Dr. Paulos is a family dentist who grew up and lives in the East Bay Area. He attended the University of the Pacific as an undergraduate, where he double-majored in English and Biology. Then he studied at the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry, where he received his D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) in 1991. Dr. Paulos is an active member of the local dental society where he served as Dental Health and Education Chairman, the California Dental Association where he served in the Council on Community Health, as well as the American Dental Association. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, where he received his Fellowship and Northern California Master Track Study Group. Dr. Paulos serves as the advisory dentist to a skilled nursing facility and senior centers in the local area. Continuing education courses and being active in organized dentistry is a priority to Dr. Paulos. They help keep the dental office current in any new development in dentistry, which reflects on the quality service that Dr. Paulos can provide his patients.
