My professional life as an orthodontist has given me an opportunity to meet many people and to influence their lives. My patients are amazing, and I respect every one of them whether they are children or adults. Many have to overcome challenges with the appearance of their smile as well as other life challenges. A healthy, attractive smile can be life changing for both children and adults. As a specialist with more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Daniel Very has the opportunity to affect the well-being and confidence of his patients on a daily basis. Together, with the team at Very Orthodontics, Dr. Very changes people's lives one smile at a time.
Dr. Very is a 1984 graduate of the University of Notre Dame. He received a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1988. Following a residency program in advanced general dentistry at the Veterans Administration Medical Center of Pittsburgh, Dr. Very entered a private dental practice and joined the faculty of the University of Pittsburgh as an instructor of oral medicine and oral diagnosis. In 1994, he completed a three-year orthodontic specialty training program and received his orthodontic certificate and his Master of Dental Science degree.
Dr. Very was fortunate to receive his education at top universities and now has experience as well. He leads by example at Very Orthodontics, embodying our commitment to knowledge, dedication, professionalism, and compassion.
By implementing the latest knowledge and techniques in his clinical practice, Dr. Very is able to provide the most advanced orthodontic care for his patients. He is active in the American Association of Orthodontists continuing education lectures and programs, as well as the American Dental Association, International Association for Orthodontics, Ohio Dental Association, and the Corydon Palmer Dental Association.
Dr. Very and his wife Laura have been married more than 30 years. They met as students at the University of Notre Dame and both attended the University of Pittsburgh Dental School. They have been blessed with a beautiful family that keeps growing. Their three children are all married and have given them two grandchildren.
Dr. Very and Laura spend most of their time with their children and their families, as well as their extended family. Dr. Very personally enjoys reading, exercising, gardening, the outdoors, and taking family trips to Stone Harbor, New Jersey.
Commitment to the community is at the heart of Very Orthodontics. Dr. Very generously sponsored the Very Orthodontics Smile Cove play area for many years at the Eastwood Mall. The play area featured an anti-bullying theme and was designed with many fun activities in mind for the children.

Our first visit was far beyond what we expected! The whole staff is wonderful! Everyone was extremely patient during the whole visit, answered all of our questions, and eased any concerns we had financially. I'm actually looking forward to my son getting his braces instead of it feeling like a financial burden. I even scheduled my daughters first appointment since I now have the ability to do both at the same time! I highly recommend a consultation before going anywhere else.

A great facility. The staff was very welcoming, the facility is very clean and Dr. Very's wife was very welcoming. Staff handling the finance portion of the visit was very sufficient with her explanation and my options. First class experience from start to finish.

I am starting my third childs braces with Dr. Very and his team. I drive over an hour to the office and wouldn't change a thing. The staff is amazing!! Very patient with my children and extremely caring. I plan on having my own braces done after my final child is paid off. The whole experience has been great!!

My daughter is a new patient. We went for our complimentary consultation and we were wowed from the minute we walked in the door. We were greeted, seated, and taken back quickly. It was a wonderful experience for us to start. I would highly recommend just after our first visit.
