This is what our doctor, Dr. Hakopyan, and our staff adhere to first and foremost .
We understand that patients are constantly bombarded with information, be it from the internet, television, or even other people. Some of this information is accurate but a significant portion is unfortunately misguided. That is why Dr. Hakopyan will sit down and talk to you.
He will explain every aspect of your treatment, answering all of your questions and addressing your concerns. There are no surprises and no empty promises. Working together with our patients is how we achieve our treatment objectives.
Completely computerized, we create less paper waste and as a result less of an impact on the environment. We are amalgam free which reduces the toxic wastes of heavy metals such as mercury and lead. We are equipped with the latest dental technologies, including digital Xrays, which eliminates chemical waste and reduces energy expenditure. Our office offers the latest and safest dental techniques and procedures for a truly stress-free visit.
Having grown up and schooled in Glendale (Horace Mann elementary, Roosevelt Middle School, Glendale High School), Dr. Hakopyan would like nothing better than to serve and provide excellent dental care to this enclave of prosperity.
Dr. Hakopyan graduated from Glendale High School in 1999 and went on to UCLA for his undergraduate studies. He would eventually graduate with a bachelors degree in Psycho-Biology with and Armenian Studies minor in 2004. At UCLA, Dr. Hakopyan decided to devote himself to dentistry and the betterment of those around him. Upon graduation, he opted immediately to start dental school at the prestigious and extremely competitive NYU College of Dentistry.
There, the doctor was exposed to a great amount of clinical knowledge and experience as well as a rigorous academic curriculum. Graduating in 2008, although being offered numerous opportunities on the East Coast, Dr. Hakopyan felt that he needed to return home to Southern California. This is where he wished to be, with his family and community.
Patiently waiting for his licensure to commence, Dr. Hakopyan began practicing dentistry in 2008, all the while gaining invaluable knowledge through research and continuing education courses. Beginning August 2009, Dr. Hakopyan became a member of the BrightNow! Dental group of practices. Initially an associate dentist at their Burbank office, Dr. Hakopyan quickly earned the position of a managing dentist at the Lancaster. Afterwards the opportunity to relocate to Granada Hills, brought Dr. Hakopyan closer to home. It was during these years that the doctor contemplated opening up his own private practice. In Montrose he found an ideal location and situation. After many months of hard work and preparation, Verdugo Hills Dental Group was finally unveiled. This is where Dr. Hakopyan decided to build his career.

Dr. Hakopyan has been my dentist for a few years now and I've had nothing but excellent results in my dental work. When I switched over from my previous dentist, I needed to get some work done that included handling cavities, a root canal and an implant. I could not have picked a better dentist - Dr. Hakopyan was great and I am very happy with the results. His work and work manner is great and he makes going to the dentist, not a painful, but pleasant experience. I like to ask questions so I understand, as a patient, what is going on and he explains everything very well. I highly recommend Dr. Hakopyan as a dentist - he and his staff are very caring and take the necessary time and care for excellent results.

Dr. Hakopyan has been my dentist for a few years now and I've had nothing but excellent results in my dental work. I could not have picked a better dentist - Dr. Hakopyan was great and I am very happy with the results. His work and work manner is great and he makes going to the dentist, not a painful, but pleasant experience. I like to ask questions so I understand, as a patient, what is going on and he explains everything very well. I highly recommend Dr. Hakopyan as a dentist - he and his staff are very caring and take the necessary time and care for excellent results.

I had to write this review so my orthodontist could not take me in at the time and I urgently needed an appointment so I called here which is my primary dental office .A very sweet lady named Sandra who happens to be the manger took me in even though they were closed .She was very nice and made me feel so comfortable .Sandra is great She took care of everything that I needed I felt very reassured when I left !

I was referred here by a dear friend of mine and I have never had the experience of comfert at a dental office until today. Dr. Hakopyan took care of my needs right away and his assistant Annie is the best at making you feel convertible and happy. You can't say that about any other dental office. I appreciate the quick and caring help that I was provided with thank you all so much!
