As a third generation dentist, I feel as though this profession is in my blood. It is my goal as a dentist to create a beautiful smile for each patient I meet, improving their confidence and allowing them to have a better quality of life. Educating patients about the importance of dental care excites me the most, especially when I see the progress a patient makes because of what theyve learned in our office. Whenever I can alleviate pain or fear in the life of a patient, I know Ive done my job successfully.
I began my dental education in Riga, Latvia, before moving to the United States and attending UCLA for my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Since completing my formal education, I have continued to expand my knowledge through participation in continuing education. My patients deserve the best, and continuing education allows me to provide my patients with more options, shorter treatment times, and better results.
I have been a proud member of the Lafayette, CA, community for the past 20 years. My wife and I have three grown children, but our nest is not empty. Our two dogs, cat, and four finches keep us plenty busy. When I have free time, I enjoy swimming, running, camping, and walking my dogs. I also have a great appreciation for art.
