Dr. Ryan K. VanLaecken received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) in 1994 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. He practiced general dentistry for five years, receiving the Outstanding Young Dentist of South Dakota Award in 1997. In 1999, Dr. Ryan returned to school to obtain his Master of Science degree in Dentistry and his Certificate in Orthodontics from West Virginia University College of Dentistry in 2002. Dr. Ryan is passionate about providing quality orthodontic care.
In his spare time, Dr. Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and their four children, as well as traveling, golfing and pheasant hunting with his black lab, Bishop. Dr. Ryan and his wife are involved in many community and church activities as well as promoting the education of young people.
Dr. Rob S. VanLaecken is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics and the American Dental Association. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Nebraska in 2008. He completed his three-year orthodontic residency program, earning his Master of Science degree, at West Virginia University in 2011. He is board eligible for the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics.
In his free time, Dr. Rob enjoys golfing, curling, hunting and fishing. Dr. Rob, his wife, Kristin, and their children are involved in community and church activities. Dr. Rob also enjoys volunteering with PACH (People Against Child Hunger) and teaching CCD.
Dr. Nate T. VanLaecken is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics and the American Dental Association. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota in 2017. While there, he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society. He continued his education at the University of Minnesota where he completed his orthodontic residency program, earning his Master of Science Degree in 2019. He is board eligible for the College of Diplomats of the American Board of Orthodontics.
When hes not working, Dr. Nate and his wife, Kelley, enjoy spending time with their son, Rhett, daughter, Nora, and their dog, Duke. He enjoys golf, basketball, traveling, and spending time outdoors. He is looking forward to getting involved with the community through church, volunteer programs, and his sons activities.

Our practice has a digital x-ray machine, which means it is basically a photograph of the teeth and jaws. It uses far less radiation than a traditional x-ray machine. We will routinely take digital x-rays over the course of your time in braces to ensure treatment is going well and allow our doctors to make diagnostic decisions. Every patient will receive additional records in the middle of treatment to allow our doctors to make any adjustments, if needed, in the treatment plans. He will discuss these records with the parents or patient.

Scheduling was a breeze, appointments were quick but thorough, absolutely seamless process for our child and us. They handled her fears early on and she was excited to go visit the ortho! Recommend!

We have had an amazing experience so far! They are very courteous and efficient! Everyone that works there is super kind and very professional and compassionate! We hardly ever have to wait, usually less than 5 minutes. They are wonderful during the consultation, they lay everything out there so there are no hidden costs, and have a variety of payment plans. They let you know the expected time for treatment and everything that needs to be done. They involve my daughter with decisions she can make (rubber band choices, etc.) and they explain everything they are going to do before they do it. I will definitely be taking my next child here as he will need braces as well. I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else! The smile rewards is a nice benefit as well.

I have had Invisalign for about a half a year now and they have been amazing through out the whole experience. If you need Ortho work you should definitely come here.
