Dr. Kimberly Forney earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University in her native city of Boston, MA. To further refine and expand her repertoire she completed a post-graduate residency in general practice dentistry at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in Bronx, NY. Endodontics had been a keen interest to Dr. Forney since her early days of undergraduate dental school. While in general practice this endodontic inclination matured to a focused passion. Dr. Forney then went on to receive her specialty training in Endodontics at Rutgers University in New Jersey. She practiced in a multi doctor private endodontic practice in New Jersey up until moving west in 2019.
Dr. Forney believes that compassionate care combined with exceptional technical skill is central to superlative care. She strives to make every patient's experience as pleasant as possible from diagnosis to treatment completion.
Dr. Forney is a member of the American Association of Endodontics, California Dental Association, and the California State Association of Endodontists. She is a regular attendant at educational symposiums.
In her free time, Dr. Forney is thrilled to spend time with her best friend and husband, Ryan, and their exceptionally adorable children, Marigold and Beau. She also greatly enjoys as many full days on the beach as possible, basking in nature, running, reading well written books, and traveling.

We use special operating microscopes, adapted for dentistry, during phases of your endodontic treatment. The use of thesemicroscopesallow us to visualize fine details, up to 20x the magnification of the naked eye, inside your tooth. We also usedigital radiographyto take x-rays of your teeth, which be can viewed on montiors in each treatment room. Our dental software allows your dentist to view all phases of your treatment via computer, as well as allowing you to register and update all information at your convienence online at anytime.

A root canal is never a fun time but Dr. Duarte made my experience painless & comfortable. I suffer with severe dental anxiety which lead me needing the root canal to begin with. Dr. Duarte was understanding and nonjudgmental, she has the most gentle demeanor, she walked me through everything as it was happening and continually made sure I was ok. The entire staff was friendly, helpful and made me feel completely comfortable. The office is extremely clean and I appreciated the attention to health safety. This was my second visit. Dr. Duarte and her staff are consistently wonderful. From check-in to post-treatment instructions, you feel welcome. She carefully explains step by step the procedure in real time ensuring you are comfortable. I appreciate her calm and professional bedside manner. The clinic staff is equally polite. Dr. Duarte is now my preferred choice in endodontics care.

Actually,I went to Ventura Endodontics this time, not my husband Bruce. I was very impressed with Dr Duarte even though she couldn't help my dental issue. She is patient, very kind and explains everything in layman terms.My only criticism is that both my husband and I had to wait nearly a month to see either her or Dr Jue and both our issues were serious. Yes , our insurance limited us to only those doctors but they should have some flexibility to see a patient like me who was dealing with a serious gum infection and a great deal of pain. This may be the most friendly, polite and professional office I have ever dealt with. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming, both on the phone and in the office. The doctors are absolutely great about returning phone calls...including the on call doctor, Dr Duarte, when Dr Yamamoto was out of town. I was dealing with a lot of pain and both doctors made sure I got antibiotics right away. The office staff is wonderful. I would recommend this dental practice to anyone needing endodontical services.

Who would have thought that going to the Endodontist would be so enjoyable!!! The staff were all so personable! Then you are brought back to the exam room with a view of paradise! It was pretty nice! We saw Dr Juu, amazing. He broke it down for us and explained it simply and thoroughly. I trust that my daughter is receiving the best care here!
