Our doctors are members of various major professional organizations. These include the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Society of Dentistry for Children, American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, Arizona Academy of Pediatric Dentists.
Dr. Lout grew up in Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma State University and Southwestern Oklahoma State University School of Pharmacy. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. After dental school, He completed his pediatric dental residency and Master of Science degree at the University of Minnesota. As part of his residency, his hospital training was at the University of Minnesota Hospitals and Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Following his training, he was awarded the Graduate Student Research Award by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He has practiced pediatric dentistry since 1984. Dr. Lout is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry He has been voted by his peers as a 'Top Dentist' in Phoenix Magazine on multiple occasions. Dr. Lout has served on several committees of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners. Locally, he is on the advisory council of the Medical Services Project, an organization sponsored by the Arizona Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics which works with school nurses in facilitating healthcare for children and adolescents whose families do not have access to dental or medical services. Dr. Lout met his wife Clara in dental school. They are blessed with two daughters, Alyssa and Gabrielle.
Dr. Ash grew up in Arizona. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northern Arizona University where she received her Bachelors of Science degree. Dr. Ash received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University Of Colorado School Of Dentistry where she graduated with Cum Laude honors. At the University of Colorado, she also received the Dr. Solomon Averbach Humanitarian Award and Dr. David M. Childs Fellowship Award. Following dental school, Dr. Ash practiced for over three years in downtown Phoenix treating underserved children. After realizing that caring for childrens dental needs was her passion, Dr. Ash decided to further her training. She received her pediatric specialty education from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association and the Arizona Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Ash and her husband Jon have two sons, Andrew and Bradley. They are huge sports fans and love spending their time outside, enjoying the Arizona sun.

Dr. Lout and Tabby are absolutely amazing with my children! They work so well together and my kids love them. Dr. Lout is so gentle and explains everything that he's going to do and helps the children stay calm. We LOVE Valley pediatric dentists!

My kids have been going here for more than 5 years and this is an excellent dentist for kids. They are calm and make sure that the child and the parents understand what is happening as they clean their teeth. They do a wonderful job when they have to take care of kids when it comes to cavities. I wish pediatric dental offices were like this one when I was a kid.

I have been taking my kids here for years I want to say more than 10 years! The staff is amazing and Dr. Lout is awesome. These people truly care about our kiddos! They are always friendly, they always have a smile on their face, and know how to make the kids feel comfortable, and the longest we have ever had to wait was maybe 15min max. Because of them my kids love going to their appointments! Thank you guys for all you do the Hernandez Family appreciates you more than you will ever know (:

Even though we have been here a handful of times I am very impressed by the dentist and his knowledge. The staff is helpful and friendly. I feel safe and well informed to continue to see them. Grateful to be seen on our appointed time unlike our last dentist. Kids are comfortable and happy.

Staff is very knowledgeable with kids, and did an exceptional job with my son with autism who was there for his first dentist visit. From the x-rays to the teeth cleaning to the visit with the dentist, my son was able to understand what to do and they were very gentle and explained/showed him what they would be doing before they did it. Really, a spectacular experience!! I would recommend this office to everyone!

The staff is always so nice, friendly and on time which is always appreciated when bringing in my 4 kids to get their teeth cleaned. I recently took my daughter in to have two teeth pulled. Dr. Lout explained everything that was going on and it went so well. She said she didn't feel any pain and we were in and out in no time.

I have to say I am beyond amazed with this dental office. I was so nervous coming here, cause we had a not so great experience at another pediatric dentist. My pediatrician recommended Valley pediatric and I am so thankful he did! Because wow was it not only SUPER clean! The staff is completely wonderful all the way up to the dentist! I couldn't appericate that more! They made us feel welcome and gave us a feeling that we are in great hands!Dr. Ash she is amazing, works fast and well with my wiggly toddler lol! She is very informative and takes her time explaining everything you need to know and being a first time mom I absolutely appreciate that so much! They have a fast respond time to questions too! Our dental experience at Valley pediatric is definitely one for the books! I am so happy I have found a dentist I can trust with my child's teeth!

I was very nervous taking my child in for their first dentist appointment, especially during a pandemic. But from the moment we walked into the office it was a great experience! The front office so was helpful and kind, they were taking all safety precautions seriously, and the dental check itself was a breeze! The Dentist really took his/her time to make my child feel comfortable. I was very impressed and highly recommend!
