In 2004, Dr. van Opijnen, with his wife of over 30 years and two sons, moved to Northern California to begin his practice in Red Bluff. In his spare time, Dr. van Opijnen enjoys classic cars, bicycling, reading and playing with his two Airedale Terriers, Andy and Violet.
Pat has had a passion for dentistry for over 30 years. She received her RDA from Sacramento City College and has attended various continuing education classes to extend her knowledge with placing and restoring implants. Initially working as a back-office assistant, Pat now works as Dr. van Opijnen's office manager.
She and Michael, her husband of over 30 years, moved to the Red Bluff area over 25 years ago. They have three grown children, twin grandsons and one Springer Spaniel, Kooper. In her spare time, Pat enjoys cooking and traveling.
Mady is a lifetime resident of Shasta County. She attended Anderson High School and graduated from the dental hygiene program at Shasta College in 2017. She loves the Northstate and feels fortunate to call it home. Her fun time is spent with her husband and two young daughters.
She enjoys her work and has an energetic outlook on the importance and advances that dental hygiene has made in the past decade. Mady understands the connection between good dental care and how it equates to good health. She loves learning and sharing the never-ending advancements always happening in the field of dentistry and hygiene.
Caryn, born and raised in the North State, loves dentistry and has many years of experience. She 's been voted 'Best Dental Assistant of the North State' twice, a significant honor. Caryn has two wonderful daughters, who are both stellar athletes and scholastic high-achievers. She loves cooking, baking and playing baseball, but her true passion is the outdoors and, particularly, fishing.
