Dr. Sumit Gupta is a 2008 graduate from The University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. He attended University of the Pacific for his undergraduate studies where he earned his Bachelor in Science and continued on to their Dental school as part of a 6 year accelerated program. Dr. Gupta spent 6 years in California before deciding to move back to Pittsburgh to work side by side with his father. He joined Verona Dental Care in 2010 as an associate.
Dr. Gupta was born and raised in the Pittsburgh area. He graduated in 2001 from Fox Chapel High school. He enjoys watching sports and is a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins and Pirates fan. Although he went to Pacific, he is still a loyal fan of the Pitt Panthers as well. Dr. Gupta enjoys staying active and in his free time plays many sports, including basketball, soccer, tennis, racquetball, and golf.
He recently returned from a ten day surgical mission in Bhutan. During his trip he worked with Surgicorps International; a nonprofit organization whose goal is to provide free surgical and medical care to disadvantaged individuals in developing countries.

I am a nervous person at the Dentist and the staff, hygienists, and Dentist at this office were all great! They walked me through each step of the process and were patient and kind. I highly recommend this office for anyone.

Every time I go into the office, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere of the office as a whole is very inviting. This is also one of the cleanest offices I have been in. All in all you just feel comfortable when you're there!

I used to hate going to the dentist, but Verona dental is different. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and nice. I was nervous getting my teeth cleaned, but the dental hygienist Bianca was great! She made me feel at ease and was willing to stop whenever I needed a break. The dentist is a down to earth guy and very professional. Overall great place to get work done on your teeth. I will be telling my friends and family to go here!

Verona Dental Care is only concerned with making money. They mistreated me multiple times. Most recently, the lost my Invisalign retainer and tried to make me pay $5,550 to have my teeth restored to their aligned position. They refuse to take responsibility and I'm going to have to file a legal complaint to have them cover the costs to get my teeth aligned again. It has been a horrible experience and I will not go back.

I have been seeing Verona Dental Care for my advancing age dental needs. I still have my teeth, they are great and want to keep them that way! Wow these people really impress me, they seem like they really enjoy working together. Nice relaxing atmosphere.

When I started going to Verona Dental Care several years ago I was terrified of dentists due to a very horrible experience in the past. It took time for me to feel comfortable going to the dentist but Dr. Gupta and his entire team gradually put my fears to rest. I am happy to say I am no longer afraid to go to the dentist because of the wonderful people that work there. I guarantee you will never find a better Dental practice than Verona Dental Care.

Excellent patient care! I came in as a new patient and they provided very thorough care to set a baseline for me as an incoming patient! The staff, especially Bianca, took the time to explain everything completely and step by step. They seem to care about their patients very much! They have many options available to make you feel as comfortable as possible and create a safe space, relieving the anxiety many have around going to the dentist. I would highly suggest this office to anyone looking for wonderful care.
