Just blocks away from the American Museum of Natural History, and the lush, serene grounds of Central Park, Dr. Vardy's office truly encompasses the meaning behind her practice - providing successful orthodontic treatment in a tremendously warm and caring environment, and allowing every patient to feel like a member of her immediate family.
Dr. Vardy genuinely loves her work as an orthodontist. Her many years of dedication and commitment to orthodontics and her community have allowed her to establish the ideal practice she operates today. Dr. Vardy is a professional in every sense of the word. From the very beginning, she dedicated her time and energy to perfecting her skills in dentistry to become one of the leading orthodontic providers in New York. Her determination to provide her patients with the highest quality never falters.
Dr. Vardy began her dental school training at Harvard University's School of Dental Medicine, and then transferred to New York University College of Dentistry so that she could be close to ailing family members. She obtained her dental degree at NYUCD and remained there to complete her Post Doctoral Specialty Training in Orthodontics in 1993.
Continuing education is an important part of Dr. Vardy's commitment to orthodontics. There are always new treatments and techniques being developed, and she strives to offer the most advanced treatment options, which include, but are not limited to:
In 1993, Dr. Vardy was awarded the Ron Lorber Achievement Award as chosen by an elite committee of orthodontists and based on her exceptional level of skill, commitment and energy as an orthodontist. In February 2003, Dr. Vardy was again selected by a prestigious and nationally recognized panel of orthodontists who commended her for the high level of standards she upholds both in her diagnostic abilities and her treatment results, after which she received Diplomate status with the American Board of Orthodontics.
Two of the most important things in life are family and friends. Dr. Vardy feels blessed to be part of such a wonderful community - a place where she is able to share her passion for life and helping others.
It is through her limitless enthusiasm and devotion for orthodontics that Dr. Vardy is able to be involved in not only her local community, but the global community as well. Whether she is mentoring the Pre-dental Undergraduate Columbia University students, writing a column in the Upper West Side Neighborhood Gazette about the importance of dental care, volunteering as a dentist for the First District Dental Society's Skate Safe program in Harlem, or traveling the globe to provide dental care for impoverished children and adults, Dr. Vardy's passion for her profession continues to thrive as she looks forward to the next opportunity to share the gift of a beautiful smile.

Dr.Vardy is a true professional. I loved her team too. My son was so happy with her and what an amazing job she did! She was so caring, articulate, and thorough Looking forward to our second son in braces. She really makes a difference. My son's smile and mine could not be fuller!! Very well done!

Came to Dr. Vardy based on Yelp reviews. I am just in NYC for school and my permanent retainer from years ago broke. She was able to quickly fit me in to help me fix it and work with my personal needs. Dr. Vardy clearly takes great pride in her work and takes tons of time to speak with and educate her patients. I am glad I found her and feel like I have a much better understanding of my oral health moving forward.

Our son has been under Dr. Vardy's care since 2020. After unsuccessful treatment with another dentist we found Dr. Vardy, and she put enormous amount of efforts, energy and care and fixed the problem. We would absolutely recommend Dr. Vardy. She is highly professional, and she puts her soul in what she does, and that shows in the results. That is why we drive from Pennsylvania to NYC to see her. Thank you Dr. Vardy and the whole team!!!

Dr. Vardy and her expert team have taken wonderful care of my family for years. What sets the Vardy Orthodonics practice apart, in my view, is the personalized care which is becoming increasingly rare in medicine. Dr. Vardy has a talent for empowering her patients to achieve better health. Indeed since becoming her patient, treatment provided to my son has translated to a marked improvement in his sleep quality which has only positive downstream effects. Who doesn't want better sleep? Communication is a snap. The Vardy practice uses an app for everything from appointments to sending photos of any issues to documents, insurance paperwork, records etc. In short, Vardy Orthodontics makes what can be a stressful experience -- orthodontic work -- an absolute breeze. Highly recommended for the stressed out New Yorker!

Dr. Vardy is the most professional, skilled, and detail-oriented orthodontist you will ever find. She took my very challenging case after my local orthodontist turned it down (saying it was too difficult) and she has done an exceptional job, with incredible results as proof. She and her staff maintain a strong communication with their patients when outside the office; I am able to reach out with any issue immediately, provide a picture, and Dr. Vardy assesses what should be done moving forward. Dr. Vardy took her time with my case and made sure I understood my treatment plan and throughout the entire process, she's been incredibly thorough. To say she has instilled confidence in me is an understatement already, even now that there is still some work to be done. I am more than happy to commute from New Jersey to either of her offices (Manhattan or Long Island) as I feel comforted knowing that Dr. Vardy goes above and beyond to provide me the care I need and was unable to get from others in her field. I can't recommend her enough.

My daughter came to Dr Vardy after another orthodontist left her in a very bad situation. After a full course of treatment my daughter had a cross bite that could potentially fracture her teeth. We went for a second opinion and were told that she'd need jaw surgery. We were beside ourselves until we met Dr Vardy. She was an absolute blessing! She accomplished what other dentists said was impossible. She put my daughter back in braces, and with the aggressive use of rubber bands and head gear she managed to move my daughter's top jaw forward, preventing her from having jaw surgery, and giving her a healthy bite. We feel so fortunate to have come under the care of Dr Vardy! We are forever grateful!

We love Dr. Vardy! My son just got his braces off and looks fabulous. Dr. Vardy cares for her patients as if they were here own children. She has helped us with broken appliances on very short notice, even on weekends. Her Long Island office looks like something out of Architectural Digest. We never have to wait, and there is no parking problem. I was so happy with Dr. Vardy's care of my son that I decided to get Invisaligns, and now we both look great.

Dr. Vardy runs a wonderful practice! It's small so you really are taken care of, and even though I had braces with her 12 years ago, she still recently was really helpful in getting me new retainers

She has heart, compassion, soul, wisdom, insight and loves to share with every patient that has the blessing of being part of her practice. She is a perfectionist but in the very best of ways. She takes pride and joy in her work and it shows on all of her patients. I have known her now 11 months and I can't see myself with any doctor in NYC for treating my teeth but her. They made my braces experience the best experience. When I moved to NYC for dance I needed my smile to be as straight as possible. They were so welcoming and got to work super fast. It only took 9 months to finish my adult braces!
