Ive worked in the Glen Allen community for 35 years ten years as a general dentist and 25 years as an orthodontist. I was always fascinated with science and medicine in particular and all things mechanical. I was drawn to dentistry because it incorporates all of these so seamlessly.
In order to keep current withever-changing technologies in the orthodontic field, I take more than twice the required hours of continuing education required by the state. It is imperative for me to provide my patients with the newest and most cutting-edge techniques in orthodontic care to achieve the best, longest-lasting results.
To that end, Im involved in a number of local study groups, such as the Richmond Dental Society and the Richmond Orthodontic Study Club. I also attend formal continuing education courses put on by various orthodontic companies such as Invisalign, as well as courses offered by the American Association of Orthodontists and the Southern Association of Orthodontists.
The doctor alone doesnt make the practice. It takes a team. My team works like a well-oiled machine. Teams require certain personalities that work well together. They require people who are proficient in their jobs. They require experience and longevity. My team has all of these qualities and is exceptional at what they do. Some of our team members have been with us for over 20 years. Now thats what I call loyalty!
I enjoy spending time with my wife Tiffany, my two grown boys and two girls, as well as our dog and two cats. When we are not at a soccer game or gymnastics or a dance recital, my wife and I like traveling, cooking, and hiking. We are also active contributors to many local school athletic and arts programs.

Outside of work, my family keeps me busy. I am recently married and we have a blended family with four beautiful children and are expecting twins this fall! We love to be adventurous and treasure our time together. Personally, my favorite places are the beach, the Rappahannock River, and the mountains.

I work hard to ensure our clinic operations run smoothly. In addition to assisting Dr. Villa with patient care, I take diagnostic images, offer patient education, and handle our inventory. I also help with scheduling and answering phones, too.
When Im not working, I treasure time with my husband of more than 20 years and my cat. My husband and I have two adult sons: the oldest graduated from VMI and is a first lieutenant in the Army, the youngest is in college at VCU, and I love being involved in their lives. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends and crocheting.

I spend my days in the clinic, where I take patient records and diagnostic X-rays, and assist Dr. Villa with replacing wires and other procedures. I also offer a lot of education and encouragement, so you finish with a beautiful smile and the knowledge to keep it healthy.
My husband Willie and I were married in October 2017. I have a daughter, Sydney, who is almost 18; and a young puppy, Harley, who is full of mischief! I enjoy going to the gym and love being near the water or on the boat during the summer. I also love riding Willies motorcycle.
