Hi, my name is Dr. Tamara Kroboth, or Dr. K, as most people know me. I grew up on Long Island and completed my undergraduate, dental, and orthodontic training at Stony Brook University thats 11 years in one school! I always knew I wanted to work with kids, but I had the unique experience of having braces during dental school being an ortho patient myself and seeing first-hand how it changed my life and confidence for the better made me passionate about making orthodontics my career.
I love being a part of Valley because I am able to do what I love deliver personalized, high quality care in the form of not only straight teeth, but also a stable bite and harmonious profile. While we create beautiful healthy smiles, we also have fun getting to know our patients and parents during their ortho journey!
I am board certified with the American Board of Orthodontics, and a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, as well as locally the Ninth Dental District. I am currently the President of the Dutchess County Dental Society. I live in Dutchess County with my husband, Alex and our four cats the newest one a naughty Siamese named Hairy Purrter. When Im not busy as a cat lady in training, I am watching Star Wars and Harry Potter movies, hiking, or traveling.
Hi! Im Jenna! I became part of the administrative team in the summer of 2016. I have an extensive background in providing exceptional customer experiences. I am also a certified personal trainer which has provided me with a wide spectrum of knowledge on health and fitness pertaining to all ages. Outside of the office I enjoy exploring all genres of movies and music. I am an avid New York Rangers fan! I have a fur baby, named Carl who I love to spoil and spend time with! I look forward to providing you and your family with exceptional care as well as growing and expanding with the Valley Pediatric Dentistry team.
Hi! my name is Lucia, Im an orthodontic assistant. I was bringing my kids to Valley Pediatric Dentistry and I love it so much that I decided to work here! I have been working with our orthodontist, Dr. Kroboth, since 2018. I have had the pleasureof meeting and getting to know so many ortho patients as well as their families this is my favorite part of working at VPD. I loveto see the smiles of our patients transform as they go through the braces process. When I am not with my work family, I enjoy spending time with my husband, John, and our two kids Luke and Grace.
Hi! Im Jessica, a certified dental assistant. In 2016, I received my chair side dental certification from the ninth district dental association. Luckily for me, I get to work alongside the orthodontic and the pediatric team, best of both worlds, really. My personal emphasis is on patient comfort and providing the best quality of care as well as helping create beautiful smiles. I love being able to work with a team that values nurturing patients as much as I do. When Im not working, Im usually experimenting in the kitchen, cooking is one of my favorite hobbies. I enjoy spending timewith my fianc, Rob and my crazy animals (Walt & Tiger). One of my guilty pleasures is just sitting on the couch, binging shows on the bravo network; possibly with a jar of Nutella.
Hi my name is Nicole. I am a sterilization assistant. Ive been with VPD since 2019. I have a unique role as Im not just in the lab, I also help the administrative and ortho team. It has been such a fun experience being a part of the VPD team; they all truly love what they do and it shows. They are all helpful and passionate about teaching newer team members learn the ropes. I am a student at DCC where I am a Science/Liberal Arts Major. I am very passionate about animals and will be seeking a Zoology degree. When Im not with the team, I enjoy photography, hiking and hanging out with my friends.

We really love the team at Valley Orthodontics! Everyone is always so pleasant and personable. The office is always neat and clean. Dr.K truly takes pride in the care and service she provides to her patients. The entire team gets five stars across the board.

Dr Tamara is caring and very therapeutic with my son. My son was terrified of braces and several times we tried and he had refused to have them done even though he needed them badly. Dr Tamara did everything possible to work with Phillip to make sure his teeth were fixed and she is still working with him tirelessly. She is the best doctor when it comes to kids hands down!!! Let me not forget to add Jenna the front desk lady she knows how I run late on most of my appointments, I always feel bad but they have never turned me away, Jenna I am working on my timing I will get it straight. All the staff who assist the doctors there and know how to work so well with kids it would not be such a good place if you didn't make it so, we see you and we appreciate you. Thank you for your service!!!

We had a wonderful experience at Dr. Tamara Kroboth's office in Hopewell Jct. We were visiting family in Dutchess County when my daughter had a bit of an orthodontic emergency. Luckily, Dr. K's office was able to fit my daughter in that same day! We were so grateful to receive such kind, competent care so far from home. The whole team treated us so well, we would certainly choose Dr. K's office permanently if we were local. Thanks a million Dr. K and staff!

Dr. Kroboth is a generous and thoughtful orthodontist who really cares. She saw me twice to determine whether or not I needed braces - both before and after she had advised my dentist to make me a night guard and have me wear it for a few months. During the second exam, she advised me against getting braces for reasons that made good sense. I appreciated her clear explanations and her honesty. Thank you!

Such a great experience. My daughter felt so comfortable! The dr and staff were very polite, fun and spent time explaining the process of braces and educated us on why my daughter needed braces. I would definitely recommend to family and friends! Thank you!

We had another terrific appointment today. Dr. K is watching my children's development and keeping me posted as we anticipate their need for orthodontics in the next few years. It is reassuring to have Dr. K coaching and updating us as our children's teeth change even before they need any braces. Plus, the office is lovely, and the staff is kind, helpful, and organized!
