We provide professional, wide-ranging pediatric dental care including diagnostic examinations, cleanings, fluoride treatments, restoration of decayed teeth, therapeutic pulp treatments, extractions, and treatment of oral trauma. We enjoy educating our child patients and their parents about proper oral hygiene and diet in hopes that they can help prevent future problems.

We use age-appropriate behavior management techniques. We also have the options of nitrous oxide and oral sedation, if needed. General anesthesia provided by an anesthesiologist is another option available in our office.

Because we understand that accidents happen. We commit to being there for our families during the most stressful moments, even if it is outside of normal work hours. While emergency rooms serve as a resource to families, we know that relying on the provider that you have a relationship with is often the best way to work through these stressful moments

We believe that those early dental visits shape a childs future attitude towards dentistry. If we can provide positive experiences in the beginning, and present dentistry to children in ways that are easy to understand, we can reduce or eliminate any dental anxiety. We know we have done our job well when we hear kids say theyre excited to come back!

We have received special training in pediatrics to be able to give you insight into what to anticipate for your childs oral growth and development. Additionally, our training in behavior management and sedation gives us the tools to treat children with special behavioral or medical conditions. This means we are able to tailor our treatment approach specifically to what your child needs.

Dental education and prevention is our passion. As we cultivate good oral hygiene in one child, an amazing phenomenon happens as awareness spreads to the whole family, resulting in better oral health for everyone! When a child is taught and empowered to take proper care of the teeth and gums, being cavity-free for a lifetime is actually possible.

Dr. Aimee was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. At the age of 14, she moved to Washington and attended Kings High School in Shoreline. Dr. Aimee entered University of the Pacifics accelerated honors program for both undergraduate and dental school in California, earning her D.D.S. degree in 2006. To broaden her experience and further her education, Dr. Aimee completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) at Denver Health Medical Center in Colorado. She then worked in a private family practice before specializing in Pediatric Dentistry at UCLA. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

After seeing much of the West Coast, Dr. Aimee decided it was time to come home in 2010. She and her husband have 2 children, and are happy to grow roots in the Kirkland community. On her off days, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing the piano, going on easy hikes, and eating as much ice cream as she can!

Raised in Puyallup, Washington and a Husky faithful (Go Dawgs!), Dr. Kevin McCoy is excited to be serving families in the Pacific Northwest. He has a passion for working with children while having fun and providing the best dental care possible.

After finishing dental school at the University of Washington, Dr. McCoy followed his passion for childrens dentistry by completing two years of specialty training in Dallas, Texas at Baylor College of Dentistry, earning a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry and a Masters in Oral Biology. He also gained extensive clinical and emergency experience at Dallas Childrens Medical Center and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.

In his spare time, Dr. McCoy loves to stay active with sports and outdoors activities. You can find him shooting hoops at the park, hiking trails around the great Northwest, or cheering in his purple and gold at Husky Stadium.
