Dr. Isaac Pearlman graduated from NYU with honors in Endodontics and made deans list. He completed his general practice residency at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, NY where he trained one on one with dental specialists. After residency, Dr. Pearlman practiced in Brooklyn and Manhattan and currently practices in Valley Stream, LI where he has worked for the past ten years. Dr. Pearlman is the attending dentist at Adira Nursing Home and Sprain Brook Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation. He is a past President of MyChoice Dental Plan, Inc and remains as a dental consultant. Dr. Pearlman is commited to continuing education and has completed courses in implant placement and restoration, invisalign, cosmetic dentistry, and others. Staying informed of all modern techniques and providing the best equipment is very important to us and we are always updating our office. We pride ourselves on our warm and friendly atmosphere and cater to those with dental fears. Our practice is unique in that you will always see the same dentist and not an associate. We provide evening hours as well as hours on Sundays. On a personal note, Isaac is one of 6 children and grew up in Brooklyn, NY. He currently resides in Long Island with his wife Sippora and their children. We look forward to having you as part of our dental family!

I have always been afraid of going to the dentist but he's so gentle and also has a great sense of humor which puts you at ease. So happy with my experience there!

Dr Perlman is more interested in the buck than caring for his patients. hw wanted me to pay him for advice he was giving me about the work of another dos. Which I didn't.

He is Amazing dentist. I've been using Dr. Pearlman for many years, and have always enjoyed his candor and humor. I believe he only sees the good in people and tries to help them when ever he can. He has, over the years, fixed the many issues and pains I've had with my teeth. Sometimes I have to come back for a second appointment, nut I dont believe for a second (like a previous reviewer said) that it had anything to do with money. I highly recommend Dr. Pearlman for his amazing ability to fix a broken tooth, (including the 2 root canals he did non me) bond my front chipped teeth to make me look great again, all the way down to the cleanings. I travel over an hour each way to use Dr. Pearlman, and I dont regret it at all. Honest, caring and funny (and a good dentist) is the way I would sum him up!

I went to this dentist on Monday (01/03) after finding him on my insurer's page for dentists who are in-network. I went in with a dental emergency (a back tooth that had a linear crack) I was in so much pain that I was up for 27 straight hours. I don't believe he took my pain seriously, I left with a script for Amoxicillin and instructions to take OTC Advil. This was AFTER I told him that I was still feeling pain after taking generic Oxycodone. His staff (two women of color) were very nice and professional but this dentist was very hung up on my appearance. He said so himself, he was so surprised that I have a chipped front tooth and began commenting on my "nice, put-together appearance" and how it's a departure from my chipped tooth. He began openly commenting on my employability and how employers may not see me as a fit because of the chipped tooth. I told him that I'm currently not working (my choice as the job was negatively impacting my mental health) and he began questioning me about my spouse's source of income. He was talking about optics and how I'm a well-put-together young woman and I need to be concerned about that in this world. This was upsetting and off-putting. He wasn't able to locate the source of my pain, even though he took an x-ray and took multiple looks at the problem area. He told me that I'd have to come back on Thursday (today) and I'd need ANOTHER x-ray and to see their surgeon. I honestly and truly believe he was just looking to rack up more money. I wasn't charged for the visit, he billed my insurer but nevertheless, it wasn't a good experience. I'd advise women not to go here and that goes double for Black women. Unless you like having your looks commented on, being condescendingly "coached" on your employability and social worth. I'd give him a zero if I could and the nicest thing about this office is the waiting room.

I never thought I would write a review about how much I like my dentist. Dental work has never been a good experience. Dr. Perelman makes it the best that it can possibly be. He is very knowledgeable, gentle, and ensures that you are fully informed f your options and the recommended treatments. He came highly recommended to me and I'm glad I gave it a try. I highly recommend dr. Perelman.

Dr Pearlman is caring, gentle and honest. I have been seeing him for 6+ years now along with my husband and children and the experience is always pleasant. Clean office and great staff. I highly recommend!

I am someone who never leaves reviews, but I couldn't end my day without writing these words. I am a grown woman with a ridiculous fear of anything dentist related. After I lost a tooth, I knew I was at the end of my rope, and dragged myself into Dr. Pearlman's office. The care and professionalism he displayed from the very moment I saw him was beyond impressive. He explained everything needed to be done on my teeth calmly and answered the many questions I had happily. Today, along with his fellow surgeon in office, I had a huge amount of work done. He took as many breaks as I needed, and made sure I was comfortable and informed. My anxiety was at a 10 when I walked in, and literally almost gone by the time he started the extractions. Kudos Dr Pearlman!

My family visits Dr. Pearlman and when I say family, I mean friends we consider extended family as well. We have been clients of his for at least 9 years (I believe). My children were very young when we started coming to his office and they love him. They actually fight over who goes in first. Lol. The office is clean, thorough and friendly. We always feel safe and welcomed.

Went to him because my previous Dentist no longer accepts my daughter's insurance. My daughter gave him thumbs up. She said, "way better than the other Dentist." I loved how he explained everything to me and not in a hurry to get me out. Very attentive and my daughter approves.

Excellent ! On time no long waits. Friendly and accommodating staff. Dr. Pearlman is up to date, thorough and explains everything that he is doing and why. He will answer all your questions. He wants to make sure you're as comfortable and pain free as possible. I didn't feel the needle injected into my gums and I've had countless dental surgery. I've also seen countless dentists. He's a keeper!
