Ive worked in the Glen Allen community for 35 years ten years as a general dentist and 25 years as an orthodontist. I was always fascinated with science and medicine in particular and all things mechanical. I was drawn to dentistry because it incorporates all of these so seamlessly.
In order to keep current withever-changing technologies in the orthodontic field, I take more than twice the required hours of continuing education required by the state. It is imperative for me to provide my patients with the newest and most cutting-edge techniques in orthodontic care to achieve the best, longest-lasting results.
To that end, Im involved in a number of local study groups, such as the Richmond Dental Society and the Richmond Orthodontic Study Club. I also attend formal continuing education courses put on by various orthodontic companies such as Invisalign, as well as courses offered by the American Association of Orthodontists and the Southern Association of Orthodontists.
The doctor alone doesnt make the practice. It takes a team. My team works like a well-oiled machine. Teams require certain personalities that work well together. They require people who are proficient in their jobs. They require experience and longevity. My team has all of these qualities and is exceptional at what they do. Some of our team members have been with us for over 20 years. Now thats what I call loyalty!
I enjoy spending time with my wife Tiffany, my two grown boys and two girls, as well as our dog and two cats. When we are not at a soccer game or gymnastics or a dance recital, my wife and I like traveling, cooking, and hiking. We are also active contributors to many local school athletic and arts programs.

I work hard to ensure our clinic operations run smoothly. In addition to assisting Dr. Villa with patient care, I take diagnostic images, offer patient education, and handle our inventory. I also help with scheduling and answering phones, too.
When Im not working, I treasure time with my husband of more than 20 years and my cat. My husband and I have two adult sons: the oldest graduated from VMI and is a first lieutenant in the Army, the youngest is in college at VCU, and I love being involved in their lives. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends and crocheting.

I spend my days in the clinic, where I take patient records and diagnostic X-rays, and assist Dr. Villa with replacing wires and other procedures. I also offer a lot of education and encouragement, so you finish with a beautiful smile and the knowledge to keep it healthy.
My husband Willie and I were married in October 2017. I have a daughter, Sydney, who is almost 18; and a young puppy, Harley, who is full of mischief! I enjoy going to the gym and love being near the water or on the boat during the summer. I also love riding Willies motorcycle.

Almost 10 years ago upon my first braces consult, I saw several orthodontists that suggested I had jaw surgery with my mouth wired shut for 6 months to treat an anatomical balance. For my final consult, I saw Dr. Villa that assured me he could make me love my smile without the surgeries. His laid back, yet professional and knowledgeable demeanor instilled my trust in him; and he definitely delivered!! He boosted my confidence dramatically and I'd recommend him to everyone. I am now back for Invisalign (by my own faults)... Wear your retainers! Or don't.. but make sure you go to Villa Orthodontics for your treatment. Looking forward to seeing the results and working with Dr. Villa and his team again!

We have had three children all go through braces with Villa Orthodontics. Even through Covid, the team there was awesome. I felt like everyone was both professional and "homey"- if that is the right way to put it. I felt almost like family. This is a great practice and we actually did shop around before we committed with our first daughter. They are great.

I'm so grateful I chose Dr. Villa for my orthodontist treatment! He came with a strong referral from my dentist. I am pleased with his work, and he doesn't rest until he's sure my teeth look perfect. Everyone in the clinic is friendly and if I have some of my children with me that day, the staff has always made them feel special too. Would highly recommend, and truly appreciate them.

It's been a wonderful experience so far. Love the staff and the whole office atmosphere ! Dr Villa is very thorough and detail oriented ! He makes sure the end result is nothing but perfect. Two of my kids have been in orthodontics with him and will be taking my 3rd soon as well !! Thanks Villa Orthodontics for providing such superior care from the moment we walk in to the moment we leave ! I highly recommend them not only for kids but adults as well !

My child way in great hands at Dr. Villa's Orthodontist. Progress with the braces was always communicated clearly and each trip was efficient and timely. The staff was always friendly and helpful. I truly appreciate all the did foe my child's teeth.

My first visit at dr villas office was phenomenal. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with cheerful staff. Who informed me of what to expect during my visit. Dr villa was very informative about teeth and what I would need. They are super flexible and no pushy at all. You are fully in control. I couldn't not be happier with villa orthodontics

Love Dr. Villa! When we first saw him he clearly explained what was needed, what our options were, and took time to answer all of our questions. He has also accommodated our complicated schedule for appointments throughout. My oldest kid has a beautiful smile, and my youngest kid is getting there. Highly recommend!
