Dr. Kinney grew up in Indiana, departing for the military after high school. He spent the next five years in the Marine Corps as a crew chief on a CH-46E helicopter, serving two deployments to OIF/OEF during that time. After his military service, he earned his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University & doctorate from the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ASDOH). Dr. Kinneys passion for dentistry began when an incident involving facial trauma left him disfigured as a young adult which set him on a path in which dentists restored his bite & smile. Dr. Kinney shows that same compassion to each one of his patients, just as he was shown many years ago. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kinney enjoys snowboarding, hunting, fishing, scuba diving, golf & football. Dr. Kinney is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Arizona Dental Association (AzDA) & the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), & participates in local SPEAR study clubs.
My inspiration for joining the dental field is all due to my wonderful aunt who has been a hygienist for nearly 30 years. I expressed to her I had some interest in the field & she allowed me to come observe her. After that day, I knew it was the right field for me. I graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Eager to work, I started one month later at Verde Dental Care, where I have been for the past three years. In my spare time, I love spending time with my husband & family. Our favorite thing to do is to take road trips while singing in the car the entire way!

I was impressed with the whole experience. Very thorough checkup. Gentle, effective cleaning with water seems more gentle. Hygienist and dentist were efficient, friendly, informative and professional. Reception area was also well managed.

Dr. Kinney and crew, organized, professional and the best results. He is the best Dentist I have ever seen and I am 70. Just perfect work. Never have to go back for redo. Just got three front crowns and my smile is beautiful. He suggested earlier and should have listened to him. He is truly remarkable. Thank you. The whole crew!

I have not visited Verde Dental for about 3 years due to the pandemic. My visit this week reinforced my opinion of the staff at Verde Dental as some of the kindest, gentlest, group of professionals I have known. They "fit me into" their busy schedule on short notice and their technical skills are above and beyond what is common.

This is an amazing practice! We are traveling and happened to be in Camp Verde when my husband had a problem with one of his teeth. His regular dentist has been skirting around that tooth for a couple of years until it became an emergency. Thankfully it happened in Camp Verde. The problem was solved in one day. We are still on the road but are willing to drive hours to get our teeth taken care of at Verde Dental Care!

Always a great experience!! Rebekah does extremely thorough cleanings and always explains things to me in and easy way to understand. Dr. Kinney is a kind dentist that will make you feel comfortable and well taken care of. Overall, a great location for unmatched dental care.

Front office staff were efficient and friendly Dental Hygienist Amanda was professional and friendly, she did an excellent job and was very knowledgeable. Dr. Sean was kind, gentle, friendly, professional, upbeat, told me what he was going to do during procedures. Answered my questions with patience. Technology used in office made receiving new dental patient dental care and (crown) "easier". Crown was made at the same appointment, didn't have to go back again for permanent crown. Office was clean and bright, support staff, dental assistants were friendly and professional.
