Highly educated and trained, Dr. Derrick Veneman graduated from theUniversity of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1986. After practicing as a dentist for a short time in Wisconsin, he returned to Minnesota and joined a practice in Oakdale that he later purchased in 1989. He then founded Aesthetic Dental Arts, P.A. and purchased a practice in his present location in Maplewood. Dr. Veneman opened the Saint Croix Falls office in 2003. In his personal life, Dr. Veneman and his wife Mary currently reside in Pine Springs Minnesota, where they raised their four grown children. They enjoy boating, bicycling, movies, reading and playing with their dog.
Dr. Kelsey Veneman received her undergraduate degree in microbiology from the University of Wisconsin Madison and then went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and Certificate of Public Health from the Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health. Upon graduation, Kelsey returned to her home state to begin practicing with her father, Dr. Derrick Veneman, in our Minnesota and Wisconsin offices. Kelsey and her husband, Evan, enjoy the outdoors and staying active with their Labrador retriever, Wick. Kelsey has memberships in American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Spear Study Club. Kelsey is happy to be home practicing dentistry with her father and is excited to progress in her dental career by attending continuous by attending continuing education courses and furthering her training in implant dentistry.
Tim attended the Rochester Community and Technical College, and has been working in the dental field for 14 years. He performs dental cleanings, taking x-rays, periodontal treatment, and fluoride treatment. For fun he likes fishing, gardening, reading, spending time with family and friends, and is an active member of his church.
Tammy began her career as a CDRA in 1985. She is the office manager at the Maplewood location. Outside the office she enjoys spending time with family and traveling to Cincinnati to see her beautiful granddaughter, as well as going to the cabin and watching sports; Go Vikes, Twins and Wild!
Kelly brings over 20 years of experience with me as a clinician. She started in the field as a dental assistant and transitioned to an office administrator. Kelly enjoys the friendships she has made with our patients over the years andfeels very fortunate to be a part of such a wonderful team of dental professionals.She is married and has three children that keep her very busy. Outside of the office she loves spending time with her family and friends, attending sporting events, time outdoors and traveling.
Melinda graduated from Lakeland Medical & Dental Academy and has been in the dental field since 1994. Melinda loves helping patients and getting to know them. She enjoys assisting the doctors and learning the latest technological advancements. Melinda has three children and five grandchildren that she just adores. She enjoys the outdoors, hunting, walking, biking, swimming, skiing, beach vacations, and spending time with the family and friends.
Mary lives in Lake Elmo, Minnesota with her husband John and there three dogs. Mary and John have one son. Mary has many areas of interest outside of work. Currently she is involved in knitting, crochet, and sewing. She really became interested in the dental field as a high school student. She saw an orthodontist regularly for her braces, and really enjoyed science classes! She put the two together and her love for dental hygiene was born!
Mary is very happy to be working with Dr. Veneman and Dr. Kelsey! She enjoys helping patients to become fully invested in improving their oral and systemic health! She will try to accomplish this through education and individualizing treatment to each of her patients! A healthy mouth will help create a healthy body!

Amazing! Everything about this dental office is superb! Makes going to the dentist a pleasure. From basic cleanings to extractions, none better. Don't know how they do it ~ you almost feel like you are in your living room visiting with family/friends while there. Wish I could give more than five stars!

When I was a young child I had a traumatic experience during a dental procedure. Unfortunately it turned into a huge fear, anxiety, panic attacks just thinking of going to the dental office even for cleanings. Because of this I would put off cleanings and such until I had a problem with my teeth that I could not ignore. I took the leap a few years ago and went to Dr. V's SCF office. Best decision! I don't know how to explain but for the most part I am comfortable in the chair. I have had 4 crowns, along with fillings, replacing the old silver fillings. He takes his time, explains things, jokes, it's all about the patient. I just can't believe but am grateful for this change. Everyone in the office is so friendly and kind. They are the best!!!

I really like the St. Croix Falls office and its staff. They explain in detail, as much or little, as you want to know of what they're going to do. I personally don't need to know allot, just open my mouth and let them in. Very gentle Dr's and great assistants! Jill at the front desk is on top of the billing and insurance. Great personal care at St. Croix Falls!

Dr Derek and Dr Kelsey Veneman along with their staff are top notch in the dental field along with their services and professional employees. I've been too many different dentist in my life, and I'm pretty hard to please. But I will be parking my business will them as long as they let me. With the 3 offices they have to serve you, there's no reason to go anywhere else. In fact if you don't make an appointment and at least see what I'm saying...... Its your loss.

I was looking for a new dentist in the Taylors Falls area after just moving here. I found Veneman Dental's website which felt so inviting and just what I was looking for with sedation services. After first meeting with Dr V and then Dr Kelsey I was able to move past sedation and have been so happy with the care I have received there. I would recommend their clinic to anyone looking for a new dentist!!

I love, love, love this location! I have been going to Veneman Dental in St. Croix Falls, WI since about 2007. All of the staff is always so personal and kind. My husband has been trying to get me to switch to a dentist closer to home (I live in Somerset now) and I refuse to do so. I am excited to bring my little guy for his first appointment in 6 months! I can't recommend a better dentist office!

Highly recommended!! I am SO very happy with Dr. Veneman & the entire staff here -- it is well worth the hour that I drive to this office. Years ago I needed a root canal, and it was the best root canal I ever had. And Jill is SO helpful; when I needed a prescription refill she went out of her way to get it for me.

Always does a great job for me and my family. The St Croix Falls staff is superb and super friendly. They work hard to make sure you are relaxed and explain everything they are doing. If you are someone who maybe doesn't always take care of your teeth the way you should they will never scold you. Top notch staff starting with a friendly greeting from Jill to Dr. Kelsey sending you a personal follow up text as needed. The assistants Cory and Allison are fabulous too!

I recommend Dr. Veneman. On my first visit he gave me such a thorough exam pointing out issues my former dentist overlooked. He just completed putting two molar implants in my lower right side. He did a fabulous job. Very comparable prices as well!!! He is awesome!!

I switched to Veneman dental in St. Croix Falls, almost four years ago. Dr.V, & Dr.Kelsey are absolutely phenomenal. A very friendly and warm environment. Very through, gentle, & great care. The entire staff is marvelous!!
