I hope the following helps you in your choosing of an orthodontist. I know how hard it is to find one. Choosing Dr. Lee for my braces was the best dental decision I've ever made. Besides reading reviews (here and on Yelp), I recommend you to also check out their website. Dr. Lee - Board certified. Offers free consultation. - Competent, professional, gentle, caring, kind and super friendly. - Excellent chairside manner. He'll tell you what's going to happen, so you won't be taken by surprise. - Makes you feel so comfortable that you can voice your questions and concerns, or anything. - Listens to you, gives you options, asks you if you're happy with how your teeth look before making your brace-off appointment. - Has wonderful assistants. The team is always welcoming and treating you with kindness and smiles. Office - Clean, minimal and modern, with an excellent color theme. From the office to his business card to his website. - There's music playing on the speakers and also Netflix playing with captions on TVs in the waiting area as well as in the treatment area. - No doors or hallway to walk through once you're inside. Sometimes you could even see him working from the waiting area. I love the layout of the office. - Small parking lot at the back. Communications and Appointments - Flexible, easy to make and expect. Usually the same day of the week, 4-6 weeks from your current appointment. - They'll remind you by phone and if you choose, text also. - You won't need to wait for long for your appointment. Because Dr. Lee doesn't rush anyone and always patiently answers every question and concerns so sometimes the person before you may take a bit longer. - Besides calling in during office hours or after (voicemails are checked everyday), you can easily reach Dr. Lee by email. He will personally answer emails even after office hours. Options - Lots of payment options. - Lots of options for colors. From the O-rings/ power chains to the retainer (Hawley) and retainer case. - You'll have your choice of retainer. If you choose to go with Hawley retainer, they'll take your impression at the appointment before last so you'll have your retainer ready right after the braces off. Overall, I had a great experience here. Dr. Lee and his team helped my journey with braces, an enjoyable one. I'm so grateful to have found Dr. Lee and have him as my orthodontist. As someone who has social anxiety and never seems to find a right dentist in their life, I really wish Dr. Lee does everything so I could go to him for my other dentistry needs. These people do some awesome work here! Friendly atmosphere and great lighting. I came here to fix my teeth, but before, my teeth were jagged and out of place. After I came here, my teeth were perfectly aligned and looking much better. I would totally recommend anyone trying to make their teeth look perfect to come here.

[Highly recommend this place!] Dr. Lee is a very professional and knowledgeable doctor who is very patient with all your questions and concerns. I started wearing braces back in July 2019. Back then, Dr. Lee told me that I might have to wear it for 18-24 months, and I had my braces off last month (July 2021) - within the timeframe he gave me, and I am so happy with the final "work." The clinic is modern and cute, and there are many TVs that you won't get bored at all because they are always playing fun movies! The office staffs are amazing. They are friendly and always willing to help you. They also call you before your EVERY appointment to remind you, so you won't forget. One thing that I like the most is that they VALUE your time. Dr. Lee is very on-time, and everything is well-organized, so if you aren't a fan of wasting time, this is the place you need to be! ---> If you are looking for a great orthodontist, Valley Smiles Orthodontics is the one!

Dr. Lee is fantastic! He is meticulous and very informative during every visit. I had inbrace for 16 months and was very satisfied throughout the whole process. Dr. Michael Lee was very professional and very upfront with my procedures and his prices. I had come in to because I needed replacement retainers and my teeth had shifted quite a bit since I lost my retainers. He not only was upfront about his prices and procedures, but I also never felt pressured or uncomfortable or SHAMED into getting my teeth corrected. Even though I chose the option of just getting my retainers replaced, he was very accomodating and was able to give me my retainers the same day. He also gave me a list of all the options I could do if I ever did decide to correct the minor shift in my teeth. Not only is he extremely knowledgable and professional, his prices are very fair! Definetly had a great experience with him and would recommend to anyone who is hesitant to get their teeth corrected!

I was in San Gabriel area for a couple of months on an office project and few days in, I notice that my upper permanent retainer is coming off from one of the tooth. I wasn't gonna do much about it, until my teeth started shifting. Valley Smiles Orthodontics was the closest place and I am so glad I went there. Dr. Lee was awesome and took care of my retainer, repaired it and made the whole experience so comfortable! If I was living in the area, this place would definitely be my first choice for orthodontics!

Dr. M Lee is a friendly orthodontist who cares about his patients. I have had braces from him for about a year and they have not broken and they rarely hurt. He explains the process to you so you know what the plan is. The facility has modern equipment and is very clean. A great choice for people who wish to have straight teeth in life.

We went to Dr. Lee for treatment options for our kids (crowding, pulling teeth, retainers....). He clearly explained the pros and cons of a few different scenarios. And he followed up on us after a few weeks to check in.

My orthodontist, Dr. Michael Lee, is very great and does an amazing job! He's very polite, patient, as well as professional. Unlike other orthodontists, they proceed by appointments so the wait time isn't long. If anyone's looking for an orthodontist, I'd definitely recommend Dr. Michael Lee!
