As a dentist, I love to work collaboratively with each patient to build a healthier, happier smile. I am committed to clinical excellence, patient education, improved quality of life, and providing world-class dental treatment with integrity, compassion, and an obsessive attention to detail.
Dr. Hong served honorably in the U.S. Army as an Active Duty general dentist for five years through a Health Professionals Scholarship Program. With her husband and two children, she relocated three times during that period and developed lifelong friendships along the way. The Hong family finally had the opportunity to choose where to live and decided that St. Louis was the perfect place to settle down. Dr. Hong loves to spend quality time with friends and familyespecially when there's food involved.
Whenever a person's oral health is not in tiptop shape, their ability to smile, communicate, and eat (my personal favorite) are immediately affected. I am honored to be able help people smile their best smile, talk and laugh with their family and loved ones, and enjoy their favorite foods.
My main goal is to provide all my patients with the best possible dental care in the most relaxing environment. From simple toothaches to complex problems, from my youngest pediatric patient to my oldest geriatric patient, I strive to provide personalized and compassionate treatment for everyone. I will always make sure I am at the leading edge of dental techniques and technology so that I can meet each patient's needs in the most effective, affordable, and pain-free way possible.
Growing up in the small town of Rochelle in northern Illinois, I was always outside playing with my parents, brother, sister, and family dog which fostered my love of sports and the outdoors. I enjoy watching my favorite sports teams, trying new restaurants, and watching movies. Go White Sox, Bears, Raiders, Blackhawks, and Bulls!

Valley Park Dental has been amazing! Their kindness and excellent care set them apart. Over the past year, I have required extensive reconstruction work. Dr. Winebaugh and his team have walked me through the journey to recovery with empathy and honesty.

The office indicated that I need an x-ray $85.00 out of pocket today. It was not necessary to have it done today. When I challenged the cost and treatment they indicated that if I wait one month the insurance would pay.

I was seen at Valley Park Dental on an emergency issue while my regular dentist's office was closed for a week. Dr. Hong and her staff were great: very professional, compassionate, and willing to take the time to answer my questions thoroughly. A big thank you to Brittany for her follow-up to be sure I was getting along OK after the surgery, too. It was my first visit but it won't be my last.

My appointment was at 8 am and I did not have to wait long. My dental hygienist did an amazing job and the dentist was very thorough and informative with her examination. Highly recommend them!!

Simply amazing experience. Dr Hong is great! The practice is state of the art, waiting room is very comfortable, and the staff are professional and personable. So glad I chose to to have my dental health at Valley Park Dental Care.

Great experience and they all made my kids comfortable and calmed their nerves. My son has been super nervous about coming back to the dentist since his last appointment last year (with another dental office in another state) and Bruce did an incredible job making him comfortable and talking him through the whole process. My son has already said it was easy and he's not nervous about going back in 6 months. Definitely recommend this dental office!

The office called to let me know somebody had canceled right before me and asked if I could come in early. It worked out really well for me because I was finished with my other appointments early. Loved Bruce my dental hygienist, he was very sweet and easy to work with. Took gentle care of his work with me. Very informative. Setting up appointments for the future was easy. And checking out was Smooth.

Fantastic staff. Great care. They saved me when I had a dental emergency and couldn't find an open dentist. They worked me in and took care of me. I am very grateful!

Not bad, but not great. The doc was very nice, though, and the hygienist was thorough. Front desk folks are not particularly social, but probably have a lot to deal with. Still, one likes to be received and appreciated. I don't appreciate how they do things the insurance doesn't cover w/o asking first. Before you know it, you are getting a fluoride treatment. Or a cancer screening. I'm sure they care, but it feels like they are padding their stats. This was my second visit. Not sure if I will be back. I miss the dentist I had in Oklahoma. Such quality may not be around STL, though.
