Dr. Metz is originally from North Platte, Nebraska. He received his B.S. in Human Biology from Chadron State College, and his D.D.S. from the University of Nebraskas College of Dentistry. Dr. Metz is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and Arizona Dental Association. He enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with family, and Husker football.
Interested in art, design, and science, Carl Metz attended the 8th grade Health and Science Camp at Creighton University. It was at this camp that he drilled and filled his first tooth (dont worry it was a mannequin). The instructor stating that he Drilled the best tooth hed seen all day, Metz was hooked.
Dr. Metz Applied for a Pre-Dental Scholarship and was 1 of 2 awarded with the honor that year. He would go on to receive his B.S. in Human Biology from Chadron State College, and his D.D.S. from the University of Nebraskas College of Dentistry.
In June of 2005, Dr. Metz searched for opportunities and a warmer climate. His research lead to Phoenix, AZ as his number one choice. He became an associate in Sun City and began his Professional Career in Dentistry.
June 2012, Dr. Metz and his team were awarded the Scheduling Institutes highest national prize a Lamborghini Gallardo and membership at the highest level. He would go on to sell the Lambo and reinvest the money back into the business; still determined to give his patients the best experience in Healthcare. He also used some of the proceeds to purchase a Mini Cooper Convertible which was given away to a patient at the 2014 Patient Appreciation Event. Vibrant Dentistry participates in the Arizona Mission of Mercy and has also hosted three Dentistry From The Heart Charity Events which includes offering free fillings, cleanings, and extractions to those in need.
July 2016, Dr. Metz and his team were selected as a PHOENIX Magazine Top Dentist in two categories: General Dentist and Cosmetic Dentist. Every spring, PHOENIX Magazine mails Top Dentists Surveys to the full population of practicing dentists in the valley. The survey asks them to write the names of three dentists whom they deem to be the best in each of nine specialties. The top vote-getters in each category are awarded the PHOENIX Magazine Top Dentist distinction. There are over 2,700 dentists in the Valley and only 38 General Dentists and 22 Cosmetic Dentists were awarded the honor. Dr. Metz and his team are humbled and grateful for the recognition from their peers and look forward to continuing to serve their patients at the highest level.

Crystal has been a dental hygienist at Vibrant Dentistry since June of 2007. Her primary role is educating patients regarding their periodontal condition and working with them to improve their health. Crystal is passionate about helping our patients keep their mouths as healthy as possible, which in turn improves their overall health. Crystal grew up in Mesa and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Northern Arizona University. She is a member of the American and Arizona Dental Hygiene Associations. She loves the Phoenix Suns, reading, and spending time with her husband Drew, and their first child Graham, who was born March of 2016.
Tara was born and raised in Gilbert, Arizona. She earned her associate degree in dental hygiene at Mesa Community College and bachelors degree at Northern Arizona University. She is continuing her education to become a Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary and is eager to to provide the most up to date and beneficial information about oral health to our patients. Tara is an enthusiastic prevention specialist who loves to build long lasting positive relationships with everyone she meets. She is a member of American Dental Hygiene Association. She is a free spirit; you may run into her during her spare time emBARKing on a new adventure with her dog Zoey.
As our Team Leader, Trish oversees the daily operations of our practice as well as the training and development systems for our employees. She is an expert regarding dental insurance and is always available to our patients to answer any questions they may have regarding their coverage or estimated treatment costs. Since starting with Vibrant Dentistry in 2007, her eagerness to learn new things and passion for serving others have helped our practice provide superior dental care to our patients. Trish is a native of Mesa and is married to her high school sweetheart. She loves hiking and her two dogs Sparky and Asher. Her first child Ayden was born June 2012.

Doctor Metz is a great dentist who does great work, I have zero complaints with any of the dental work (fillings) I got done. High quality dentistry. However, the way he speaks to his staff was very jarring and hearing this during my appointment made me very uncomfortable. Will probably not be coming in again.

My experience with Vibrant Dentistry is always positive. They always do their best to ensure you are comfortable during your visit and they are welcoming and friendly. I have nothing bad to say. I am glad I found Vibrant Dentistry when I did. Because of Dr. Metz and his staff I leave every appointment confident about my smile. :)

I have been going To Vibrant Dentistry for several years now. Doctor Metz is the best and really takes time to explain the treatments and why they are needed. Tara is the BEST dental assistant and always remembers from visit to visit what is going on in my life and asks for updates, very personable. I hated dentists and rarely went before a friend recommended them. What a nice change. I cant say that going to the dentist is my favorite thing to do now, but they make it very pleasurable. Plus each time I go, they have a new gadget. Technology there is impressive!

I've been a patient at Vibrant Dentistry for about 15 years. Dr Metz and his team are extremely skilled and passionate about providing high-quality dental services. From routine cleanings to complete cosmetic makeovers; you can trust you are in the right hands. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Metz for years. He's a straight shooter, kind, welcoming, works hard and makes sure his patients are comfortable and understand the process. His assistants, especially Trish and Crystal are amazing too. Beyond the great dentistry they do, they hae amazing customer service, they offer you pain meds, blankets, drinks, milkshakes after procedures, headphones, etc. We hadn't found a pediatric dentist we loved and trusted for our kids. A couple weeks ago, my 10 year old had a tooth crack (an old filling cracked on the side from a previous dentists work about 5 years ago), Dr. Metz' team was able to squeeze us in same day and get my son taken care of. When we left he said "this is the dentist I want to go to every time, he is so nice!" So grateful for Dr. Metz and his expertise and the knowledge and assistance of his team.

I am almost 59 years old and went in to have my routine 6 month dental cleaning. After X-rays, digital pictures, probing, and oral cancer screening, I'm told that they can't clean my teeth without Novocain and I need to return at a later date. Seriously? I have NEVER needed that previously. Also, I'm told that I developed SEVEN cavities and gum disease since my last cleaning 6 months ago. Wrong. The most frustrating part is that they ignored my wishes and wanted to do things their way. I am the patient. I am paying for services. I came to get my teeth cleaned and they didn't provide the service. Unacceptable. They did enjoy providing me with a "treatment plan" that is beneficial to them. I only came to this office because they were in my insurance network. I am happy to return to my previous dentist and pay for cleanings out of pocket.

I've been a Vibrant Dentistry patient for about 8 years. I discovered the practice when I moved from Ohio to Arizona and was referred by some local friends to see Dr. Metz (including my now husband - who has been a patient even longer than I have). For me, the bar was set high as my mom was a dental hygienist growing up and I spent a lot of time with her dental office team. It's clear that Dr. Metz is passionate for his work and dedicated to hiring and maintaining a top-class hygienist staff. Each of my cleanings have been thorough and comfortable and the hygienists also make time to check in on my life updates while also giving me some tips to keep up with my oral hygiene. When coming in for fillings (sorry, mom), which tend to give me serious anxiety, the assistants are friendly, and Dr. Metz is calming and confident. I love this dentist and I cant say it enough. I had my temp crown come loose during the week of Thanksgiving, the week their office was going to be closed, but someone came into the office and I was able to get to the assistance I needed so I could enjoy my holiday. On top of that I appreciate that they have an after office hours phone line that I can call or text anytime when something like this happens. I get a quick and friendly response. I will always recommend them to everyone I know.

I would recommend Dr.Metz and his team to anyone. They're very friendly and knowledgeable. I felt at ease from the moment I came through the door. Doctor Metz has created a network of professionals to assist you with any dental needs you may have. I had a complicated situation with my teeth where many dentists have failed in the past. Dr.Metz and his team exceeded all expectations. This is my dentist as long as I am in Arizona he will be worth the trip to his office. If you have something complicated or minor give Vibrant Dentistry an opportunity to change your mind about oral health. You will not be disappointed.

I recently moved out here and searched for the best dentist I could find. Vibrant had amazing reviews and seemed to be the best out here. After getting dental work done there I can confirm I'd go nowhere else but here the staff is over the top kind and very communicative about the process. Highly recommend my reviews as others hold true this is the place to go.

Like most, I have lived a life of dreading the dentist. It doesn't matter how good I feel after I still didnt look forward to the next visit. That's how I used to feel until I was introduced to Dr. Metz and his amazing staff. I can confidently say I look forward to every visit. The expertise exhibited and the care taken allows for the anxiety related to dentist visits be completely dismissed. I highly recommend this office to everyone.
