With a combined experience of over fifty years, we take the time to understand and identify areas that are important to you. Our doctors and staff ensure that you have the understanding for your individual plans each step of the way and arrange a schedule that best meets your needs ensuring that your time is valuable. Extra consideration is taken to stay on schedule and not keep you waiting.
Our team is aware that many people do not look forward to dental visits and we congratulate you on taking this first step toward good oral health. We also realize it is your right to choose your dentist and we feel proud that you have chosen us to serve your needs. Our goal is to make you feel confident that you have made the correct decision.
We have two locations to best serve you, in Norfolk and Virginia Beach. We are here to listen and answer any questions and concerns that you may have and we look forward to establishing a lasting relationship with you and your family.
After graduating from Norfolk Academy, Dr. OBerry attended Washington and Lee University and the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. In 1983, he began practicing dentistry with his father. Three years later, he opened his own private practice. Since that time, he has provided general dentistry and expanded his practice to included cosmetic dentistry. Today, Dr. OBerry is a member of the Tidewater Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He and his wife, Amy reside in Virginia Beach with their two children. They enjoy skiing and many outdoor activities.

Vernon O'Berry's dental practice is outstanding in every way. He and his staff are personable and professional. The office at Fort Norfolk Plaza is well-located, very comfortable, and up-to-date. Appointments are easily made and much of the new patient paperwork can be handled online, making a visit streamlined.

We were referred to Dr. Kirkman's practice over 35 yrs ago. He had high standards & provided care at the highest level. When he retired he assured us the we would be happy with Dr. O'Berry. 22 years later my whole family sees him and we would never think about going anywhere else. His practice is a 10 out of 10!

I had been scared to go to the dentist for a while due to bad experiences in my home town. After going here I am not so scared anymore. Ellen performed my dental cleaning and she was wonderful. She answered all of my questions and made sure she wasn't hurting me when cleaning my teeth. Dr. O'Berry did my tooth filling a few days later and was very efficient, I wasn't left in the waiting room forever. I also completed my paperwork online before the appointment so I didn't have to do it in the office and the kind woman at the front desk answered all of my insurance questions. I highly recommend going the this dentist office!

Very good dental office in terms of service, Joann is a great hygienist. Dr. Marshall is very nice and competent. My issue is I was with them for 10 years, I have not switched insurance, but they are suddenly out of network. They said there was nothing they could do, but from the research I have done it's a matter of paperwork!!! The way they explained it to me, left a bad taste in my mouth. So good dental office, but not going to bat for a long time client with good insurance seems wrong. I will say they are taking a write down for last visit, which is appreciated.

Our whole family has used Dr. O'Berry's office for years. The staff especially Marty are wonderful! Dr. Marshall is great, too! Very professional, and never any issues with scheduling or paperwork. Highly recommend!
