Dr. Daniel Varallo graduated from Tufts University in 1993, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He continued his education at Indiana University, where he completed his orthodontic residency and received a Master of Science degree in Dentistry in 1995.
Dr. Varallo maintains a membership with the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society, American Dental Association, and the American Association of Orthodontists. He currently serves as Treasurer of the New England Damon study club and represents the Middlesex District on the council of membership of the Massachusetts Dental Society.
Dr. Varallo is committed to giving back to his dental community, especially in Arlington & Burlington, MA, and has been recognized in the Journal of Massachusetts Dental Society as a William McKenna Volunteer Hero. These are members who have gone above and beyond to help the Massachusetts Dental Society achieve its goals, inspire colleagues, and advance the profession of dentistry.
Dr. Varallo understands the importance of staying current with the latest technological advances in the field of orthodontics. He regularly attends seminars and lectures on the most comprehensive treatments, including the Damon System and Invisalign.
At Varallo Orthodontics, we believe that teamwork matters; with more than 100 years of combined orthodontic experience, our Clinical and Administrative Teams work together to provide our patients with superior care and treatment with the highest level of customer service.
Our Orthodontic Assistants are critical participants in our patients care. Under the direction and supervision of Dr. Varallo, they will make your visits with us as short as possible, while also taking the time to listen to you, answer your questions, and explain what they will be doing. Our Orthodontic Assistants have extensive experience working with children and will take the time necessary to make you and your child feel comfortable.
Each Orthodontic Assistant is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. They are certified in Radiology and CPR. The Clinical Team undergoes extensive training and continuing education in the latest technologies, including iTero, Invisalign, Damon Braces, and Propel.
We donate thousands to local schools annually through our Partners in Education program. In addition, Dr. Varallo regularly supports local organizations like the Arlington Boys and Girls Club, Arlington Eats, Arlington Youth Baseball, Burlington Education Foundation, Burlington Youth Baseball, and many more.

Dr. Varallo and all his team are very professional, very welcoming and friendly. At the begining of the treatment everything was very well explained from the payment options to the length expected. They have 2 locations which is very convenient. All my appointments were always on time. They did an incredible job with my teeth, and now Im able to smile.

Having this work done as a adult is challenging enough but there is great team who has been extremely accommodating. Very straight forward in advise and setting my expectations. As we are approaching the finish line I am very happy with the results!!

I've been doing Invisalign here and could not be happier with my care. Dr. Varallo seems to have true expertise in this treatment and he's made sure I'm happy with how things are going throughout the entire process. The office staff are also wonderful and have been so accommodating to get me in despite the hectic work schedule I have! Would definitely recommend this practice to anyone!

I had a great Invisalign experience at Varallo and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for an Orthodontics office! They really listen to what your goals are, and adjust your treatment plan to make sure it focuses on what's important to you. In my instance, I had to work around a wedding and a vacation, and they made it happen. They made it very easy and I am super happy with the results.

Varallo Orthodontics has been fantastic with our son. When our older daughter had braces, we had used a different orthodontist. When it came time for our son to get braces, this other orthodontist pushed for oral surgery and ignored my wife's cautions about my son's sensory issues, so we sought the opinion of other orthodontists. Dr. Varallo offered a treatment that didn't include surgery and he was very sensitive to our son's issues. It was only after we started with Varallo Orthodontics that I learned of the full scope of the issues with the prior orthodontist, continually ignoring my wife's concerns and overruling her. Had I known of the issues, we would have switched long ago. In the end, our son didn't need surgery and he will soon be having his braces removed in about half the time of the other orthodontist. In fact, we had our daughter finalize her care with Varallo and never went back to the other office for her either. I can't recommend Varallo Orthodontics enough.
