She prides herself in being able to tailor services to the needs of each individual, armed with skills acquired through 13+ years of experience and the latest educational resources.
Dr. Rachna Thakker received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and was awarded her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. As a dental student, Dr. Thakker was involved in many leadership roles, including serving in the Indian Student Dental Association and also had volunteered for community based dentistry programs such as Community Oriented Dental Education (CODE). After obtaining her dental degree, she practiced at Charter Oak Health Center, a federally qualified health center in Hartford, CT, that serves the medically underrepresented, via the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) program. She has been in private practice for 9+ years. She performs all branches of restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association and the Passaic County Dental Society. Dr. Thakker enjoys the team atmosphere and camaraderie of her office. She is devoted to providing her patients with the very best care available and spends several hours each month learning the most advanced techniques in dentistry.
Alejandra is an essential part of the office. She has been in the Dental field for more than 12 years. When you walk into the office, you are greeted by her smile and her making your dental visit as comfortable as possible. Her attention to our patients makes her build long lasting friendships with new and recurrent patients. I love to engage and give as much information possible to our patients. I believe that patients benefit from this since an informed decision is the best decision when it comes to their dental health.-Alejandra relates to us; outside of the office she enjoys doing crafts with her family.
Yadira has been a great addition to the Vibrant Smiles Dental team. With her exceptional dental assistant aptitude, patients feel relaxed and tranquil, knowing that they are under the best care. She immensely enjoys learning and staying up-to-date with the latest dental products and technology. She regularly attends educational courses to enhance her knowledge and put into practice at the office. With great pride Yadira shares I enjoy seeing happy patients at the end of their treatment, it makes my job very rewarding. When she is not in the office you can catch her spending time with her family at the park.
Augusto has been with the practice since the commencement of Vibrant Smiles Dental. You will find him assisting mostly on Saturdays. His calm demeanor makes every patient feel at ease during dental treatment. The patients can clearly see his understanding of the Doctors vision, always putting the patient first. Augusto says I love to contribute in improving our patients quality of life, by helping them improve their oral health. I try to use the knowledge and scientific methods I have learned over the years. In his leisure time, he can be found enjoying watching movies and playing soccer on the weekends.

Dr. Rachna and her staff are professional, pleasant and very compassionate. The office is super clean, and the overall experience is excellent. You will not regret visiting this office.

I was long overdue for a routine check up and cleaning, and needed to find a new dentist (after going to the same practice since childhood). My only regret was not going to Vibrant Smiles sooner! The entire office staff was delightful. Alex was so nice and attentive over the phone, and even more so in person. She had all insurance info squared away from the start, which was super helpful. Dr. Thakker was kind, funny, thorough, and made the visit a breeze. By the end of the appointment, I felt as though I had been going there forever. I truly felt cared for and in great hands. My hubby even made an appointment and went the next day. I couldn't say enough great things about this crew!

My daughter needed some work done, and they were able to fit us in that same day. The office is very welcoming and inviting. The office staff is very professional and helpful. I went in for a deep cleaning and it was quick and painless. Would recommend to family or friends!!!

Vibrant Smiles Dental Office is by far one the best dentist office I have ever visited.The staff are extremely nice and welcoming .Also the dental care is fantastic and overall a great experience.I have been a patient there for over 2+ years and they are always on top of all my appointments and very organized.The office is super clean and nicely decorated.I am so thankful to have such a wonderful dentist and definitely recommend Vibrant Smile Dental to everyone Trust me you won't be disappointed!

I can't say enough great things about this practice! My husband and I have been going here since it was owned by the previous dentist, who was very good, about 7 years ago. We were a little nervous when it changed over, since it's so hard to find a good dentist these days. But Dr. Thakker is truly the best dentist we've ever been to!! Her comforting personality, gentle care, creativity and attention to detail are simply unmatched! Our teeth have never looked better! And the staff members are just as excellent! They are competent, patient and very pleasant to interact with. I'd like to especially point out that Alex, the front desk administrative assistant and coordinator, is absolutely amazing! She makes us feel warm and welcomed every time we speak to her over the phone and in person at the office. We couldn't have been blessed with a better team to take care of our teeth than Vibrant Smiles!! SUPER HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I've been going to Dr. Thakker since they opened about 6 years ago and I can't say nothing but the best about them! Great service personalized care and pleasant people! The entire staff, especially Alex and Alexa, make me feel relaxed and comfortable. It's the best dentist experience I've ever had!

I am absolutely terrified of the dentist. I had to get a root canal and was very worried and scared. However Dr Rachna was very understanding and explained everything to me. I did the root canal and it actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be! The office staff are very nice and sweet! Would definitely recommend this office and I am so happy and RELIEVED that I don't have to worry about having any bad experiences at the dentist ever again!

What a wonderful experience! I am a self proclaimed horrible patient and made that clear from the moment I walked in the door. Not only did the brilliant staff quell my fears, they also made me feel at ease! I have never had problems with my teeth (thank goodness) - but some things had come up forcing me to go. The Dr. sat with me and explained everything that needed to be done including follow up, an estimate was provided before services were rendered so there were no surprises! The facility was clean, the staff was professional and the doctor was brilliant! I walked out with a VIBRANT SMILE!!
