Walking into Vaya Dental for the first time it felt like my kids and I belonged. Kismet and Tre quickly checked us in and in a matter of minutes we all were in the back getting x-rays, and cleanings. The hygienist Gina was very thorough and the doctors were nice. It was also great to meet Gabby the office manager smiling while scheduling future appointments. I Highly recommend using them for all of your dental needs.

They were very informative and detailed. They were pleasant and gentle. If you are looking for the best dental experience this is your dentist office! Dr. Wason and Dani were fantastic and made my child feel special and relaxed through out her treatment! She's 6 and gave them two thumbs up herself!

I came here because I was told this was a pretty good location. I was seen back in the Spring Time. I was told I needed a certain type of cleaning done before they would touch any of my teeth to avoid any further issues. Now all the issues we were supposedly avoiding, I have. The cleaning they need done was denied by Medicaid due to the necessary info not being provided. They said they have asked for it and Vaya Dental did not respond nor did they tell me anything was needed. Medicaid started the info that's needed has to be provided by the dentist. I have been going back and forth with Medicaid. I've called Vaya a few times with no answer. Left a voicemail and STILL TILL THIS DAY, NO ONE HAS CALLED ME BACK!! No voicemail, nothing. Nor explained why the information was not sent. If it required a new appointment, it was too easy to reach out to me and schedule it. I even left the info on where Medicaid said for the company to provide that info. I called about a week or two ago, finally get someone on the phone. I tell him the issue and that I will also need a new appointment at this point because my issues have gotten worse. He tells me he's new, takes all my information, puts me on hold for some time and tells me that his Supervisor keeps the info on file and that someone will be reaching out to me. Still have not received a call, email nothing. I would not recommend this location at all. I came here for help and they dropped the ball tremendously. I've never had to deal with anything like this at any dental establishment in the past and now I have issues that could have been avoided. *Update: Because I'm sure I only got the call because of the review... I returned the call when I was off from work. I get put on hold and was told by the lady that answered the phone that she didn't know why anyone would have called me. She didn't see anything. How do you not document anything?? Or record when patients are notified and when they call in??I simply hung up in frustration because I am so tired of explaining myself over and over again. It is now mid October. Maybe another location. The actual doctor and person that did the exams back in May were okay. I'm just going to assume that they aren't the actual ones that push everything through. Again, don't waste your time with this office. Maybe better luck with another location. Defeated is an understatement and I'm still now worse off than when I came in. No need for a response or another call that will fall through the cracks. I am completely turned off from the company as a whole.

the manager Gaby is very rude and seemed inconvenienced instead of willing to assist. Not a good look for a manager whatsoever.

I try not to leave negative reviews since I am understanding and compromising, however, since that grace was not given in return I feel the need to share. During my time with this practice I had a great experience with the Doctors. However I'd like to make everyone aware of two grievances. First, being a single mom of two, a business owner, and working multiple jobs, my schedule can get kind of hectic and I sometimes need to reschedule. Due to illness (Covid exposure), I needed to reschedule my last appointment. I notified them via response to a reminder text, which was shortly after I was notified of the exposure. Since I didn't do it in the 48 hr timeframe, Gabby the office manager notified me that I will NEVER be able to schedule with them again and instead I'd have to do same day appointments and hope they have availability. While I understand the policy, I do believe that this response was a little extreme. I can understand this policy being for a specified timeframe but for this to be a permanent thing is extreme. If you are a single mom juggling kids, work, and just life, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. Secondly, during one of my scheduled appointments, we were left sitting in the lobby for an hour waiting, only to be informed that we were forgotten about. This was shocking to me because I made sure to inform the office staff that my son was waiting and specifically asked them to make sure the doctor knew. We ended up having to reschedule since the doctor could not fit us in after waiting an hour past our appointment time. Again, with a hectic schedule, this was largely inconvenient but I decided to extend grace & compassion to this practice because sometimes, life just happens. We will be leaving this practice and I hope that Gabby and this company will consider revising this policy in the future. Editing since the company edited their response to my review after speaking to Gabby again on the phone: I did not feel a need to discuss in detail the prior RESCHEDULES that I made because we discussed this over the phone. But we can discuss it here as well. Again, The instances that you are referring to were reschedules and not missed appointments. In which I did briefly discuss in the beginning of my review "as a single mother and business owner my schedule can get hectic causing a need to reschedule." All instances were communicated. And I took accountability by stating that I respect the 48 hour policy however unfortunately those two instances were out of my control as far as timing. What I said about the policy being extreme still stands. I can understand not allowing my child to book an appointment for a specified timeframe but not permanently. I think it is really distasteful to not only edit your response after we've already spoke on the phone but to completely ignore my concerns and word it as if you and your desk staff have no responsibility in this and then to flat out lie and say that I didn't communicate when I have proof that I did. You are going out of the way to cover yourself instead of truly taking care of your patients and it shows. Again, if you are a single mom, avoid this location. Gabby lacks empathy, accountability, understanding, and professionalism. And quite frankly, I don't think you care if we leave the practice at all. Sounds good though.

It's not easy getting a tooth pulled. But the team at Vaya is phenomenal. The doctor, her assistant, the anesthetic technician and the front office staff were all caring and helpful. Every step is thoroughly explain to you so you know what is about to take place. I told my daughter I would rather lay in a bed of spiders and snakes then get a tooth polled, but as a Vaya patient, I'll take the tooth pulled.

Don't really like this location only here because they seem to be one of the few places that only take people with Medicaid at the moment no one is helping me with my needs at all and no one gets back in touch with you as needed
