Dr. David Paino is a native of Long Island, New York. He was a National Honor Society graduate of the University of Delaware and attended the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland, where he graduatednear the top of his class.
He completed a general practice residency, treating our veterans at the Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. There, he received extensive training in oral surgery, implant surgical placement and restoration, rotary endodontics, and cosmetic dentistry including all-ceramic restorations and veneers.
Dr. Paino has had the pleasure of working at Vienna Family Dental since 2005, and he appreciates being pushed to achieve the highest standard of dental care available today. His meticulous attention to detail and extensive knowledge are just a few things that make him a sought-after clinician.
Dr. Paino is Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified and actively participates in continuing education involving all phases of dentistry, including dental sleep medicine, sedation dentistry, Invisalign, CEREC CAD-CAM, and TMJ/occlusal therapy.
Dentistry is a constantly evolving profession and I love keeping up with the latest technology. The modern dentist of today is much different than the dentist of the past. The goal is to take a traditional dental visit and ultimately transcend it to a more enjoyable experience that builds a long lasting relationship.
Dr. Grubic grew up in Northern Virginia with two brothers. He attended Herndon High School where he played football and basketball. Dr. Grubic graduated magna cum laude from Virginia Tech. While there, he completed an internship with his childhood dentist who had relocated to the area to work with the underprivileged. Dr. Grubic realized his passion for Dentistry while seeing how much confidence patients could gain from changing their smiles. He later received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from University of Maryland in 2018, where he was selected his senior year to be an Oral Surgery Clerk.
Since graduating dental school, Dr. Grubic has been a member of Spear Study Club and is especially passionate about esthetic dentistry, root canals, oral surgery and making sure patients are listened to.
Dr. Georges Traboulsi is a board-certified periodontist who visits our office on Mondays and Wednesdays to perform implant and other periodontal related surgeries. He attended St. Josephs University School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Dr. Traboulsi practiced as a general dentist for six years before completing three additional years of training in periodontology and has been practicing as a periodontist for seven years.

Very warm and friendly staff as well as Dr. Piano. Knowledgeable as well as personable, I thought the staff was. Any anxiety that I had prior to my appointment was diminished.

I wish I could leave a 25-star review for Dr. Paino and the entire team at Vienna Family Dental. I initially contacted them for what I thought would be to re-cement a crown. Instead, I needed a tooth extracted immediately and Dr. Traboulsi was able to accommodate me that day. Dr. Paino later worked up an extensive treatment plan to care for my "not-seen-a-dentist-in-8+ years" teeth and oral health. Everyone at the practice, from the front desk, insurance, dental assistants, hygenists, and ALL the dentists, are exceptional in their respective fields. Dr. Paino is a combination of dentist and artist with an ability to explain processes and procedures. He is the first dentist in my five-plus decades of life who has made me happy to visit a dental practice!

We had a wonderful experience at Vienna Family Dental. I called on a Monday morning with a request for a new patient visit after our existing dentist of many years - also in the town of Vienna - had canceled a child's appointment at the last minute because the doctor will not be in the office. VFD were amazing, and got him in on the same day. They also took care of getting his records so that they were able to look at a change since his last examination a year earlier. From the moment we walked in the office felt open, bright, and cheerful. Other people in the waiting room were friendly and talkative. I honestly had never experienced that at our other dentist. VFD gave my son specific instructions on what he needs to do to take better care of his teeth. I was very impressed and will make a change in provider.

If you are looking for a dental office where they care about their patients, do everything for you to feel comfortable, and have a great atmosphere, don't look further. I came to see Dr. Paino in 2021 for a second opinion on a tooth that was questionable if it could be saved. After examining the tooth, Dr. Paino gave his honest opinion and let me make my own decision without any pressure. So different than the last place I was a patient. I ended up switching dentists, and I'm so happy I did. Dr. Paino went way behind my expectation. He took the time to call how I was doing after removing the tooth and when I had the implant put in. He always takes the time to explain everything, gives his undivided attention, is patient, aims for excellence, and treats his assistant and everyone in the office with so much respect I'm happy with all the dental work he has done, the implant, the fillings, new crown. The hygienists, Diane and Tiffany, who have done the cleaning for me, are both excellent. Trish, Lynne, and Nancy are fantastic at handling all the paperwork and scheduling. It feels like they are a big family on a mission to provide the best care for their patients. If I could leave more than 5 I would.

Leona has been my facial injectionist for 10 years. I love it now that I can coordinate my dental cleaning and facial refreshing in one visit. She will keep your treatment as conservative as you want. I love that she respects we are all not cookie cutter and truly personalizes your treatment.

I had a crown come off on a Sunday. I am very dental-phobic and, after researching dental practices, sent an email to Vienna Family Dental the same day. Dr. Piano actually called me the same day; however, my phone did not recognize the number so I did not know he had called. The following day, Monday, Dr. Paino called in the morning and left a message. I immediately returned the call and we made arrangements to come in that day. The staff was very friendly and the dentist (Dr. Grubic) was great. Unfortunately my crown issue developed into a need to remove the underlying tooth and Dr. Grubic was able to arrange a same-day extraction with Dr. Traboulsi. Currently on the mend and planning for future treatment. Everyone I met at the practice gets a virtual hug from me!

Doctors Rudolph and Diana have been my dentist in my wife's dentist for over 10 years we have had excellent experiences with them in major repairs to our Dental situation. Dentists prior to our introduction to Rudolph and piano did not give us the best advice and consequently our teeth were in bad shape when we came to Rudolph and piano. Today's experience was typical of the outstanding excellent service that we received from them thank you very much.
