Our doctors are members of various major professional organizations. These include the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Society of Dentistry for Children, American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, Arizona Academy of Pediatric Dentists.
Dr. Lout grew up in Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma State University and Southwestern Oklahoma State University School of Pharmacy. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. After dental school, He completed his pediatric dental residency and Master of Science degree at the University of Minnesota. As part of his residency, his hospital training was at the University of Minnesota Hospitals and Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Following his training, he was awarded the Graduate Student Research Award by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He has practiced pediatric dentistry since 1984. Dr. Lout is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry He has been voted by his peers as a 'Top Dentist' in Phoenix Magazine on multiple occasions. Dr. Lout has served on several committees of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners. Locally, he is on the advisory council of the Medical Services Project, an organization sponsored by the Arizona Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics which works with school nurses in facilitating healthcare for children and adolescents whose families do not have access to dental or medical services. Dr. Lout met his wife Clara in dental school. They are blessed with two daughters, Alyssa and Gabrielle.
Dr. Ash grew up in Arizona. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northern Arizona University where she received her Bachelors of Science degree. Dr. Ash received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University Of Colorado School Of Dentistry where she graduated with Cum Laude honors. At the University of Colorado, she also received the Dr. Solomon Averbach Humanitarian Award and Dr. David M. Childs Fellowship Award. Following dental school, Dr. Ash practiced for over three years in downtown Phoenix treating underserved children. After realizing that caring for childrens dental needs was her passion, Dr. Ash decided to further her training. She received her pediatric specialty education from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association and the Arizona Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Ash and her husband Jon have two sons, Andrew and Bradley. They are huge sports fans and love spending their time outside, enjoying the Arizona sun.

This place is great!! They are so nice and care about the children! My son isn't 2 yet but we just visited for the second time. It's a quick appointment right now because he is so young they just look at his teeth and said it's nice to bring the little ones in so young so they can start getting used to going the dentist and I'm ok with that. Although my kid wasn't to happy about today's visit ( just in a stage right now) every kid that I saw walking in or out of that place seemed happy ! They even get a nice little goodie bag with a new toothbrush. I'm looking forward to coming here for many years.

Our son is a challenging dental patient due to some sensory difficulties and he always does so great with Dr Ash and team. They really know how to work with all kids, even special needs kids! We refer to this group from my pediatric practice for a reason!

We saw Dr. Lout today for our son's first dental visit. He's only 18 months old, so it was a quick visit, but the staff and dentist were very friendly and made it a positive experience for us and our son. It was very clean and child-friendly inside. We were able to ask lots of questions and you could tell right away that Dr. Lout has a lot of experience in dentistry and with children!

My daughter has extreme anxiety over her teeth and having cleanings, etc. the hygienists here are incredibly patient with her. The Dr. is kind and empathetic. I am so pleased with this office. Everyone is courteous and professional.

Just amazing. Dr. Lout and his team were incredible. My son had to go under general anesthesia for about 2 hours worth of work and I couldn't have prayed for a better team for myself and my son. I was extremely emotional and they were as patient as possible. The work done by Dr. Lout was impeccable, and my son had no discomfort whatsoever after. Dr. Lout even provided two tiny treasure chests with the teeth that were extracted inside so I could keep them. My son is 6 and is usually very easy going but became a little combative coming out of anesthesia, I was distraught and the whole team did there best to keep him and myself calm. I want to thank everyone at the Phoenix office, and commend Dr. Lout for his incredible practice and bedside manner. Just incredible. Thank you!!

Since it was my daughter's first visit, she was afraid of going to the dentist. The x-ray and cleaning was performed by the gentle staff. She had a great experience, she would love to go back.

My kids love coming to the dentist! As a dental assistant (non pediatric), I feel confident that my kids are receiving the best care. Dr Lout and Dr Ash are both great and have such a calming demeanor. Highly recommend this office!!!

My little girl went in for some dental treatment and the entire appointment was great. The staff is very friendly and patient, not only with kids but with parents as well. They answer all your questions. They also monitor you child's vitals throughout the sedation, which makes you feel more at ease. Although, my daughter woke up half way through the appointment, Dr. Ash reassured her that she was okay and continued to talk her through the procedure. Her work is excellent!

They are always so kind to my child. They ask how things are going. How they want to be addressed and ask if there are any concerns. I believe my child doesn't mind going to the Dentist because everyone there os so kind. Thank you for making sure it is a pleasant visit every time.

My daughter has been a patient of Valley Pediatric Dentists for years now and we love it! All of the staff are great! They are always very kind and gentle. Whenever i have had a question or concern, they've been quick to take care of my needs. Dr. Lout is who my daughter usually sees and during every visit, he's been awesome! We had had bad experience with other pediatric dentists and looked for a great place for years. Now that we've found it, we're here to stay or until they kick us out!

Had a great visit with our three-year-old daughter! It was her first time to a dentist, so we were a little nervous. However, they took such good care of our daughter we knew she was in good hands. We will definitely be coming back every six months to see them!
