Born in Taiwan, Dr. Maryam Rezaie grew up as a world traveler. She lived in Brazil, Belgium, Macau, and China and visited many places around the world. At sixteen, her family moved to Miami, Florida. Here, she completed her high school and undergraduate studies with honors from Palmetto Senior High School and Florida International University.
Dr. Rezaie completed her dental school training at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2009 and served in many leadership positions. For example, she participated in two dental mission trips to the Dominican Republic, and co-founded the countrys second student chapter of the American Association of Public Health Dentistry. In 2010, she completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center in Riviera Beach, Florida, and received an additional Certificate of Appreciation for Exhibiting her total commitment to our Veterans Wellbeing through her dedication towards providing the best treatment possible for all her patients.
For the next few years, Dr. Rezaie completed multiple continuing education courses as she practiced dentistry in both public health and private practice settings in the state of Maryland. The more she learned about the practice of orthodontics, the more she realized that she wanted to become an orthodontist. So, in 2013, Dr. Rezaie returned to Florida to attend Jacksonville University School of Orthodontics. During this time, she received a Fellowship in Orthodontic Clinical Research, and later a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Orthodontics. In fact, for her outstanding academic achievement, she was inducted into the honor society of Phi Kappa Phi. Her excellence continued as she served as Student Vice President and later as Chief Resident to the orthodontic program.
Upon graduating from Orthodontic residency, Dr. Rezaie moved to Kansas City, Kansas, to work for a prestigious orthodonticpractice. After two and a half years in the Midwest, she returned to Florida and joined a famous orthodontic practice in the Pensacola area. In the summer of 2021, Dr. Rezaie achieved her dream of starting her own practice with the purchase of Braces by Snead. Shes so thankful for all the families who have accepted her with open arms to take care of them and their childrens orthodontic needs. Bringing a smile inside and out to those around her is what makes her happy!
Dee is our MVP when it comes to setting up your interest-free payment plans through Orthobanc! She is an integral part of our patient experience who is fun, friendly, and committed to going above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your time here in our office. Dee is also fluent in Spanish, and a fun fact about her is that she was an exceptional 3 point shooter in high school and college. Go team!
Kayla is the first smiling face youll see when you visit our office! After graduating high school in May 2021, Kayla joined our team to pursue her dental career. She enjoys working with all patients at the front desk and over the phone to provide the friendly, supportive, and informative care you deserve. In her spare time, Kayla enjoys being at the beach, painting, and spending time with her family and friends.
Gay possesses over 30 years of experience in the dental field. Her warm, welcoming demeanor will make you feel right at home when you meet her! She assists Dr. Rezaie in all aspects of orthodontic care, including the removal of braces and fitting and creating custom retainers for patients.
Lee Ann has been active in the dentistry field since 1983. With a wealth of experience in orthodontics, she loves helping patients attain the healthy, beautiful smiles of their dreams! When not working, she enjoys jewelry making and acrylic pour painting. She has two adult children and currently lives in Tallahassee with two chihuahuas and a cat named George.
Yesica pursued a career in orthodontics after having a great experience with her own orthodontic treatment in her early 20's. She absolutely loves helping patients achieve their smile goals and being part of their journey to total smile confidence! In her spare time, Yesica loves to spend quality time with her family and to play soccer.

HOME! That's the word I think of when I come to this office. Though this is my initial visit, I feel very confident about the ones to come. I experienced help, patience, kind words, laughter, dancing, and just an overall awesome time here! From the beginning of making my appointment, until the actual day, Dr. R, Yessica, David, Ms. Dee, and the entire staff were amazing!!! I can't wait until my next appointment!

I can't say enough good things. The staff is great, but the doctor herself is amazing. She is great with questions, I never felt pressured, and there were no surprise fees. When we mentioned my daughter was in a play---she said she'd come. And she did! When I texted at 11 pm (thinking the message would be reviewed in the morning), she answered, drew on a photo of the tooth in question, and then scheduled an interim appointment right there on the phone by text at 11:30 pm. I mean...to say she goes above and beyond is putting it too lightly. She loves what she does, and that sort of love increases the quality of the medical care.

I'm in Tallahassee for college and my permanent retainer broke. I was extremely worried because I wouldn't have been able to make it to my hometown to get it fixed before school but Dr. Rezaie saved me! She was extremely detailed and did a fantastic job with the repair. Not to mention she has a very bubbly personality that made a very stressful situation into a fun one. I definitely recommend her!

For starters, the staff and Dr. Rezaie were so welcoming. I loved the office! This was by far the best doctor's office visit I've had! They were fast, professional, and always answered any questions I had prior to getting my braces. I love the fact that they're understanding, and willing to work with you. Dee was very helpful when it came to paperwork and payments. Yesica, was amazing as well, she made sure I was comfortable during the process. I can't thank Dr.Rezaie enough. I'm very happy with this office fixing my daughters teeth and being so communicative and patient with both me as a parent and with my daughter. We are a transfer from another orthodontist/dentist office and we were very reluctant at first, having such a bad experience with the prior orthodontist work. Dr. Rezaie has changed our feelings all together since we've started at Vibrant as she's been helping my daughter build confidence with her smile again and along her journey with braces. Dr. Rezaie formulated a plan to correct the situation we were left with and it's been working so well! I would recommend this office to anyone who wants a positive experience with an orthodontist and happy results!

Every time I go to an a appointment at Vibrant Orthodontics the whole experience is great. Front desk staff is very friendly, dental techs are efficient and Dr Rezaie is knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you for keeping my bottom retainer going.

I was one of the adults that stopped wearing my retainers at night and my teeth shifted. Dr. R was really great! She is very nice and was able to fix the problem. My treatment was short and I actually ended earlier than predicted. The whole staff was amazing. I had a couple of emergencies and Dr. R contacted me quickly and saw me in the office (after hours). The hygienists are fantastic. Gayle and Yesica were amazing and answered all my questions and concerns. I finished my treatment with Yesica as my hygienist and she was really great. She took her time to make sure everything was right and that I was happy with the outcome. Thank you Dr. R and staff!!

Dr. Rezaie is absolutely amazing!! By far the best doctor office experience I have had so far. The team created a treatment plan for me that was way better than what I was originally expecting. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. 10/10 recommend to anyone in Tallahassee looking for orthodontic work.
