Dr. Vandersloot is a graduate of the University of Pacific School of Dentistry. He then attended the University of Washington for training in hospital dentistry and providing dental care to medically complex patients. He received his endodontic specialty certificate at the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Dentistry. Dr Vandersloot is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Joaquin Dental Society, is a Specialist Member of the American Association of Endodontists, and is Board Eligible with the American Board of Endodontics. In his spare time, Dr. Vandersloot enjoys cycling, running, participating in triathlons and spending time with his wife and two children.
Angelica is our Front Office Coordinator. She will likely be your point of contact when it comes to insurance and financial arrangements. Angelica has a very warm personality and will make sure that all of your financial needs are taken care of. Angelica also speaks fluent Spanish and would be happy to help with our Spanish-speaking patients. She lives in Tracy with her husband, daughter and son.
Jay is our Patient Care Coordinator/DA(Dental Assistant). You may see her bubbly personality either at the front desk or she may be assisting one of the doctors in the back office. She is our jack of all trades. Patients love Jay and we are happy to have her as part of the team. She lives in Lodi with her son.
Yvette is our lead RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) and has been with the practice since 2004. She is a highly skilled assistant with many years of experience. She is very compassionate and will make sure that you have a comfortable and warm experience in our office. Yvette lives in Tracy with her husband and two children.
Cristy is an RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) and has been with the practice since 2005. Cristy is an excellent assistant and has many years of experience. She is very warm and friendly and makes sure every patient is comfortable during any procedure in our office. She fills the office with laughter and has a way of putting patients at ease. Cristy lives with her husband and son in Tracy.

Dr Vandersloot office was amazing! The staff went above and beyond making me comfortable during my root canal . Andrea was extremely helpful, she took extra time making sure I was seen as soon as possible. Great office!

Hello Review People, I don't often do these reviews, but I just wanted everyone to know what an amazing experience I had today with my root canal done by Dentist/Surgeon Vandersloot . The office manager Jay, was very informative regarding my dental insurance and coverage as well as squeezing me in for an emergency root canal. Once taken in to the room, Dental assistants Kristie and Yvette ,were so kind and extremely knowledgeable and explained what will happen to me for this surgery. Then, Doctor Vandersloot came in and explained even more the procedure of the root canal . Trust me , I have never had one done and I was totally scared. Anyways , Dr. Vandersloot was so gentle during the 40 minute root canal, and told me each step he was doing .....yes, I timed it ....LOL . It was by far the best experience that I have ever had at the dentist..... and I am honestly excited to go back to him for another root canal when and if I need another one . So trust me, only go to Dr. Vandersloot here in Tracy off of Tracy Blvd if you need a root canal done . Oh ya, and after surgery you will barely have any discomfort .....if you do feel you need something then you will only need to take one simple regular strength tablet Tylenol if you choose to....and that is it !!!!! UPDATE: Finally got ahold of the receptionist. Quick, easy, and no hassle to get an appointment set up. The receptionist/clerk even went further and obtained my information from my Dentist that recommended me to their office. I didn't have to do anything other than state my name, number, and availability. Now here's to hoping the tooth work goes just as smooth :-)

I called them with a lot of pain they were able to see me right away due to a Cancelation. They took good care of me Dr Vandersloot explian everything to me. My first visit with Dr Vandersloot was probably the best experience in a dental chair I've ever had. The staff was incredibly efficient and the procedure (root canal) was easier than a cleaning or a filling. Absolutely no pain at all. I can't say enough of a thank you for a truly professional visit. Very well done.

This staff is absolutely incredible! From the front desk (they had never met me but welcomed me by my first name immediately upon entry), to the fantastic support assistants and of course, Dr. Ma (THE BEST) I expected to feel pain with my root canal, but the experience was seamless and shockingly a breeze. I wish every clinic was this professional and efficient. Wow!!!

I came into the office to get recommendation on my tooth pain which resulted in a root canal. The staff was professional, the office was clean and the visit was exceptional. The root canal procedure was flawless, no pain during and follow up was done they next day by the staff. I highly recommend them if you need dental care!

Doc was very nice and he made sure to answer any questions I had. He was very thorough and explained everything he was doing. Him and his staff constantly checked in with me to make sure I wasn't feeling any pain and that I was doing alright. Office staff was very nice and did a great job communicating with me with reminders and schedule changes. I highly recommend this place!!
