Dr. Veilands received her bachelors degree in microbiology at Louisiana State University in 1991 and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at LSU School of Dentistry in 1995, where she ranked in the top 5% of her class. She continued her education at the University of Tennessee, Memphis Health Science Center, where she completed her masters degree in orthodontics in 1998.
Dr. Veilands has received numerous honors and awards including, a National Institute of Health grant for her research in periodontics and an award from the American Academy of General Dentistry and the Academy of Periodontology. She was also inducted into the National Honor Society Omicron Kappa Upsilon and C. Edmond Kells Honor Society.

Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our treatment team is a certified clinical assistant, and our office staff has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

Dr. Veilands is such a skilled orthodontist. Her staff is polite and very skilled. Not sure who that Jenny Ton is or who worked on her, but i've had every assistant work on my three kids and I, and we've never had a problem with any of the staff members. Love this office! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I came here a year ago to fix my lingual wire retainer, the assistant was very sloppy and not well educated. I had to come back the very next day for her to fix it again. I hadn't had high hopes after I left, but I paid them. Now the glue crumbled off where she had ''fixed'' it. Horrible job, I am not coming back here. I wish I could get my money back, and get it done somewhere else. How she did it: she put ultra-etch on, differenly did NOT wait 20-30 seconds, before she removes it. Literally 1 second on my tooth and she flushed it away. Then she started to prepare the tooth, did not wait for the material to do its job, put the light on it for 3 seconds. You are suppose to keep the light on for 60 seconds! Then she packs on a THICK layer of glue, uses light 60 seconds. You should build up the glue layer by layer, so it dries all hardend. So the aftermath of all this. The glue is CRUMBLING off, thanks a lot! Even left me with all that dust in my mouth, shouldn't you flush it away too? Go get your team educated.

I have just learned that my daughter did not like her last 3 visits. The last young lady who actually worked on her mouth was very rude and uncaring. This is not the service I'm used to. My son was a patient here years ago and customer service awesome but I guess, just as with anything else, things change. #Lookingforaneworthodontic
