Dr. Deanna Snitzers goals are to build lifetime relationships with her patients and to create healthy, beautiful smiles. She learned this commitment to the care of people at an early agesince she comes from a family of dentists! Dr. Snitzer is originally from St. Louis, Missouri. She received her undergraduate degree from Boston University and her DDS from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school Dr. Snitzer was a dentist for the Cherokee Nation in Oklahoma. She moved to Colorado and was a managing dentist in a private practice before joiningColorado Advanced Dentistryin 2012.
Dr. Snitzer was one of the first dentists in Colorado to offer the Pinhole Surgical Technique for gum recession. Dr. Snitzer has completed thousands of Pinhole Gum Surgery cases and has been faculty at Pinhole Academy with the inventor of the procedure since 2015. Dr Snitzer was the first dentist in Colorado (and one of the first in the world) to be awarded the designation of Advanced Pinhole Clinician.
She is passionate about providing the highest quality of dental care. Her belief is that the use of state-of-the-art tools andtechnologywill improve oral health for future generations to come. Through gentle and skillfully applied dental care, Dr. Snitzer provides her patients with the very best that dentistry has to offer.
Dr. Snitzer comes from a family of dentists, where she learned that the best foundation for a beautiful smile is a healthy periodontal condition. For this reason, she has made the treatment of gum disease and other gum problems a primary focus of her practice. Dr. Snitzer is trained in LANAP laser gum therapy, perhaps the mostinnovative gum therapyavailable today. Additionally, Dr. Snitzer offers the Pinhole Surgical Technique to her patients. This modern dental procedure is an affordable and less invasive alternative for the correction of gum recession. Dr. Snitzer has treated thousands of patients using Pinhole Gum Surgery and is also an Instructor at the Pinhole Academy, where she teaches the Pinhole procedure to Dentists from all over the world.
Dr. Snitzer believes to best serve her patients she must constantly stay abreast of new advances in dental technology and techniques. She believes that her DDS degree marked the start, not the end, of her ongoing dental education. Her research on Cone Beam Computed Tomography has been published in The American Association of Dental Research Journal.
