Highly educated and trained, Dr. Derrick Veneman graduated from theUniversity of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1986. After practicing as a dentist for a short time in Wisconsin, he returned to Minnesota and joined a practice in Oakdale that he later purchased in 1989. He then founded Aesthetic Dental Arts, P.A. and purchased a practice in his present location in Maplewood. Dr. Veneman opened the Saint Croix Falls office in 2003. In his personal life, Dr. Veneman and his wife Mary currently reside in Pine Springs Minnesota, where they raised their four grown children. They enjoy boating, bicycling, movies, reading and playing with their dog.
Dr. Kelsey Veneman received her undergraduate degree in microbiology from the University of Wisconsin Madison and then went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and Certificate of Public Health from the Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health. Upon graduation, Kelsey returned to her home state to begin practicing with her father, Dr. Derrick Veneman, in our Minnesota and Wisconsin offices. Kelsey and her husband, Evan, enjoy the outdoors and staying active with their Labrador retriever, Wick. Kelsey has memberships in American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Spear Study Club. Kelsey is happy to be home practicing dentistry with her father and is excited to progress in her dental career by attending continuous by attending continuing education courses and furthering her training in implant dentistry.
Tim attended the Rochester Community and Technical College, and has been working in the dental field for 14 years. He performs dental cleanings, taking x-rays, periodontal treatment, and fluoride treatment. For fun he likes fishing, gardening, reading, spending time with family and friends, and is an active member of his church.
Tammy began her career as a CDRA in 1985. She is the office manager at the Maplewood location. Outside the office she enjoys spending time with family and traveling to Cincinnati to see her beautiful granddaughter, as well as going to the cabin and watching sports; Go Vikes, Twins and Wild!
Kelly brings over 20 years of experience with me as a clinician. She started in the field as a dental assistant and transitioned to an office administrator. Kelly enjoys the friendships she has made with our patients over the years andfeels very fortunate to be a part of such a wonderful team of dental professionals.She is married and has three children that keep her very busy. Outside of the office she loves spending time with her family and friends, attending sporting events, time outdoors and traveling.
Melinda graduated from Lakeland Medical & Dental Academy and has been in the dental field since 1994. Melinda loves helping patients and getting to know them. She enjoys assisting the doctors and learning the latest technological advancements. Melinda has three children and five grandchildren that she just adores. She enjoys the outdoors, hunting, walking, biking, swimming, skiing, beach vacations, and spending time with the family and friends.
Mary lives in Lake Elmo, Minnesota with her husband John and there three dogs. Mary and John have one son. Mary has many areas of interest outside of work. Currently she is involved in knitting, crochet, and sewing. She really became interested in the dental field as a high school student. She saw an orthodontist regularly for her braces, and really enjoyed science classes! She put the two together and her love for dental hygiene was born!
Mary is very happy to be working with Dr. Veneman and Dr. Kelsey! She enjoys helping patients to become fully invested in improving their oral and systemic health! She will try to accomplish this through education and individualizing treatment to each of her patients! A healthy mouth will help create a healthy body!
