Dr. Rachna Thakker received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and was awarded her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. As a dental student, Dr. Thakker was involved in many leadership roles, including serving in the Indian Student Dental Association and also had volunteered for community based dentistry programs such as Community Oriented Dental Education (CODE). After obtaining her dental degree, she practiced at Charter Oak Health Center, a federally qualified health center in Hartford, CT, that serves the medically underrepresented, via the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) program. She has been in private practice for 9+ years. She performs all branches of restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association and the Passaic County Dental Society. Dr. Thakker enjoys the team atmosphere and camaraderie of her office. She is devoted to providing her patients with the very best care available and spends several hours each month learning the most advanced techniques in dentistry.
Alejandra is an essential part of the office. She has been in the Dental field for more than 12 years. When you walk into the office, you are greeted by her smile and her making your dental visit as comfortable as possible. Her attention to our patients makes her build long lasting friendships with new and recurrent patients. I love to engage and give as much information possible to our patients. I believe that patients benefit from this since an informed decision is the best decision when it comes to their dental health.-Alejandra relates to us; outside of the office she enjoys doing crafts with her family.
Yadira has been a great addition to the Vibrant Smiles Dental team. With her exceptional dental assistant aptitude, patients feel relaxed and tranquil, knowing that they are under the best care. She immensely enjoys learning and staying up-to-date with the latest dental products and technology. She regularly attends educational courses to enhance her knowledge and put into practice at the office. With great pride Yadira shares I enjoy seeing happy patients at the end of their treatment, it makes my job very rewarding. When she is not in the office you can catch her spending time with her family at the park.
Augusto has been with the practice since the commencement of Vibrant Smiles Dental. You will find him assisting mostly on Saturdays. His calm demeanor makes every patient feel at ease during dental treatment. The patients can clearly see his understanding of the Doctors vision, always putting the patient first. Augusto says I love to contribute in improving our patients quality of life, by helping them improve their oral health. I try to use the knowledge and scientific methods I have learned over the years. In his leisure time, he can be found enjoying watching movies and playing soccer on the weekends.
