I am a native of Appleton, WI and am excited to be back in the Fox Valley after spending the last few years practicing in Madison, WI. While in Madison, the opportunity to practice with a group of experienced dentists as well as participate in many continuing education courses from some of the most respected names in the dental community rapidly expanded my practice. Continued education ensures that I am providing the most up to date and exceptional dental treatment available.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Whitney, and our dog, Scout. We enjoy all outdoor activities especially long walks and hikes. We always are looking forward to the next adventure. In the summertime you can find us spending time up north or out exploring the Appleton area.
Hello, my name is Rachel and I graduated from Fox Valley Technical Colleges dental assisting program in 2020. I am excited to be going back to school at FVTC this fall to study dental hygiene. I was raised in Chilton and remain engaged in the community. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, music of all kinds, and trying new restaurants. I am excited to be a part of the Van Hoof Dental team!
My name is Nikki and I am the Front Desk Receptionist/Scheduling Coordinator with Van Hoof Dental. I have had roughly 11 years of experience in the medical field, and am new to the dental industry. I really enjoy working with patients and making them feel welcomed, comfortable and excited to come here each and every day.
I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin. After high school I moved to the Fox Valley area to continue my education and work full time. I am married to my husband, Ramsey. We are new parents to our daughter, Madelyn, and have a dog, Remmy. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family. We spend a lot of time at the family cottage snowmobiling in the winter and boating in the summer. My husband and I love to play volleyball as well. We have been looking forward to doing some of our favorite activities with our daughter!
Jeanne is a graduate of Fox Valley Technical college dental assisting program. She has been living her childhood dream, as becoming a dental assistant, for the last 38 years! In her time off, she enjoys many activities with her husband, four children, their spouses, granddaughter, and has another grandchild on the way this summer! Jeanne loves football and baseball games, traveling, and spending time in Door County, WI where they have a camper. Working with and helping people of all ages makes my job very rewarding. She strives to get to know each patient and to make their visit a great experience!
Abby graduated from the hygiene program at Fox Valley Technical college. She was raised in Darboy and loves spending time with her family. She especially loves spoiling her nephew! She enjoys working out, hanging out with her close friends, and shopping at Home Goods. What she loves the most about working at Van Hoof Dental is the fabulous teammates, wonderful patients, and being able to educate her patients on their oral health as well as their overall health.
If you hear singing, humming, or whistling when you are at the office, its most likely coming from Alyssa! I like talking with people in general, but getting people to actually like going to the dentist by telling funny stories, helping them understand the importance of dentistry, or even helping them find ways to afford the treatment they need is what I love!
When not at the office Alyssa loves to cook and bake. She enjoys anything that involves music, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband, 2 daughters (and their significant others), her 1 son, and her dog and grand-dogs.

Good experience for dental visit. My hygienist, cleans well & gives me good advice on how to take care of my teeth. Doc Van Hoof, is a real good dentist, and is good at explaining things too. Only thing, could use a senior discount, since I am retired, but not on Medicaid yet. Couple years I will be. Paying out of pocket, in an insurance rates world.

My appointment 3/28/22 went well. I was comfortable during the entire procedure, and similarly had no issues afterward. Good to multi-task... An old filling was replaced, also secondary gum/ jaw preparation for scheduled tooth implants. Thank you!

It is easy to see from first interactions that Van Hoof Dental is a top-notch group that strives to achieve exceptional dental care. I was glad to be able to continue with my hygienist Karin who is very skilled, thorough, knowledgeable, friendly and provides excellent advice. Having been a very satisfied patient of Dr. Shoberg's group for many years before his retirement, I am very pleased to be in good hands at Van Hoof Dental. I feel very comfortable with the transition and have confidence in the work they do.

Transitioning to a new dentist when you have been a patient in the same practice for decades can be a bit unsettling! I felt very comfortable knowing that Jeanne, Abby and Alyssa still provide an excellent level of care, compassion and thoroughness. I am very pleased with the competence, confidence and concern that Dr. Van Hoof has for his patients. The general atmosphere of the new location, along with the additional staff, is comfortable, friendly and inviting. A key factor for me in dealing with any medical and dental personnel is trust. I've been a patient at Van Hoof Dental ever since Dr. Logan purchased the practice a few years back. My experiences with Van Hoof Dental have been above my expectations! My hygienist, Abby, is top notch - professional, personable, and gentle. As for Dr. Van Hoof, I didn't think anyone could replace Dr. David Emanuel but Dr. Van Hoof has done so. He's personable, with a good sense of humor, and a great dentist. For someone who didn't have great dental experiences as a child, I give this practice 5 stars!

My routine exam was great! Abby did an amazing job at cleaning and X-rays. It was pain free and my teeth felt so clean when I was finished. The whole team at Van Hoof dental is so friendly. I highly recommend Van Hoof Dental for all your dentistry needs.
