Dr. Eric D. Velk has lived in the area for the past 33 years. He is a graduate of Lake Elsinore High School. He attended St. Mary's College where he played Division I baseball and received his BS in Biology/Chemistry in 1992. Dr. Eric graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in 1996. He received an academic scholarship from the United States Navy where he served as a Lieutenant Commander. After completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the Naval Dental Center San Diego, he served one additional tour of duty on the USS Constellation, CV-64.
In 2001, he and his wife, Dr. Angela Velk, started Velk Family Dentistry at their current location. They have been married for over 20 years and have two children. Dr. Eric enjoys tropical vacations and scuba diving.
Dr. Angela K. Velk was one of two students accepted early admission to the accelerated 6 year dental program at Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry, where she graduated with honors and received her BS and D.D.S. in 1994. She received an academic scholarship from the United States Navy where she served as a Lieutenant Commander. After completing a General Practice Residency program at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, she served two additional duty stations as a general dentist in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and the Naval Medical Center San Diego.
Dr. Angela married her dental school sweetheart and they have been in private practice together in Wildomar, California for 14 years. They have two children and enjoy family time wake boarding and snow skiing.

Best dentist I've been to. They're friendly and communicate extremely well. Don't live anywhere near them and haven't in quite a while. Whenever I visit family in Lake Elsinore I like to make an appointment with Velk Family Dentistry instead of my local dentist at home.

Dr Eric Velk is So Skilled, also patient and humorous while being supported by a kind office staff. Best dentist I've ever had. You need Velk Family Dentistry. I'm quite sure you will be very satisfied.

I required medical treatment in 2006 wherein the doctor advised that all dental concerns be addressed before moving forward with the medical treatment. Velk Family Dentistry was recommended. The staff is very pleasant and professional. Treatments received are never extraordinary.

My family and I had recently moved to the area and we needed to find a local dentist. Velk Family Dentistry came up during our search and we decided to give it a try and scheduled an appt. Let me tell you, I had a great experience! Everyone was so welcoming and caring. Dr. Velk's the best! I'm so happy we found our new family dentist! Definitely recommend them!

Spending nearly 10 years looking for the right dentist, I am so grateful to find Velk Family Dentistry. So many other dentists I've been to in the inland empire I felt we're trying to rip me off like saying I needed 3 crowns and giving me 4 different pricing options and etc. It felt like I was buying a car! Doctor Eric is so personable, gentle, and most important, upfront and explains the details to you that I felt so comfortable and confident under his care. Plus he performs root canals and crowns himself! All the other dentists I've seen always referred me to a specialist but this man does it all! That's how skilled he is! The same night after I did my root canal he even called me personally to make sure everything felt fine and that I was doing good. You cannot go wrong making Velk Family Dentistry your family dentist! From someone who is afraid of the dentist, I highly recommend coming here.

First I want to say I was beyond nervous to go my teeth worked on. I kept postponing and postponing the work that needed to be done. After today I have a totally different attitude and feeling about going to the dentist. I don't think it's any dentist, but the amazing job that Dr. Velk and his staff did. I look forward to seeing the Velk office staff again. Thank You!

I have been going to Velk Family Dentistry since they first opened. Both Doctor Eric and Doctor Angela Velk are kind, professional, and compassionate dentists. The hygienists and the rest of the office staff, as well, are thoroughly competent and make the patient feel at ease throughout the entire appointment time. I completely trust this dental office with the routine care of my teeth, as well as any more complex dental procedures. I would not hesitate to recommend Velk Family Dentistry to anyone---young or old----who is looking for a competent dental office in the Murrieta area.

Dr. Eric and Dr. Angela are beyond the best dentists I have ever experienced. I have been to another practice and it was a horrible experience. I had a root canal from that former dentist who left to roots behind which caused an infection, and lead me to have to pay a specialist in San Diego to correct the problem. When I started going back to the Dr. Velk's, I realized that phenomenal dentists DO exist. Dr. Eric just perform the second root canal I've ever had, and it was pain-free and beautiful. Dr. Angela is always so attentive and kind when I go in for my regular cleanings. I am a huge scaredy-cat of going to the dentist but because of these 2 dentists, I no longer fear it. My experience at Bear Creek was horrible, but my experience at Velk as been tremendous. Thank you so much for helping me stay pain-free. I will never go anywhere else, ever again.

After experiencing a horrible infection and pain from a wisdom tooth I decided it was time to find a dentist in the Wildomar / Murrieta location. Googling family dentistry I found Dr Velk's offices and I am so happy with the experience I needed to share. A few years ago I went into a different dentist trying to have my wisdom teeth removed and it was so horrible I had so many different sales packages pushed on me and felt that I was trying to be taken for all I was worth. Having visited Dr Velk I feel I have found a forever dentist! He was so kind and walked me through every step of the processes while he expertly removed my tooth with limited discomfort and barely any pain after wards! Highly recommend this dentist and office. His staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable as well!
