Dr. Okamoto was born and raised in Honolulu, HI. She earned her undergraduate degree in Liberal Studies - Human Sciences from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Shecontinued her studies atthe University of Missouri at Kansas City where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. There she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. She earned her Certificate in Orthodontics as well as a Master's degree in Oral Biology from UCLA.
Dr. Okamoto's professional affiliations include theAmerican Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, California Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Academy for Orthodontic Excellence.
