As a dentist, I am grateful for the opportunity to help others in the Cocoa Beach area improve the appearance and comfort of their smiles! I feel blessed to provide a service that I truly enjoy giving. But the best part of my job is getting to know the wonderful people in our community. I learn so much from them, and have made some wonderful friends. Prior to becoming a dentist in Cocoa Beach, I attained my AA Degree from the University of Florida and my Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Central Florida. Afterwards, I returned to the University of Florida for my DMD Degree.
In addition to my formal dental education, I also actively pursue my continuing dental education in order to ensure my patients are receiving the highest quality care. I strive to find the most advanced treatments available that provide the most comfortable and efficient dental care possible. I was born and raised in Winter Park, Florida. My lovely wife, Dawn, and I have four children. In addition to spending quality time with my family, I also enjoy all sporting activities, relaxing at the beach, and attending church.

One of the more affordable vacation spots in all of Florida, there is never a lack of exciting things to do and see in the local area. Besides offering the best of sun and fun at the beach, while on the Space Coast you can do some awesome deep sea fishing or take an extraordinary eco-tour adventure on a kayak tour or airboat ride to get up close and personal with Floridas awesome wildlife. You can visit area attractions like the Kennedy Space Center (maybe even see a rocket liftoff! into space), explore our areas rich history by doing some sightseeing at our museums and historic sites, or soak up some beach culture while shopping for some fabulous finds. You can enjoy the great outdoors playing a round or two of golf on our spectacular courses, or get wet enjoying the absolute best in wind and watersports. Disney Cruise Line makes its home in Port Canaveral, as well as Carnival and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.
The first real settlement in the immediate area was started by a family of newly freed slaves following the Civil War, but a hurricane in 1885 discouraged settlement. Then, in 1888, a group of Cocoa men bought the entire tract of land. The land remained untouched until an attorney named Gus Edwards arrived. He bought Cocoa Beach and began to develop it. The City of Cocoa Beach was established on June 5, 1925, and was incorporated as a City on June 29, 1957.
The city truly came to life during the 1960s due to Americas space program. NASAs John F. Kennedy Space Center is located approximately 15 miles away. The city became home to many young families where one or both parents worked on some aspect of the space program. Children raised here were sometimes referred to as Cape Brats. The community was once so full of children that the schools overflowed and portable class rooms were built to host them. It was not unheard of for there to be 45 children per classroom. After manned space flights, the town held astronaut parades. Before there was a Silicon Valley, Cocoa Beach and other surrounding towns were full of the best and brightest technical minds around. Today, many Kennedy Space Center workers still call Cocoa Beach home.

Dr. Vevera & his staff are wonderful. They were caring, knowledgeable & efficient in all aspects of my childrens' dental care. From scheduling, insurance to billing and patient care - everything was so easyI I highly recommend Vevera Family Dental.

Tried calling for an emergency broken tooth but they said they were not taking any new patients. So the reviews I saw here didn't match my experience. I only posted this for people like me who were searching for a dentist online. If you have an emergency issue, you will have to find a different dentist. This review has nothing to do with their actual work.

We love Vevera Family Dental. Dr. Vevera is the Michelangelo of modern dentistry. The office is very high tech compared to other dental offices. They use the most modern technology to mitigate pain during a procedure. The office staff is very friendly and professional. They will go out of their way to help you figure out the best way to handle a procedure financially, especially Dawn. Dental Assistant Nurse Tracey is always very skillful, professional and comforting. She is always upbeat, compassionate and caring. I enjoy our chats. Dental Assistant Brandy does an excellent job cleaning my teeth. She is very careful especially with sensitive teeth. We love Vevera Family Dental, they perform outstanding work. They are extremely organized, caring, compassionate and efficient too. We highly recommend this Dentist.

Due to an emergency far from our own Dentist I went to VEVERA Family Dental. When I called I spoke to Dawn. To me first impressions mean everything and boy was I right! Dawn could not have been more helpful. Even though it was the Drs scheduled day off he was in his office working and helping people. After meeting Dawn I met Tracy the practices Dental assistant who also was nicer than I could have hoped for. After a few short minutes I met Dr. VEVERA. What a godsend he is to people in emergency situations. I thought I had the best dentist in the US in my hometown in New York, I was wrong. I have the second best dentist there as Dr VEVERA is the very best. Calm, cool, intelligent...he explained why I was in so much pain and planned a course to help me. I was amazed how all the professionals in this practice had one thing on their mind, me! I highly recommend VEVERA Family Dental to everyone. In fact, we will be having our Dental needs changed to coincide with our visits to Cocoa Beach moving forward. I only wish I could rate this practice 10 stars for their incredible work. I pray God Blesses them all in every way.

I'm terrified of Dentists. I had some work done in Broward County before moving to Cape Canaveral . It was a nightmare but the results were ok. Just ok. . It left me with a fear of dentists. So Traumatizing..Then after a while I had pain in a wisdom tooth till i couldn't stand it any more . I went to Dr Vevera and I was amazed at the care. I wanted the best Dentist so I was somewhat ok with it. I though to my self . He's has to have lots of care with his patients .I was so surprised at the gentleness that he gave me.He knew that I was scared because I left his office on the first try. I know it was not good that I left .I thought about it . I went back to his office . His staff was so very gracious to me. . Before I knew it my tooth was out and he prepared me for an implant. I cannot say enough about Dr Vevera . I can only Thank him from the bottom of my heart. The way he handles his office is so Professional .The care is just what i needed to restore my faith in Dentistry. I am making my appointment for my implant soon. I pay as i go.This helps me not have a big Bill. Thank you Dr Vevera and staff for your good experience . You restored my Faith in Dentists

If you want to get the best dental services, you need to go to the Vevera Family Dental. From the minute you open the door you are greeted with a smiling friendly receptionist. I had to wait 10 minutes for my appointment, and she said how sorry she was! When you go into the office, you are greeted by a friendly smiling dental hygienist . I can not believe how their modern methods make you feel wonderful. Vevera Family Dental will be my dentist forever!

This family of co-workers are just ABSOLUTELY wonderful and very accommodating. As awe vacationed in Cocoa, Florida my daughter and an emergency and had to have something done right away. This practice was able to get us in and quickly. Fantastic people at this practice too!! Dr. Vevera was FABULOUS and very helpful. Such a kind man with a great bedside manor. My daughter doesn't care for dentists and even though she was onrey, she thought he was great. She was so pleased and was almost completely pain free in about 4 hours. I DO recommend this practice to the community or to the visitors of Cocoa Beach. Thank you Dr. Vevera and your practice!!

I am not actually a customer, but wanted to give this practice high marks. I accidentally called them with a late night tooth emergency and they worked hard to make an appointment for me. Since I called the wrong office, I never went and can not give a 5-star review, but I do appreciate their efforts to try and help me!

I am already recommending this place to any and everyone! I have yet to even make it in the office and today I have called LITERALLY twenty dentists in central brevardand Christina was the utmost of professional and her customer service skills are on point! They were the ONLY ones to show any genuine care or concern about my situation and the affordability is there also. Good values mean allot with ANY business and to me, they proved themselves!
