Azadeh Shahab, DMD earned her dental degree with high honors from Boston University. Prior to that, she has graduated with a master's degree as well as clinical training in the field of periodontology. She also has a published article in the Archives of Medical science.
Dr. Shahab regularly attends continuing education classes and participates in different seminars in the field of dentistry. She maintains professional memberships in both the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society. When she is not at her second home in the office, she likes to spend time with her family.

I just had my second appointment at Venus Dental. I'm a nervous patient with sensitive teeth. Lisa, the hygienist, was patient and gentle. Usually, it feels like dental appointments drag on for so long, but this felt relatively easy. I'm so happy I found this practice!

Dr. Shahab crowned one of my teeth in only one session. The cleanness and timely service was impressive and the quality and technology she used were the best that I experienced.

The staff & Dr Shahab couldn't have been more welcoming! I am pleased to be a member of Venus Dental! Yesterday Feb 8th, I had my crown done. The attention to detail with this procedure is incredible. Dr Shahab & staff took great care of me & answered all my questions & concerns! I am in good hands!

Just had a lot of dental work done - a crown and two fillings. Dr. Shahab and her staff are always warm and welcoming. Covid safety protocols are excellent. The services are professional with up-to-date equipment. As the dental work progresses, every step was explained and I was consulted. I highly recommend Venus Dental. I have been visiting Maynard Dental for 5 years now. Dr, Shahab and her staff are super kind and receptive. I had a routine cleaning yesterday and the COVID safety precautions were excellent and service great.

All the staff members are warm and welcoming, which makes this usually daunting task set me at ease. They are also caring, understanding and take personal and medical issues into account while treating me. I could not be happier with them!

I've been going to Venus Dental for several years now ( after years of not-so-great experiences with other dentists ) Dr. Shahab and her staff are wonderful as always, but even more so during COVID. I had recent dental work and the safety protocols were excellent.

I just switched over here after leaving my previous beloved dentist when a corporate entity took them over and I was very impressed. The hygienist, Lisa, was very nice and made me feel really comfortable and she did a great job with my cleaning considering I have a bad gag reflex (I didn't gag at all) and she found 4 cavities that my previous corporate dentist never told me about and I go every 3 months, so clearly something sketchy was going on there. She and Dr. Shahab actually took a few quick pics of the cavities for my file and showed them to me and explained them and I could clearly see the cavities and I have no dental experience whatsoever so I'm very glad I left the corporate dentist because I suspect they were going to wait until they needed to become root canals. I am already scheduled for my fillings and Dr. Shahab was very knowledgeable and I also love that it's a woman-owned business. Very pleased so far!

Great dental office. I've been going here for over a year and they're fantastic. Today, they even combined two fillings into one visit, which saves me time and was super convenient. I highly recommend coming here for your dental needs.

My family has been going to Venus Dental for a few years and think that Dr Shahab is excellent. I had a small chip on my front tooth and during a visit to took care of that in the same day. The office also offers same day crowns and helps navigate the our unclear dental coverage.
