Dr. Yamates passion for dentistry developed when she was in grade school. Dentistry sparked her interest as she realized she could make a difference in someones day by repairing a painful toothache. She also loved how dentists can have a long-lasting relationship with their patients and getting to know them over the years. Even in high school she was already volunteering and paving way to enter dental school. Making a difference and helping her patients are her first priority!
In addition to traveling, Dr. Yamate enjoys playing Pokmon Go with her 7 year old nephew, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. She is also fond of all things Disney and is a big Seattle Mariner's fan.

I visited on a Friday morning and had an awesome experience! The receptionist was helpful and courteous and took care of checking me in and updating my information. The doctor and hygienist took great care of me and gently cleaned and inspected everything during my appointment. They were very thorough but gentle at the same time and even pointed out areas on my teeth that I needed to clean better at home which I appreciated. The office was very clean and organized too. I will definitely be coming back for all my dental needs in the future

Dr. Nozomi Yamate is a kind and gentle dentist. I am extremely anxious, have a hearing impairment, and am very sensitive about my teeth. Dr. Nozomi Yamate and her team took the time to understand my needs, come up with a plan, and work within my levels of comfort. They are always incredibly patient and empathetic. They take great care of me and my family, work with our insurance, and are always available to answer our questions! We cannot say enough good things about Value Dental!

If I could give Zero stars, I would. Its unfortunate that state insurance isn't accepted at more places especially for children. My experience, with my 10year old son was horrifying. This office created severe dental anxiety for my child, and I can never take away his fear now because of them. During COVID, they wouldn't let me .. the MOTHER go back with my son when he needed a couple small fillings. I asked them to come and get me if he was scared or upset, and they said "of course!". I was then sent outside to my car. Fast forward to an hour later my son comes out in tears... In pain... And mentally scarred from this doctor. I am absolutely mortified that a child wasn't treated with patience and compassion when he obviously needed his mom. Never again will I return to this office.

My experience was great !!! I got my crown replace . The team at Value Dental Genuinely care for their patients. I haven't been back to a dental office in over 8yrs, so I had minor Anxiety, but the team took care of me. Thank you again !!! I would recommend Value Dental to family and friends.

There are two main people, the dentist and her assistant. Both work well together to the extent you think they can read each other's minds. They are very detail oriented and very sensitive to your needs. The slightest pain and they are concerned. They do a great job, I couldn't be happier. I pay cash for my services and I felt not only well treated but the fees were manageable. They have my business. Try them out! I never give 5 stars, so 4 is the utmost best in my book. 5 stars is perfect in every way and no one passes that muster so don't look at it as under grade but as a phenomenal rating. They are both great! Their receptionist too!

I don't understand why the patient is not given personal information about his teeth on his hands ?! They don't even send any information via email. I do not understand why this information is kept so secret from patients. Maybe something is wrong here?
