Dr. Chris Vanderpool is a native Floridian but is proud to call southern New England home. He is a graduate of Florida State University (Go Seminoles!) where he graduated with honors in biochemistry. Before attending dental school, Dr. Vanderpool taught AP Chemistry and Physics to a talented group of students at Boca Raton High School in Florida. He earned his dental degree at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, and was a clerk in the oral surgery department.
Following dental school, Dr. Vanderpool completed a residency in general dentistry at the Providence VA Medical Center, where he gained advanced experience in prosthodontics (crown, bridge, dentures), endodontics (root canals), oral surgery (extractions and implants) and management of medically compromised patients. Dr. Vanderpool is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance his skills to better serve the dental care needs of his patients and provide them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience.
Dr. McWilliams received her Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University with honors in Biobehavioral Health. Prior to dental school, she spent time as a Research Assistant in Washington, DC and worked for the Clinical Research Center at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio.
She earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from University of New England College of Dental Medicine. Following graduation, Dr. McWilliams completed a General Practice Residency in General Dentistry through Brown University at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI where she discovered her passion for hospital dentistry and working with patients with special needs. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Rhode Island Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Association and is committed to lifelong continued education through avenues such as the Seattle Study Club.
Dr. McWilliams is an equestrian, enjoys running, yoga, traveling with her husband, Neima, and hiking with her dog, Edna. She takes pride in providing comprehensive dental care in a comfortable setting that strives to improve the health and well-being of her patients.
