeling great! One of the things I like the best is that he makes getting a crown a 1 visit procedure with no temporary needed!!! I would highly recommend Dr. Baker and his staff!

I felt so welcomed by Sharon getting set up for an appointment over the phone and checking in the day of. Logan the hygienist was super gentle with her cleaning and Dr. Blair's care was excellent. I felt very comfortable, and our whole family now sees her for each of our visits.

Dr Baker is a well qualified, and has very good "bedside manner". He fully explains what he is going to do and why, and invites questions. The assistants are also very professional . I would highly recommend him for dental work .

Dr. Baker is the best dentist by far. He provided a mouthguard to help me remove headaches and general tension caused by grinding teeth at night and he explains the reasons behind any issues that may come up with my teeth. His staff is also amazing -- from Sharon at the front desk who is very helpful with scheduling around my busy schedule to the hygiene team who do a great job of cleaning. I couldn't ask for a better dentist office!!

I came here because my own dentist of many years had missed some major things. Dr. Baker helped correct my teeth and guided me on what I needed to do. He is very personable. Has a wonderful laid back demeanor. I never dread to go see him and his staff. You can trust him. I have even consulted him on my young daughter's endodontic needs concerning a crown. I needed to be reassured from someone I trusted. And, I love his bedside character.
