Heather met her husband-to-be, Walter, at the University of Buffalo in 1998. They were married in 2002 and have four children. Heather plays the viola and violin. Together they enjoy scuba diving, gardening and walking or biking. Their family pet is Jillian, a West Highland White Terrier.
