Favorite Part of the Job: Endodontics has many new technologies such as 3D imaging and microscopes. I enjoy using these tools to help educate patients and provide excellent dental care so that patients can overcome any apprehension they may have towards treatment and become excited to save their teeth! Interests: Traveling and hiking around the Southwest and making ceramic pottery.
Favorite Part of the Job: I know that having dental work treatment can become stressful for some patients. With this understanding, I take into careful consideration the comfort of each patient, offering a variety of options to provide a positive experience in our clinic. Interests: Dr. Colorado recently moved to Tucson and enjoys the outdoors. Her hobbies include tennis, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Favorite Part of the Job: Passionate about helping those in need. I regularly volunteer with the Arizona Mission of Mercy to provide free endodontic care to the public. Interests: Avid soccer player, plays outdoor soccer in a mens league, loves swimming in this beautiful Arizona climate.
Favorite Part of the Job: Having the opportunity to help the patient through a procedure they perceive as difficult and in the end, realize it was a breeze. Dr. Lally is a Board Certified Endodontist. Interests: Loves martial arts and is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Also loves to golf on his off time.

Favorite Part of the Job: A native of Arizona, he graduated from Glendale High School and then the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York. He served in the U.S. Army prior to earning his dental degrees. Dr. Salazar considers it a privilege to treat his patients and knows that most people fear the words root canal. He prides himself in trying to do endodontic therapy in a professional and painless manner. Dr. Salazar is also on the faculty at the Midwestern School of Dentistry, Glendale, campus. Interests: All sports, playing golf, and woodworking.
Originally from Indiana, Dr. Schuh has enjoyed living in Tucson for the last 20 years. He earned his DMD degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. Dr. Schuh practiced General Dentistry for 7 years prior to earning his Certificate in Endodontics through NYU Langone Hospitals.
Favorite Part of the Job: There are times when I find myself being more than an endodontist to my patients. Sometimes I am a teacher, and sometimes I am a psychologist. I know that many of my patients want some reassurance that everything is going to be fine.The best way I can provide that is by educating them and providing a gentle touch. I recommend this location! They truly take care of their patients needs first. From the lovely ladies, Melissa & Heather in the front, to the Dr. Amogh Velangi and his assistance, Chris are all amazing!! Dr. has great bedside manner. Glad to have the whole team lead me in the right direction for our dental needs.

I'm the mother of a non verbal autistic adult. He had to have surgery to remove his wisdom teeth, insurance only would cover two. Dr. Amogh Velangi DDS said he would remove the other two so that my son would not have to go through this 3 months from now. The kindness and generosity of this doctor will last a lifetime and I will recommend him to every one I know for any oral surgery.

My experience was amazing, I took my daughter to get her tooth extracted by Dr. Velangi and he was great. He is so thoughtful and nice it really made my daughter feel welcome. He is very good at his profession.

I scheduled an appointment over three weeks ago. When I scheduled I asked if they took my insurance. They said they did. The day before the appointment they called to confirm the appointment. I left work early and drove 45 minutes to get there. When I arrived they said they had tried to call me to tell me they don't take my insurance. I received no call or message from them except to confirm the appointment. They completely wasted my time and then lied about trying to call me ahead of time.

Total mouth reconstruction sounds a bit scary doesn't it? That's what I thought too but from the moment I stepped in the door at Valley Oral Surgery, I couldn't have felt more welcomed by their friendly staff! Dr. Velangi and his assistant Isabelle do amazing work and I am now completely reminded of what confidence is. Who would have thought that smiling would be my new favorite thing to do!!

Wow! What a quick, professional, and basically painless experience Dr. Velangi and his team provided for me in extracting my four wisdom teeth. I'm sure everyone's reaction to the surgery is different, but I am convinced that my quick healing, very mild swelling, and minor pain was absolutely due to the tremendous skill that Dr. Velangi has in what he does! Everyone that I've spoken to about my experience with my surgery are surprised by how great of a job my oral surgeon did. I went down for what felt like three seconds and came back in disbelief that the teeth were out. Amazing! I appreciate the staff and entire team in this office. Thank you for the great job you all do!!!

My poor husband had a referral from his doctor to get help with his teeth. The dentist looked at him and said well what do you want me to do? Isnt he the dentist? Who talks to someone like that? My husband who is very patient was extremely upset when he came home. We will never come back to this office under any circumstances. I'm sure I'd they knew about the carecredit card the doctor wouldn't have been such a rude man. Money talks right? You wont get a penny from us.

Everyone has been extremely nice, except a blond lady up front who has been rude to not only us (all we were doing was checking in) but also being rude with her coworkers while being loud enough for us to hear from the lobby. Everyone else has been charming, but her.

Took my 19yo daughter here to get her wisdom teeth extracted. Dr. Velangi did an excellent job, the anesthesiologist Dr. Roberts was comforting and funny, and their office staff, Heather, was so kind and helpful. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. Dr. Velangi and Dr. Roberts answered all our questions thoroughly, put our nerves at ease, and took excellent care of my daughter. I highly recommend this office. They treat you like family!

Writing this to help others In the hope they don't fall for their schemes. I went in with excruciating pain in rear tooth and was recommended from other dental office. I walked in and was asked if that was the tooth that was in pain. I said yes I think so I'm not sure as it radiates from place to place. 5 min later he pulled my tooth without doing his own evaluation. I didn't have insurance at the time and they said I would have to pay $800 for extraction and bone graft. I said I didn't have that. While I was on the chair with my mouth open they asked how much I had. I said $540. They took that from me and said I would not get a receipt if they gave me that "DEAL". I only got a estimate paper and left 5 min after tooth extraction. 2 months later I walked into another Dental place with same pain and he got the wrong tooth and was shone on their computer that it said that I paid $250 for the extraction when I paid $540. They obviously pocketed they extra cash. Plus their customer service was horrible. PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND GET SEEN BY A REAL PERSON WITH FEELINGS AS THEY DONT CARE FOR YOU HERE. THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY. I WILL BE FOLLOWING UP WITH BBB FOR A COMPLAINT. A gentleman at they second Dental place I went to told me they heard they are very sketchy. Go to a place in Scottsdale!!!

I had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted plus a post from a previous crown, and was extremely nervous since I had been putting this off for so long. Dr. Velangi and the rest of the staff (including anesthesiologist) did a great job, I only had minor soreness for 12 hours after the surgery instead of several days as they expected. Woke up the next morning with no pain or soreness at all, didn't even need the pain meds they gave me. Highly recommend.

Had to have a wisdom tooth pulled and was worried about the pain but they did a great job and it wasn't anywhere near as bad as I'd feared. Also, the doctor and his assistants were very helpful and friendly.

I was able to get an appointment for the day after I called. Dr. Gano was exceptional as well as his assistant, Jo. I have had several root canals done by other Endodontists but this was the first time the diagnosis and process was completely explained to me. I will not go anywhere else for a root canal in the future.

I had the unfortunate need of a root canal. My dentist referred me to Dr. Gano's office. I was very nervous about the procedure, as in the past I hadn't had good experiences. This office staff was kind, proficient, and professional. I was well taken care of from beginning to end of my appointment. Dr.Gano's numbed my gums so efficiently and without discomfort that I was set at ease immediately. His demeanor was confident, thorough and precise. He was patient and compassionate in answering my questions, as well as allowing plenty of time for me to numb completely before starting his work.The experience was the best of ever had, and I highly recommend them.

The entire staff is SUPER friendly. I had a back injury the day before my surgery and Heather (I believe that's her name) was so attentive to make me comfortable and got me a pillow, without even asking! The gal who took my x-rays had a great sense of humor and made me feel like I made a new friend. The gentleman who did my IV and drew my blood for PRF was so gentle, I didn't even feel the needle going in. The anesthesiologist was TOP notch and I went to sleep peacefully. I woke up with little discomfort and I am 24 hours post op with no pain, though my jaw is a little sore. I was scared at first because of horror stories, but I'm convinced with the PRF treatment and the skills of this surgeon helped 100 %. Great work is hard to find now days, but this oral surgeon team is top 1 percent. Thank you all for making me feel comfortable. Best wishes, Jose.
