Dr. Walt Vickers has been providing outstanding dental care since 2003. Dr. Vickers attended the University of Alabama for his undergraduate studies and earned his dental degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Dentistry. Prior to moving to Mobile in 2004, he practiced in Tuscaloosa for two years.
Dr. Vickers stays on the cutting edge of the latest advancements in dentistry through continuing education courses and by maintaining memberships with prestigious organizations such as the American Dental Association, Pierre Fauchard Dental Academy, Alabama Dental Association and the Mobile District Dental Society.
He and his wife, Stormi, have a son, Whit, and a daughter, Annabelle. In his leisure time, Dr. Vickers is an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting, water sports and spending time with his family.
Katie is our Office Coordinator and has been with Dr. Vickers since 2010. She has loved dentistry since 2002, when started in the dental field as a dental assistant. Her and her husband, Daniel, have one daughter, Paisley. She also has two dogs and two cats. In her leisure time she enjoys watching her many favorite television shows, trips to Dauphin Island, boating, trying new restaurants, and hanging out with family and friends.
Heat is our Hygiene/Social Media Coordinator and has been with Dr. Vickers since 2013. Heather started her dental career as a dentist assistant after graduating Fortis College in 2010. Her and her husband, Tom, who is a fireman and paramedic for the Mobile Fire-Rescue Department, have two sons, Jude and River. In her leisure time she enjoys running and spending time outdoors with her family.
Heather is one of our dental hygienist and has been with Dr. Vickers since 2018. Heather started her career in dentistry in 2011 as a dental assistant before receiving her dental hygiene degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2016. In 2021 she also received her certification in local anesthesia. Her and her husband, Cole, have one son, Grady and a Blue Heeler, Sadie. In her leisure time she enjoys spending time at the hunting camp, boating, and with family and friends.
Libby has been with Dr. Vickers since 2017 and is one of our dental hygienist. She began her dental career in 2008 and she received her dental hygiene degree from the University for Alabama at Birmingham in 2011. In 2021 she also received her certification in local anesthesia. Libby and her husband, Johnathan, have two daughters, Kyleigh and Lilly. In her leisure time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to festivals, music, the beach and event planning.
Stephanie has been with Dr. Vickers since 2021 and is one of our dental hygienist. She has been in dentistry since 2005 and received her dental hygiene degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2010. Stephanie was born and raised in Mobile and her and husband, Shannon, have two sons, Ethan and Hayden. In her leisure time she enjoys spending time with family, camping, and boating.
Alexis has been with Dr. Vickers since 2015. She is a dental assistant as well as a dental hygienist. Alexis graduated from the dental assisting program at Fortis College in 2010 and she received her dental hygiene degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2017. Her and her husband, Tre, have a daughter, Allie Rae and a son, Carter. In her leisure time she enjoys bowling and spending time with her family and friends.
Brianna has been with Dr. Vickers since 2018 and is one of our dental assistants. She started her dental career in 2015 and has experience in Periodontics and Orthodontics. Her and her partner, Mason, have one son, Preston. Her leisure time is spent at her sons many sporting events. She also has a gift for interior decorating as you will see when you visit our office.

Our lab produces aesthetic appliances for a variety of dental procedures. These appliances include dentures, crowns, bridges and other prosthetics. After our dentists provide an impression or mold of the patient's teeth, one of our laboratory technicians creates a model of the patient's mouth using plaster molds. The technician then places the model in a device that replicates the bite and movement of the patient's jaw. This model serves as the basis for producing the required appliance(s).
